Premium Member A Different Kind of Kintsukuroi

I am broken
there is no one
to pick up the pieces
no one to melt the gold
to let it flow
and bind the pieces
to make me whole

KINTSUKUROI

it is nothing but a lie
broken, I die
I pull the pieces of me
the shards cut
I bleed
my tears mix with the earth
I try to form clay
piece by piece
I make them stick
blood, tears, saliva mix
the liquid of pain
my only gain...

I stand
insecure
the clay will not hold
I topple
I fall down
Crash to the ground
More pieces than before

No gold to bind
for "nothing gold can stay"

Then you come along.....
you are the LIGHT
Magnificent, bright!
I close my eyes
as I feel myself being lifted
lifted...higher and higher
lifted....
gently
tenderly
lifted
you are the center
the core
you encase yourself
with all the pieces
the pieces of me
you build me around you
the pieces come closer
closer
but never touch
broken
I remain broken
broken enough
for your light to shine on through....

My kintsukuroi

IS YOU!!!

Don'T Forget Your Dreams

Don't Forget Your Dreams"

(Verse 1)
I get up everyday
And thank the Lord above
For granting me another day
With his unconditional love
Put on my clothes
Trying to get dressed
Put my game face on
Got to impress
My coworker, my peers
People that I ain't saw in years
Pulling doubles all week (week)
I'm a go-getter
Stay on my feet
Working each and everyday
Barely have time for me
I know how it looks & how it seems
Regardless of what don't forget your dreams

(Chorus)
Don't forget that you have dreams
You don't have to settle , for anything
Working 9-5's everyday
What is it that you really display
No matter how hard it seems
Never ever forget about your dreams

(Verse 2)
Good job is what your boss say
You know what your capable of anyway
You work hard Everytime you hit the clock
When it's time to check out
That's when you stop(stop)
You have a gift and a talent
People see it in you
They just can't handle it
That you have bigger dreams
You can accomplish anything
People get jealous
Because they lost their inner
Got to start back over
Like a beginner

(Chorus)
Don't forget that you have dreams
You don't have to settle , for anything
Working 9-5's everyday
What is it that you really display
No matter how hard it seems
Never ever forget about your dreams

(Hook)
Don't stop, til you reach the top
Even when you get there
Still climb, don't leave your dreams behind
Don't stop, til you reach the top
Even when you get there
Still climb, don't leave your dreams behind

(Chorus)
Don't forget that you have dreams
You don't have to settle , for anything
Working 9-5's everyday
What is it that you really display
No matter how hard it seems
Never ever forget about your dreams

(Repeat 1x)

Repeat until chorus fades

An Ode To William Blake

Doth if not thrill thee, Poet,
Dead and dust though thy art,
To feel how I press thy singing
Close to my heart?

By Richard Le Gallienne
(The Passionate Reader To His Poet)

O greatest father of poetry
To you I dedicate this write
All through human history
Your poems showed the light

The Lamb paved the way
Of divinity and glory
In the little child’s heart lay
Truth and purity

In Tyger you portrayed
The might of a beautiful being
The part that Almighty played
In forming this mysterious thing

Your life-like engravings
And the world of images
Your sensitive etching
Every poet praises

In school I first met you
Through pages of a textbook
And with you my imagination flew
When the path of poetry I took

Your simple words and feelings
Your spirituality and devotion
My muse you brought meaning
And a channel for my emotion

Living Rooms

. for public domain

Where we hung our overcoats I don't remember,
or at what time winter snow fell late December,
I barely recall the living room
with the television or radio on,
snuggled in a chair, wanting weather of September.

The living room, our family's sanctuary,
where we prayed for a quickly passing January,
we held our tongues from bitter comments,
mostly, but one slipped out on occasion,
which made for an unpleasant colder February.

Spring and Summer came with outdoor body odor,
showers and sweat all through the harvest of October.
Comments on sore bones and blisters,
exchanged among my mother and sisters,
kept the conversation lively through November.

