Premium Member I Like My Sundays Funny

I like to laugh on Tuesday's.The music says That's Cool. No fooling, I do magic. I disappear on cue. You got reason for your witness. The stands not best at night. It's heavy and they're hurting. Yes, people cry, That's Right. No sight, you'll see me Silly. It's line, past times So fine. It's ticking for a Reason. With heart's that beat like mine. Do the math, it’s easy. The wrongs line up so fast. But you and me are sneezy. So, don’t ever laugh in class. My ass, this sling ain’t Slinky. It's down to curbs and cost. The lost all here before us. The must is not ‘Who's Boss’. “Oh Dear”, the end is scary. Yet Heaven and Hell just stare. It's up and us already. Then Friday says “We're There!” I like my Sunday Funnies. Yet Monday's not a treat. My French ain't good on Tuesday. My Fries are good to eat. Then Thursday says “We're Coming, the wear with Where Will We Meet? My Point the Way has Arrows. Go green, it's still a No. The show me up ain’t funny. Your nose is runny, so. Let's play “Hide the Heartache!”. My tooth is very dear. Yet Take Me Out has tethered talks not very clear. So please excuse my pastime. My rhymes has Pass Me "Bye".The Sunday Funny’s are here to share. You have no reason to cry.

Premium Member Cul-De-Sac

the good

The doors to my mind and heart
circle as revolving doors.
A peek inside and you see
happy memories and joyous events,
the loves, and lifelong friendships

A cul-de-sac, though a dead end,
has a circular finish, a merry-go-round
that accumulates happiness as it spins
into a cloud of beauty and nature,
compassion, gods, and faith.

The breathless moments in life,
birth, newness, novelty, exuberance
in being, living, experiencing
laughter, butterflies, and springtime
within my soul, my gratitude.

	the bad

The doors to my mind and heart
circle as revolving doors.
A peek inside and you see
the pocks of the years that came
to leave their soured, sadistic truths.

So, like a cul-de-sac you may enter
but the exit is the same as you came.
A Ferris wheel, past the highs and lows
of lost hopes, of murky dreams that end
with more questions than I will answer…

A dead end with death as the prize
for endless dreary days and noxious nights
of sorrow, sadness, misery, and grief
with no hope, no desire, no ambition
faith gone and forgone, abortive.

	the ugly

The doors to my mind and heart
circle as revolving doors.
A peek inside and you see
the sear of anger and revenge
spiraling apocalyptically.

The cul-de-sac where giant wind turbines
turn and churn and gnaw at my insides
generating incompressible turbulence
that amasses until it ruptures, spewing
rage and outrage that I will honor…

In and out, inescapable, dead
like my heart, my soul black as coal,
seeking retribution for perceived
wrongs against me, ill-timed and
sanguinary persecution.

My Lifes Song

I wish sometimes that i could go back in time just so i could rewrite all my wrongs change all
the things that are now gone change the way i wrote my lifes song siting here now wondering
how things could go so wrong how could i let this happen is it really all my fault that your
gone did i not care enough when they handed me that paper did i not think it through did i
not do everything i had to just to keep you here with me when i signed on that line did i
throw our lives away was i just to blind to see the truth behind all the lies why couldn't i just
open up my eyes just enough to realize what they done to us they tore us apart ripped my
heart right out left me here sad and alone with this pain that will never go away tears fall
from my eyes almost everyday i cry just siting here trying to figure out why things had to
turn
out like this why it had to be me that is the one who is losing out when the only thing i ever
wanted was to be there and watch you grow up

Hell Embraced

He wonders when it happened, when it was it seemed he fell.
He fell in love with darkness, he fell in love with hell.
He started loving whiskey and he loved his Friday nights.
He hated Sunday mornings, he loved those bar room fights.

He loved the taste of cigarettes and he loved his cheap cologne.
He learned to love the night life but he hated life alone.
He loved to feel the hunger and he loved to feel the burn.
He hated her for teaching him things he never wished to learn.

He loved his friends and family his love for them was strong.
Until the day they turned away the day they did him wrong.
That's the day it happened that's the moment that he fell.
He wrapped his arms around it and he embraced his hell.

They danced like there's no tomorrow long past the light of day.
They danced like no one's watching, they danced his life away.
But then came the moment he knew he slipped off track.
He stood to face the devil and then he took his life back.

He's forgiven those that hurt him he's forgiven all their wrongs.
He started writing poetry, he started writing songs.
He tells it on the mountains he admits he lost control.
He tells the world his message he bares to them his soul.

He speaks against injustice, he cries out for the weak.
He sings songs the deaf can hear the voice of those who cannot speak.
He no longer loves the darkness he stays home on Friday nights.
He loves his Sunday mornings he stays away from bar room fights.

He still smokes his cigarettes and wears his cheap cologne.
He avoids the night life and he hates life alone.
He found a brand new hunger and he feels a different burn.
He tells his own life story telling all he came to learn.

