Limerick: Once a Maneater who ne’er said “No!”

Once a woman who could ne’er say “No!”
Met Ascetic: “Why?” he wanted to know.
Said she: “I’m no Vegan;
Meat I munch by the dozen.”
Priapic rigor mortis ensued: O! Woe!

You are the abyss,
Pulling me in with your undiscovered charm,
Flaunting your mystery,
Your will to disarm,
I know nothing good lurks within,
But it seems so much more than where I’ve been.

Imposing. The largest
Wild cat of them all
Untamed. Fierce. Stealthy
Ambush assassins on the prowl
Leaping onto prey
With lightning speed
Killing without mercy
Using its large canine teeth
To rip off a sizeable chunk
Of flesh, and to crush bones
This mammoth cat is no vegetarian
Using those razor-sharp retractable claws
To seize and hold an unfortunate prey
Ambush assassins on the prowl
Native to South Asia
This is also a maneater
This is the Bengal Tiger

Pantheress on the Prowl
She stalks her prey like a pantheress
on the prowl, confident and self-assured as
she glides into the room. She’s squeezed
into a low cut, body hugging, ruby
red satin wiggle dress, wearing silky black
stockings and patent leather stilettos, exuding unbridled
sensuality, the epitome of sexuality and desirability…
she stalks her prey like a pantheress.

My afterthoughts were right all along
Too slow; you were way too slow to realize
Pride comes after a fall as it does before
Ha! Look at you now
Look up at me now and keep begging