Our parents have long passed on, as we have passed on,
alone, or enduring lives we have created,
lording over our own living rooms,
to keep them from becoming tombs
of the silence that awaits us at the end.

A TOUCH OF LOVE

It feels at once both cool and warm,
The gentle stroke of an angel’s hand,
Caressing a body shivering in the storm,
Then lifting away like wind across the land.

I reach to hold her close,
Yet she dissolves, a fleeting glow,
Like mist on a river at dawn,
And my heart unravels in silent woe.

She comes like a whisper of the breeze,
Then slips away, untamed, unseen,
A warmth that melts and twists with ease,
And leaves my soul suspended in between.

I feel her pulse, soft and bright,
A secret rhythm beneath her skin,
She enfolds me in the hush of night,
And in that embrace, I drown within.

A touch of love, a fleeting flame,
A kiss of heaven upon the earth,
She leaves no trace, yet calls my name —
A spark eternal, a boundless birth.

And though she vanishes with the morning light,
Her fire rises with me, through every night.

Premium Member I Turn Myself Around--

The man who trusts in God is not denied pass
Total trust in you Lord, you will be blessed
Totally I trust in you God
For in my faith I received for
I believe, that’s it’s only you who can embrace me
I turn myself around
I turn myself around
I have faith that only God
I turn myself around
I turn myself around
I have faith that only God

Can turn your situation around
I have such a violent faith to provoke
My a turnaround season
In your life’s situation.
Violent faith is aggressive,
Persistent, like a bulldog,
It seizes with a grip
And does not let go
Oh, but I confess
While I was in my mess
I believe as I receive the Lord Jesus Christ
Faith will help you to decide that you are dissatisfied
Despite the world telling me to be quiet
With your current situation
I am rethinking myself
Taking another breathe
And as I to so move for victory in mine soul
I am gonna finally let go if you let it go, it’s gone!
I am turnt around Lord He I am
Hallelujah

Premium Member Wings of An Angel

Dance with Angels my love, on wings you've grown.
Give light to my darkness from height above.
Hold my heart to yours eternal to own.
This gift I cherished I gave to you, love.
When your breath left, days forever turned cold,
And chilled my tender heart from its fiery glow.
My face stained with traces as tears grew old,
Remembering still, hands held when you let go
How lonely time is as your kiss is gone,
And emptiness surrounds my quiet soul.
How long my nights, when they begin at dawn,
And days turned dark because my love was stole.

I will find you, as time will lead the way,
And with wings of an Angel I will stay.

Sore, sadden alone and down trodden. Smitten
Stuck on the facts we’re not truly physical
I use to visualize I saw, I touched not anymore
The scent of you not anymore
Even in mine dreams the sight of you dazed a blur

Oh’ how I loved you, the touch of you
The sight of you
The physicality of you

Now eternalized in another guise different point place you reside
In my heart, and mind, soul refreshing a blessing
You left yourblessed mark allure--

Maya Angelou Quotes

"And when great souls die, after a period peace blooms, slowly and always irregularly. Spaces fill with a kind of soothing electric vibration. Our senses, restored, never to be the same, whisper to us. They existed. They existed. We can be. Be and be better. For they existed."

Sipping Coffee

Alabaster streaks of warmth
in its dewy first glow,
tepidly stirring the senses, as
my gaze roams to the
trickle of ebony beads;
in the distance,
chimes of granular dustings,
with fragrances rich in
mahogany earthen grounds,
shaking the last of the
quondam night’s moon specks,
as life’s poignant rays
seep deep into my sights,
coaxing myself out of
hibernation,
longing for the first sip
of sunshine,
basking in the early beams of
balmy dawns and
sepia sunsets,
blessed to
start and end the
sands of time with you—
upon my soul’s sanctuary,
my lucid dream ablaze.

"God within me is the enjoyer of the aroma
As also this dopamine boosting flavour I taste
I surrender all pleasures to the dweller of my heart
Breath by breath thus that my soul presence be chaste"
