Fools Allow Fools To Rule

Does humanity ever change?
He deceives the people; claims he is a king.
Hang him on a cross would be just the thing.
They do not confess the truth of the church.
Burn them at the stake or worse.
Make them wear an arm band.
Then gas them throughout the land.
They are enemies of the state.
Thus, the gulags they create.
They do not comply with the revolution.
Eliminate them is the one solution.
Ban a book, delete an account,
Silence voices of decent.
Only allow majority assent.
For a man can only speak, what a man can think.
In these current days and times,
Government and media have combined,
To assault the language; thus, our minds.
Control the language, control the mind.
For man can only speak, what a man can think.
Folks let fear take them over.
Succumbing to popular notions;
Believing they provide protections;
Blinded by cowardly inventions.
Forgetting all of histories lessons,
Regarding dangerous insurrections,
Claimed by men seeking self-elevation.
Yet, there is no way to gage the power;
Of one man unwilling to cower.
Who stands up strong at the fateful hour;
Resisting wrongs of a throng’s clamor.
For a man can truly speak, when a man can think.

You are right on the nose again, my friend: Speech-control leads to thought-control, and after a bit, they each feed off of the other --- resulting in people who cannot think for themselves at all, and will vote in utter fools (like J.B. and K.H., or megalomaniacs like Mr. Kim, Mr. Xi, and Mr. Putin). What's playing out today is a greater tragedy than any Shakespearean production, methinks. Take good care, Gershon
