Burden

And now the time is here for me To say my last goodbyes Buy you shouldn’t grieve or feel a loss For shortly, I will rise I lay here in my hospital bed So frail, and oh so weak No energy to carry on No strength left so to speak These final, crucial hours, The ones we spent together Will stay in the place where they belong That’s in my heart forever Don’t cry for me, Don’t sob for me Don’t walk away in fear The time has come for me to go, Now please don’t shed a tear If you should come and kiss my hand Please make it last this time For no matter how much we pray and wish I’ve been defeated by this crime. - Jordan McCallum -
