“The mystery of life isn't a problem to solve, but a reality to experience”. Tom McCallum
****************************************************************

                                          Like Stars a Mystery

Gazing at stars on a clear moonless night
Is to the eye and the mind a delight
So unique and so singular they are,
                                 So mysterious, many miles afar;
Like stars, each man remains a mystery
Despite all strides in human history.

Lauren

Each day I wake up feeling weak
No strength to smile, No strength to speak

I want so much to get away
But these three words I need to say

I think about you day and night
And in my world you are the light

I lay in bed at night and dream
Of the greatest gift, of the brightest beam

A light so bright and golden shining
A star of love, a silver lining

But I’m so scared of what you’ll say
I fear and dread that future day

Round and round my mind does it stew
That above all else, I love you.

With you in my life I’d be content
This angle of love that God hath sent

I need to put my point across
That without you I have such loss

No matter what you do or say
I will love you from this day.

Burden

And now the time is here for me
To say my last goodbyes
Buy you shouldn’t grieve or feel a loss
For shortly, I will rise

I lay here in my hospital bed
So frail, and oh so weak
No energy to carry on
No strength left so to speak

These final, crucial hours,
The ones we spent together
Will stay in the place where they belong
That’s in my heart forever

Don’t cry for me, Don’t sob for me
Don’t walk away in fear
The time has come for me to go,
Now please don’t shed a tear

If you should come and kiss my hand
Please make it last this time
For no matter how much we pray and wish
I’ve been defeated by this crime.

Loyalty

Even though our lives are changing
Even though the world’s so cruel
My love for you is still so strong
You know I play no fool

No matter what should happen
In this evil place
You will always have me
My heart, my soul, my face

Baby we have come
A long way since the start
And you know we’ll go further
We’ll never fall apart

You’re my guardian angel
And you’re my whole true heart
If friendship was a staged play
You’d always get the part

Sometimes I don’t’ treat you
How I really should
But I would change this instantly
If I only could

One day you will leave me
And live your life alone
But I will always be here
Anxiously at home

You will always be
My heroine, my star
No matter where you venture to
Whether near of far

I will be forever waiting
For your prestige return
I’ll keep a candle lit for you
Each day and night I’ll yearn

A Race For Life

A Race for Life

We’ve been faced with a time bomb
We’ve been faced with this crime
We need to act and quickly
We’re running out of time

Millions of people dying
Of this illness every year
A world wide epidemic
Affecting the far and near

Do you really understand
How serious it Can be?
It’s killing all our people
It could be you or me

So much money spent each year
Just trying to find a cure
We’ll not admit defeat
That I know for sure

It’s just another burden
Of which we have to face
Just taking over our world
Destroying the human race

But we will not be beaten
Nor give up strength or hope
No matter what will show up
With what we have to cope

We have a war to fight
In each and every nation
One day we will sing with pride
In massive celebration
