Wrapped in the solitude of one blessed night
the moon-eyed moon wanders lightly and alone
inside a vast and deep, darkly expansive sky
Dark cores of light glide
through a dormant ether,
as butterfly shadows play softly against
a dense canopy of leaves.
A still figure appears as if by chance,
underneath the cadence of the light,
swaying like wavering puppets on a string
she meditates on
the fast appearing stars ...
Creating magic from the tatters of the night
she's an invisible wand to the world
but unto thyself, she is as full, as the moon.

The water ripples, the wind howls as the dock sways with the breeze.
The birds chirping, the turtles tanning, the leaves tremble on the trees.
Peace be still, peace be quiet as she prayerfully rests.
The sun peeking out from the clouds, she thanks God, she is blessed.
She counts her blessings and meditates as the spring air passes by.
She’s thankful for the things in life, those that money can not buy.
The clashing of water on the rocks brings peace to her soul.
She’s grateful for God’s handiwork; He’s the missing piece that makes her whole.
The deep blue water and the bright green tree tops bring a refreshing sight and smell.
A reminder to her heart and soul, yes, all is well.
As she dips her toes into the cold water, she’s brought out of her tranquil daze;
and here come all her little blessings, stirring up a craze.
Her prayer time is over, it’s time to have a little fun.
Here come the children with water balloons, it’s time for mom to run.

The roaring ocean waves this evening
Hit hard that big smooth rock on the beach
And when the waves return, the seabirds land again on the rock
With the roar of the sea and the repeated flight of birds and their return to the rock
On the other side of the sea the light red sun hugs the silver sea surface
Only the poet in this very cold weather stands on the coast
He looks and looks at the sky and the water right and left,
And meditates
misses the summer,
and the moon
And …

Hello Muddah, hello Faddah,
I’m with Buddah, in Granada,
We had Christmas, in the Isthmus,
Where the misses for our kisses,
Can't resist us.
When my Buddah, wants asada,
He will never ask the mister for Posada,
If you order, enchilada,
He will belly dance for you,
And drink Horchata.
In His pleasance, for the peasants,
He will plead with Santa Claus for Christmas presents,
Rub His belly, make three wishes,
And you’ll never have to bathe,
Or wash the dishes.
If he’s hocking, Christmas stocking,
He will dress like Santa Claus to do the talking,
In the dharma, there’s no drama,
Like there is with His best friend,
The Smelly Llama.
For a long list, of Christmas-free friends,
Buddha likes to exercise by doing knee bends,
If we gotta, and we oughta,
Buddha meditates while dancing,
The Lambada.

You think too much.
Brain stains are left on your skin,
it is now mottled with thought.
From moment to moment
your mind is a tumbleweed,
then a blundering tank
rolling over boxes of kittens.
Silence is your kryptonite.
Your house is a jumble
of intellectual clutter,
open books flutter weakly
piled high on chairs and table.
Some admire your erudite astuteness,
but you wife considers you mad,
as she, in her own quite place,
meditates upon emptiness.

Cherished Angel
A cherished angel with a golden heart
Your wings spread wide apart
So sweet, kind, gentle, loving and caring
With a serene personality, so glaring
Your beauty captivates
Your mind meditates
Before I go to bed
I see visions of you
Your spirit soars like a butterfly
As we journey through paradise
With the warmth of a dove
Your heart shows pure love

She has desirable class
men, attention drawn, as she pass
She has a soothing personality
that expresses her abilty
Her beauty captivates
her mind meditates
So graceful and laid back
always in control, that's a fact
She's as pristine, as a pearl
found around the world
Witty and smart
with a very good heart
She has a love of many things
that don't include a wedding ring
Marriage is not her goal
but the woman got soul
She has desirable class
men, attention drawn, as she pass
She has a soothing personality
that expresses her ability

MIDNIGHT BUTTERFLY
Your spirit soars like a butterfly
as we journey through paradise,
your beauty captivates
your mind meditates
A cherished angel with a golden heart
your wings spread wide apart
with the warmth of a dove
your heart shows pure love
In distant times with brighter skies
we sang the songs that soothed the stars
so sweet, kind, gentle, loving and caring
with a serene personality, so glaring
On calmer nights with cooler moons
we dance on dunes of diamond jewels
the sun sparkles off the waves
like a thousand diamonds set a fire
Crushed blue velvet skies fading into ebony
I stand in the warmth of your gentle embrace
the wish I made is to always be with you.

The man said, we are treated as children
By almost every tradition and religion
As with goblin, gargoyle, fairy stories
Socialized into fearfulness: losing memories, lives -

Jesus taught, "I have overcome!" Recall His Resurrection:
O death, where is your sting, O "sin" where is condemnation?
Whether one meditates on space, or my beloved "Sky-ness"

"One who meditates of death, has disguised his life as one.
One who meditated of death, in order to disguise, knows life."
- "Should I meditate of life then?"
You probably will be 'living death'
(P.s. explanation -
A layman who thinks of nothing but death, and has the essence of it to his very depths, has, ofc, known his familiar friend, 'life'
So he does, cause he has lived and lives of life and want none. Even so, he lives to the fullest. While trying to escape to a place where no human soul has ever reached, he simply traces the paths of knows. Doing so, unconsciously makes a futile attempt of disguising his living into that of death while he actually, indeed, turns to a mortal.)
