Special Occasion

I don't need a special day to dedicate my love to you
a dozen roses, rose petals, a box of chocolates
that come in a heart shape box of metal
because you are my dedication,
you're my celebration my special occasion.

I don't need a pocket full of paper
jewelry, necklaces, or diamond pendants to give you
as long as I got you I'm cooler than the
other side of the pillow and
when my heart was crying out for love
you came outta nowhere and showed
me you are my secret window
and I am your everything
your friend, your lover, that feeling
you get inside when I hold you
and your body shudders.

I gotta be the one you hold
and I'm so into you
I think myself without you
and honestly I wouldn't know what to do
you give me that everlasting feeling
and even if I make a killing a couple hundred
thousand or even sumthin in the millions
it would mean nothin without you to spend it with me.

I see myself fallin for you and
my feelings for you are so emotionally tangled
but I thank God for you because honestly
he couldn't have blessed me with
a better angel.