Premium Member I Am Called Woman

Sometimes, I find myself on a battleground
in the present or in sieges from the distant past
It may be a war I've been waging within myself,
a thorn that needs plucking so that I might heal
I wear no crown, nor do I wish to be gowned
in regal robes and sit upon a throne looking down
on anyone. For me, those things hold no appeal
I am rebellious against the many wrongs I've seen
and if you think it's mean of me to feel that way—
You don't know me well enough to pass judgement

With regret, I've been the cause of an Angel's weeping
when down a misguided path I chose to walk
Mistakes? I've made my share of them, maybe more
but I've always tried to amend my faults in some way
Indemnity is not always reimbursed with coin
More often than not, my tears the price to pay

Sometimes, even I have not found the sentience of it—
things I do; emotions I feel. No reason as to why except
that I am compelled without restraint or prudence to try
I refute the need to live by the creed of the golden rule—
for only a fool would claim the world is a righteous place
where smug faces play fair in games of love and war

If I am defeated, I never hesitate to stand again
for I've always despised the thought of white flags
and retreating like a coward again and again, in sad refrain
I garner resilience and strength from every enemy I meet
and in defeat, my stratagem sharpens much keener
I am not a warrior; that's not the path I want to take
I've been storm tossed in seas of turbulent weather
When faced with animosity, I will not shiver and quake
Offered silk or suit of armor— I prefer a softer demeanor

Self-professed I am supple of breast
       Heart not crafted from leather
           From flesh, blood and bone
              Of the gender called woman
I was not chiseled from stone

I look in the reflection of life's waters
   Six ways to one.
I do not wish to misrepresent
Any opion of perception on spirit
    Regardless the self decepted order
   Taught from

The one truth is never said
The paths vary in length and sights
But at the end we will sleep in same bed
Their is no wrong unless the truth is
    The center which it revolves

    All religion based on one
    All wrongs based on right
We all warm from same sun
    And worship one light

It is those who claim to be righteous
    Body's not vessels of righteousness
That bring pride and greed and hate
    But judging others chosen belief

Words are from I spoken over n over again
Not the mind of the vessel
   Only some can solve riddles
This does not mean the rest are defrauded
  Souled

Premium Member Fools Allow Fools To Rule

Does humanity ever change?
He deceives the people; claims he is a king.
Hang him on a cross would be just the thing.
They do not confess the truth of the church.
Burn them at the stake or worse.
Make them wear an arm band.
Then gas them throughout the land.
They are enemies of the state.
Thus, the gulags they create.
They do not comply with the revolution.
Eliminate them is the one solution.
Ban a book, delete an account,
Silence voices of decent.
Only allow majority assent.
For a man can only speak, what a man can think.
In these current days and times,
Government and media have combined,
To assault the language; thus, our minds.
Control the language, control the mind.
For man can only speak, what a man can think.
Folks let fear take them over.
Succumbing to popular notions;
Believing they provide protections;
Blinded by cowardly inventions.
Forgetting all of histories lessons,
Regarding dangerous insurrections,
Claimed by men seeking self-elevation.
Yet, there is no way to gage the power;
Of one man unwilling to cower.
Who stands up strong at the fateful hour;
Resisting wrongs of a throng’s clamor.
For a man can truly speak, when a man can think.

They Fooled Around

You were gone
They fooled around
Your feelings were hurt
When the truth you found
After all he had your heart
And you thought she was your best friend
They both knew this from the start
You tried to forgive
But you couldn’t forget
He was the first to come clean
Said what he did he regret
But that doesn’t make it hurt any less
Still with him you try and work things out
Trying to hide the fact it's still killing you inside
But you truly love him, there's no doubt
Willing to admit you've both made mistakes
Although two wrongs don't make a right
And you were betrayed in the worst of ways
Still for him you want to fight
Not ready to let go of what you two have
But with her you've cut all ties
Not because of what she did with him
But to your face still she tells nothing but lies
Tell me the truth and you will see
I'll find in me to let it all go
But whatever you do, don't lie to me
Cuz that right there is an all-time low
And now I can't get this out of my head
Watching him lay there fast asleep
I had to get out of bed
4:30am is the time
And lying in bed all I could think about
Was this rhyme
So here it is
Now you know just how I feel
Had to get it all out somehow
Maybe now I can find a way to heal
But for now I think that's enough
About this I've said all I can say
And writing about it was rough
But it was something I needed to do
Didn't know who else to turn to
So I decided I'll tell you
About how they fooled around!!

My Slang of My Past

MY SLANG OF MY PAST
                                                 ---------

IT WAS MY MEMORIES OF MY CHILDHOOD
WHERE I'VE SPENT THE DAYS WITH JOY
NOTHING WAS WRONG AT THOSE MOMENTS
I FLEW ON THE SKY WITHOUT WINGS

MY DAD AND MOM ARE MY SWEET ENEMIES
WHO CARRIED ME IN THEIR EYES
    THOUGH THEIR LOVE IS GREAT
THAT RESTRICTION WAS A BARRIER TO MY HAPPIES

MYSELF AND JANU PLAYED ON ROADS
    BY ROLLING OURSELVES ON ROADS
I MIGHT BE COMMITED MANY WRONGS
ALL OF THEM WERE FORGIVEN BY MY BELOVED

    THE DAYS OF THAT PAST
WHICH WERE PARADISE OF MY CHILD HOOD
    WILL THEY COME ONCE AGAIN?
    TO ENJOY THE CHILDHOOD SLANG

Observe and see how pain can squeeze,
Urge hope to sum the way of joy;
Rouse faith and be as light as breeze.
Taste fond outcomes with lovely ploys,
Rise to the times when hate hurls fear;
Yield to each loss the strains of pain,
Inch by inch chime with poignant cheer;
Note wrongs that toss sad affairs plain,
Glimpses of peace bless and surround.
Thrill love's mantra with soul that knows,
Indulge heart ease upon these grounds;
Mind seeds quanta of healthy flow,
Embrace goodwill in trying times,
Sense love that heals despite harsh rhymes.
