Thank God I have a Brother!
He fixes up the truck,
I sometimes give him money,
Whenever he gets stuck.
(Not just for up and fixin’
The truck – not what I mean
‘f I tried, he wouldn’t take it)
It’s just that times ‘re lean.
His poor bald head works harder,
Than any I have known!
For he rides an old lawnmower,
And not a horse or throne!
He goes and helps the neighbors,
He will not take a cent,
(‘Course, he could make a killing,
That’s just not how he’s bent!)
Thank God I have a Brother,
Whose Kindness lifted me,
When I was drenched in sorrow,
And couldn’t hardly see.
He gripped me through the funeral,
Around the shoulders, hard,
And now, he’s lost his stepdad,
Who helped him in the yard,
Who told him ‘Mighty Fine’, and
Who loved, and sat a spell,
And stayed in the garage shop,
And cared that he was well.
So, now, he has a Brother,
Who’ll stand up, when he’s stuck,
And hold him by the shoulder,
And help him fix the truck.
his final journey
in a huge black limousine
death comes to us all
the funeral cost
he won’t have to pay the bill ...
grieving relatives!!!!!!
I know the florists
make a 'killing' out of death
no wreathes when I'm gone!
I don’t want any
floral tributes when I die
give me flowers now!
I would much prefer
charitable donations
Hospice benefit!

I’ve never been to war
or claimed the old kings shilling.
Though born and bred to Army life
I knew the need for killing.
The civi’ kids thought those like me,
were gypsies in their town,
but quickly found how hard it was
to try to knock us down.
The discipline we had at home
meant nothing could compare,
we learn to duck and dive a bit
when trouble’s in the air.
Never caught, escape, evade,
let others take the blame,
the lesson learned by everyone
who played our army game.
Some say it’s tough to move about
stability unsure.
But you learn to make a killing
before others know its war!
Security and stable home
deprives one of the fun
of knowing when to stand and fight
or choose the time to run.
It doesn’t show to look at us,
……our natures hid away,
but lessons learned in growing up
forever with us stay.
An Army brat, who knew the way
to win by any means.
Be careful all civilians sprogs
things aren’t like what it seems…………..

I don't need a special day to dedicate my love to you
a dozen roses, rose petals, a box of chocolates
that come in a heart shape box of metal
because you are my dedication,
you're my celebration my special occasion.
I don't need a pocket full of paper
jewelry, necklaces, or diamond pendants to give you
as long as I got you I'm cooler than the
other side of the pillow and
when my heart was crying out for love
you came outta nowhere and showed
me you are my secret window
and I am your everything
your friend, your lover, that feeling
you get inside when I hold you
and your body shudders.
I gotta be the one you hold
and I'm so into you
I think myself without you
and honestly I wouldn't know what to do
you give me that everlasting feeling
and even if I make a killing a couple hundred
thousand or even sumthin in the millions
it would mean nothin without you to spend it with me.
I see myself fallin for you and
my feelings for you are so emotionally tangled
but I thank God for you because honestly
he couldn't have blessed me with
a better angel.
