Premium Member The Look-out

Dare a blade of glass stir
       ‘neath his eagle eye
or a leaf from a tree silent
        take to the sky

     A rustle of undergrowth
        arouses his concern
from signs such as this one
        the look-out will learn

     what the enemy’s planning
        from where it is coming
     another night at his post
        ~ displaying his cunning

look out the window

i look out the window
everything is beautiful
noting compares to this
the world around me
the smiles that can not be measured
i feel unsure
but i walk out
that made sense
that felt right

Premium Member Look Out on Halloween!

Be sure to look out
on Halloween Night.
For around every corner
is a scare and a fright.
Something rustling
in the bushes.
Something quivering
in the trees.
Something flying
overhead.
Something floating
in the breeze.
Something howling
in the forest.
Something rapping
on your door.
Something calling
out your name.
Something walking
'cross the floor.
Something looking
through your window.
Something creeping
up the stairs.
Something tapping
on your shoulder.
It's a night of
frights and scares.

Premium Member Look Out

Big Bertha wore a custom-made silk bra
When hubby first saw her, he was in awe
                 On their very first date,
He was in a dazed state
She decked him with one huge boob in the jaw

Cracks of Light To Look Out

All shut
When we find doors
And there’s no new recourse,
We try cracks of light to look out
And go.

Joe was waiting, a'biden his time he needed
A vegetable? well almost' He was checking out
Different kinds, a man name of 'guido calabrese'
Looked a good option? if you please '
A blue ribbon judgement, to be offered to him
To get Hunter in Yale, he would have to sin!
All evidence would be kept safe, so to say'
The right combination, then hold and sway !
When it was sorted, all said and done.
Though hunter raised hell' he was his son!
Yes he snorted and courted, disaster; angst'
Yet their master was not to be stood up against
On the horns of dilemmas, opportunitys grew'
joe had ridden so many, more than he knew.
Oh so useful to have emergencies near
You could control coerce, instilling fear!
Division was sweet.! Indeed it was key
Just hold all the cards, and he'd stay
Scott tree !

Needs just must when the devil does drive

Premium Member Look Out For Brunettes

It is those brunettes you must look out for Jim warned Sam
Sam did not listen; he was totally smitten
Ate at the Honky-tonk Diner daily
To get a whiff of Miranda.

She smelled better than his grandma’s lap from when he was four,
Better than his mother’s bubble bath he remembered.
She exuded a magical mystical fragrance
Ivory Soap? Avon's Sweet Honesty from the seventies?

It did not matter. She was wholesome and pretty.
Her hair shone like a campfire in the sunlight.
He like Honky-tonk burgers, but he was here for her.
Jim rolled his eyes.

She’s dangerous, he warned him. “Sure, she looks safe, but….
Hey! Who is that?” Apparently, there was a new waitress.
Another auburn headed delight, she looked like a girl next door,
They were both in trouble now.

Look In, Look Out

i look in
they all love me
i’m surrounded by hopes and dreams
all gathered there on the screen
they all look so happy

i look out
the sky is blue
it’s a sunny day, a lovely view
i wonder if they were here
would they be happy?

looking back down
the window into a world that doesn’t exist
and they walk out of frame, into the swirling mist
if they could be here with me
would we be happy?

I am told i am adored
empty words upon deaf ears.
because sometimes
it feels like those who know me truly
are stuck behind a screen
pixels of people who don’t exist.
i can never be with them.
so without them
with only what i have outside
can i be happy?

Look Out For Love

I used to think
That love was just a silly game
Played by fools
Who didn’t know the rules
For living

But now I know better
For love can come from anywhere
You won’t even know it’s there....
Till you find it in your heart
And It’s tearing you apart
So brother you better beware

Love can catch you
No matter how hard you try
You just can’t fight it
Or hide what you feel inside
Love’ll make you wonder
And turn your world around
So look out for love
You better look out for love

I wasn’t looking
So it caught me by suprise
The feeling that hit me
When I looked into your eyes
Now I wanna hold ya
And caress you tenderly
But if you stand any closer
I will fall endlessly

Gotta find a way to tell you
What you’ve done to me
Every time I close my eyes
It’s your lovely face I see

I imagine
Getting to know you so much better
Girl I know we should be together
I can’t bear to be apart
So listen to your heart
And let me give you what you’re missing

Look Out

With eyes wide open,
it is easy to be blind to the transgressions that aid our rise,
as we tread purposefully on a sea of souls to reach our lofty goals,
eyes closed to fully see the dream this life may one day be.

Look Out

I look out
Before me I see
Life and death
Locked in endless fight
Fences and borders
Making lines
Who is in
Who locked out
Good and bad
Endless race
Green fights brown
Above and below
Poison’s against life
An endless fight
Is there hope
One day to be
Peace before me
Is I’ll see

Look Out

Everything is changing fast
In the space of clicks and likes
Mind control in overdrive
Your hits and views and strikes

Beware of what you put about
Giving far too much for free
They’re cyber tracking all opinions
We are their targets you and me

Tailor making food for thought
Pokes and nudges made to measure
Helping you to see their way
They have the low down on your leisure

Where you are and who you’re with
What is on your selfie plate
Your essentials prone’s and partials
Mesmerised in dreamlike state

Puffing up your self important need
To be something else among the crowd
Chasing fame to leave you stripped and lame
Whilst others watch and laugh out loud

Those clever minded psychopaths
Have a thirst to lay you bare
To steal your wish to feed their dish
And leave you desperate in despair

Premium Member Back Up, Look Out

A whiner tried to live with me.
A pouter tried to live with me.
Drama queen tried to live with me.

I could not do it.
I would not do it.
I completely and utterly should not do it.

I’m not the type who rants and raves.
I’m not the type who gives or caves.
I’m the one who hates high drama.
I’ll be glad to send you packing back to your mama.

Cannot put up with fuss and kick.
Or those who pretend to be sick.
So stay away, back up, look out.
I do not put up with stomping, or people who pout.

Look Out

LOOK OUT

Look out I say, look out must beware, mindful must I repeat myself...no not so

Look Out
Be most cautious, alert, steadfast, attentive, steadfast

Look Out
No regrets, misunderstandings are maybe so..

Look Out
Inquire again look out stop your foolishness. Wow you didn't see it coming did you?

Look Out
Single ladies unattached dis-engaged, perhaps nonselective,
casual or just careless.
What is your objectives are would it be foolish to ask?

                                              LOOK OUT
