Magnificent marauders masquerading magically might mean
Messy mollusks masticate marbled marigolds momentarily.
Maybe.
Moreover, momentous mosquitoes might make marvelous mini-muffins mixing marmalade momentarily.
Meanwhile
Minnie made monthly memories merely medicating masses
Mediocre men mysteriously manufactured man-made missals
Might mean
Millionaires mystify magical muggles’ meager melodies making
Magnifying, mollifying mortifying mind-blowing majestic missives.
Moreover,
Mummies, mammograms, mushrooms, minks, musicians,
Models, maestros, minions, muskrats, merry men
May
Momentarily medicate marvelously magnificent marauders.
Meanwhile
Mary May memorize multiplication minimizing
Mark’s Mother’s marmalade mini-muffin memory.
M might make momentous mountain-mincing molehill.

On Thursday my boobies will get squashed
(My armpits will be thoroughly washed)
Can’t use deo or spray
so I’ll whiff on that day
Mammograms show cancer can be quashed
Always makes me smile that my appointment letter comes from Bristol because in cockney rhyming slang ‘Bristols’ is slang for breasts.

My poor right boob, has rainbow colours
After a biopsy the doctors had to do
I’m still in pain, but there’s no weeping
I yearn for sleeping
As dreamers do
Sadly for me I can’t get closure
Until my surgery in January
They cannot confirm, if I’ve got cancer
So I await the answer
But I don't feel blue
My poor bruised boobie is
Red and yellow and purple and green and blue and pink and black and painful!!
Ouch!

You may have noticed I’ve not been so active on soup recently…
Last week I had to have 10 mammograms (ouch x10), which detected a mass, and the next day i underwent a vacuum biopsy, (ouch times a million lol) a week later and the results are inconclusive so I need surgery in January to remove the lump and then I can finally get closure… the waiting is the worst part!

Squashed like two pancakes
Mammograms detect cancer
Please kiss me better

Mammograms
are an intrusive
physical ordeal that
set anxieties on overdrive
so on follow-up visit
a genuine smile's
a good sign.

Payments on my credit card and rent are always due.
Power, water, gas, and those horrendous phone bills too.
Borrowed books I’ve not yet read soon are coming due.
Maybe I can find some time to read them in the loo.
Also it’s that time of year when all of us are due
for a visit to a store with cheap shots for the flu!
My mammograms and dental visits are LONG overdue.
I cannot afford them yet. What’s a girl to do?
And Mr. Doctor, why must I wait so long just for you?
I think some respect for me, your patient, sure is due!
Thinking of the money from my savings I withdrew
just to make it through this year has really made me blue.
Gee, if I could have one wish and have that wish come true,
I would wish to live my life as one big well-to-do!
But there’s one thing that’s NOT due for which I need not stew.
Thank goodness that I’m too old now to have a baby due!

The other fun things I love having include:Heart Failure, skin infections, painful
umbilical hernia, heat stroke, gastritous, anemia, anxiety, high blood pressure,
dental pain unreal!, chronic nausea...and a few others to boot...I have been in
every hospital on Long Island, all the ambulance crews and cops know me, I am
now repeating that accomplishment here, with Vassar, Saint Francis having me
for many multiple visits....I have "shrinks", nurses, counselors here every week,
as well as case managers, etc. I have spent days at social security and other
places, with cat scans, dog scans, x-rays, Y-rays, Purple haze, Billy Mays,
scanned with an etch-a -sketch, soon I'll fetch...mammograms, head scans (they
found nothing), sun tans, marching bands, clapping hands, taxi stands, proded
glands, IQ plans, no-man lands, soda cans, clinic lands, and much more, what
ever they can...z. My meds come next, but such a long list, I need a rest....so take
a break, I've yet to begin to jest...
