The Tree of Life

A warm apple night,
moonlit tunes sprinkle around us
like snowflakes in July.
I collect them with open pulms:
silly dances, smiling eyes,
tightened arms when time felt too fast—

in the fabric of cider air.

The city wore coal dust, but
he smelt of cut grass and
noon lake so serene—

I dreamt of bluebirds from the west
eager for new water.
Green leaves as tonsils, for our
eternal midsummer.

Lonely Man

Is there no match, no pair
for a lonely man?
Don't misunderstand him,
he doesn't long for a lover...
He wants a friend! Is that too much to ask?
A friend that might be his wife someday?

Someone who could be akin
as similar as a long-lost twin
Someone like him?

Is there no such kindred spirit
who will reciprocate love?
Inform him if there is no
lifelong soul mate for him,
for he wouldn't want to desire
what he may not have.

The Murmuration

l saw her by the edge of the burnt mossy wall
and she was watching high above, over forests so tall
then as the dusk gathered starlings, that danced in the melting sun
it was the breathless display, and mesmerising begun

in the last Autumn rays, that painted threads through the trees
like the strands in her hair that stroked again in the breeze
and their dance was perfection as she watched murmuration
and their velvet display was their beautiful creation

gently the stars said hello, as the white moon glimpsed below
and her slowly wrapped dreams, she sent of her kisses he'd know
and they went drifting slow like the gossamer clouds
and her love for him soft, like the starling, a glow

still her eyes searched afar, over the bracken filled glens
as she looked for his face and his smile and his arms to embrace
and never gave up hope, as she waited each night
and she watched starlings call , over mossy green wall

the dance of the starlings is a sight to behold
like a true love is precious , more precious
than gold.

Ode to Him

Ruffles of sand that flash before my eyes in every waking moment
Oceans of blue that briefly lift and meet mine
My plain, brown eyes, that would blend in the mud
And my clothes that never lose the scent of pine
Versus his hoodies and the gold chain that hangs around his neck
Or the glasses that come and go upon his nose,
His brain, or the fact he shares a name
With the boy who hurt me the most.
When I stand surrounded, I look for him
Watching the door, hoping to see his hesitant gait
And the way he shoves his hands in his pockets
Seemingly content to stop, watch, and wait.
When the day fades to night, and the crickets cease to chirp
It’s him who haunts me when I lie awake in bed
Replaying each little interaction
And regretting the things that i never said.
Every corner of my mind stays aware
Of how fragile our tether will be
If I allow myself to stare into those oceans of blue
A single wave would wash us out to sea.
So silent I sit whenever he comes around
The fear that I keep protects my fractured heart
Injured, but not quite broken
By a love that didn’t start.

Tired, yet yours

I'm so TIRED of missing you—
Too tired of thinking about you;
I keep myself busy throughout the day—
Yet —You never fade away.

Like blood —You flow within my VEINS,
With every breath; Your love remains.

You're not a Nightmare —I wish to forget,
But a beautiful dream I want to relive;
A love so deep my heart can ONLY give.

                                                     —Beloved
I Breathe You every day My Dear ;
And draw You into My Soul~

Blurred Edges of Us

I still think of that day,
rain pitter-pattered gently around us,
clouds were the color of gravel.

Your smile broke through shadows,
and our laughter mingled like gold.

Paint splattered against a canvas-
that's what we were.

Unpredictability. Chaos. Adoration.

Does any of it make sense?

Does it not make you want to crawl out of your skin and sink into the what if?

i think about you not thinking about me

i cannot hide that i still think of you
a short romance you felt, but did not understand
you tell everyone what you never told me
ignoring what you did
hearing what you said
in those desperate attempts to wrap it all up into words
you trapped us
writing it off as confusion
forcing a conclusion
but I know it was there

A Damsel In Distress

The click of the lock
The turn of the key
My palm on his cock
The moan of our kiss

I heard the fall of his belt on the floor
For a moment I forgot I am poor
"This is why you are my favorite"
He said as he sank into me in the dead of the night

For him, it was a passionless adventure of just cooling off
For me, it was an anticipated emotional and passionate adventure not just for cooling off

I am not an Operating System
But he saved my number as OS-3
How do I make him understand
I no longer want to be seen as an Oloso by him?

Premium MemberI Will Love Him Forever

I never want to give up on my twin soul lover.
I will always long to be with him forever.
I am not sure when we will truly be together.
I often wish someone can give me an answer.

I only know I love him as a significant other.
I am always left waiting, feeling so unsure.
I wish I stayed pure in all the ways that matter.
I only know we're learning how to love each other.

I am realizing now that I want to do better.
I want to prove to him I am worthier than her.
I love him no matter how his past makes me feel bitter.
I am learning how to free myself from my own tether.

I will wait for him, even for up to a decade later.
I see the rift between us that once made us differ.
I am smoothing things out like the rapids of a river.
I know someday our separation will be over.

Casual

From close to distant, we drifted away,
A smile once warm feels foreign today.
Like strangers again, we awkwardly greet,
Casual glances where my heart used to beat.
It’s strange to think somebody so near,
Could vanish like clouds and simply disappear.
I know I’m to blame for the things that went wrong,
But what’s in the past can’t change with a song.
I’m sorry I struggled with communication,
I’m not like others, skilled in conversation.
I wish I were better at knowing what to say,
I could have pulled you close instead of pushing away.
In the end, I think it’s better this way,
We greet, we nod, then silently walk away.
Though time may pass, the memories still play,
It feels like ages, though it was just months away.

Unchartered territory

I know my World,
Perhaps not your own.
Never will I assume we are in the same planet.
Though I know we are on Earth,
But, you may be a Queen of Mecury,
And I may be a little princess of Venus.

Hence, I am rewinding my steps.
Take enough oxygen,
I want you to breathe.
I sure know that a fish CAN'T breath out of water
Nor could a bird swim under water.

But, tell you what
I am that fish and i'm still learning
how to catch my breathe iin a foreign land.
I am no PRO in the game,
And this should put you at ease.

They say time flies,
But I say no need to rush.
One step at a time.
In my heart I know,
This is what you want.
And it is what I want too.

I wanna know you behind the shades,
Under the rain,
I wanna know you happy or sad
I wanna see you diving in and out of mud puzzles
And perhaps give you a hand if you need it.

I wanna see you in Clifton beach glittered with a smile,
And I wanna be the reason behind it.
I wanna have a gulp of your creamy cup,
And I want you to have a refill from mine if you wanna

Premium MemberPent In A Penthouse

He tried
but for him
speech did not
come easily,

the parrot had a stutter

starting with a sputter --

tripped over

every third word

sounding quite absurd

the clipped-wing bird;

his flight, as well,
a jump and a fell --
a monumental flop,

every spring
followed by a plop...

and Boots, the penthouse cat
a bit of a louse
absent a mouse
terrorizes Carrot~ the penthouse
parrot --

poor Boots, dreams of woods
feline hunts and captures
kept from the wild
chooses poor Carrot
for his daily, stalking raptures --

Hunger for his love.
Need to be freed from this lust.
Desire for him grows.
Oh he knows, deep down he knows,
She hungers for his desire.
