I walk in the wilderness of winter
Across the wasteland of despair
Reach the sunshine shore afar
Washed by the warm azure sea
Discover the alluring niche
Yearning to enter I waited so long
That’s where I sense love
Unveil from shroud of obscurity.

I follow the tantalizing silver track
The mesmeric moon makes on satin sky
Until the dreamy dawn rises
From the sunburst hued horizon
Tinges the opalescent dew drops
Shining in the meadow of mind
That’s when I find love
Sparkle with gleam of divinity.

Our walk together in the garden path
Ends at the edge of teeming twilight
Its surging spectrum makes
Fervent music in my heart
The melody resonates in my essence
With the rhythm of lingering emotion
That’s why I feel love
Endure in eternity with sanguinity.

An ebullient stream you cascade
To the end of my beguiled time
Carry my dream dancing through
The valley of luxuriant longing
To the pristine bay of bliss
Under the radiant sparkling sky
That’s how I perceive love
Adore with crystalline purity.

The Answer Calls

In whispered tones, a question weaves,
Amidst the starlight's gentle, gleaming dance,
Seeking solace in night's ethereal sleeves,
A longing heart awaits its true romance.

But hark! From shadows deep, a voice so clear,
The answer softly murmurs through the air,
"Within thyself, dear soul, the truth is near,
Embrace the journey, free from doubt's snare."

No distant realm nor lover's tender kiss,
Can quell the ache or fill the void inside,
For in the depths of being, lies the bliss,
A union sacred, where we can't hide.

Unveil thy heart, surrender to its call,
The answer lies within, awaiting all.

"it matters not"
for the love of the sea

it matters not I sit and stare
I know I'm here
the far and wide unveil glory
we both whisper a story
secrets of hopes and wishes
secrets of worlds of fishes

as tides roll to and fro
my thoughts I don't want to go
blessed with a front row seat
up above seagulls come to meet
their treasure food to survive
my treasure my soul comes alive

sounds heard across her sphere
I hold within close and dear
gentle yet loud for one and all
quiet still vocal as a waterfall
a wondrous castle in the air
it matters not I sit and stare

"if"

if I have to tell you
what does it matter
if I have to explain
what does it matter
if I have to justify
now it matters

don't question
what isn't understood
don't analyze
my walk of miles
don't criticize
my fractured soul

if all this has to be
leave me to be free

"fallen angel"

speak fallen angel
never be silent
sound your voice
hear fallen angel
sing with birds
listen to nature

see fallen angel
witness life
find your soul

feel fallen angel
experience love
know the divine
touch fallen angel
hold what is yours
extend all tangibles

wish fallen angel
envision beauty
dream each desire

stand fallen angel
follow yellow brick roads
journey to peace
believe fallen angel
dare with possibilities
the world is open

soar fallen angel
be the butterfly
breathe a rebirth

fallen angel
fallen angel
you have the power
you have the power

Which comes first?
asked Justice Sage
of Peaceful Muse

Divinely inspired Peace
or Humanely expired Passion?

For amusing organic bodies
inspiring sage minds
perspiring pronoia purposes

While DivineSage minds
worship HumaneMuse bodies
anticipating deep sacred meanings

Unveil organic unitarian Muse
purposes flowing toward
prevailing universal sacred Sage
meaningful peace forms

Pronoia Gaia's hypothetical paradox
Gnostic God's metaphysical orthodox

How could SageMind remember anticipating
organically resilient purpose
without MuseBody religiously conjoining
sacredly resonant meaning?

Why would democratically organic bodies
reproduce belonging
autocratically irreligious minds
seduce longing

For sacred AnthroSage inspiring Peace
love songs refueling
Organic EarthMuse perspiring Passion
justice dances restoring

Which sacred longing first
comes organic belonging last?
asked peace perspiring MuseBody
inspiring SageMind passions.

Premium Member Something Lies Concealed

Reluctantly, I'm ascending stairs. . .
Sensations of a dreadful cold
Permeate my trembling skin.
Through the window the moonlight glares.
My footsteps falter, but I'm growing bold,
And my climb begins again.

Darkness grips me with its wicked claws.
Something lies concealed.
I hear my heart beating frantically;
A dark foreboding gives me pause.
Consumed by it, my spirit chills;
I must unveil what hides from me. . . .

* My daughter,Angela Hobbs, who is writing a novel based
loosely on her first marriage, had me collaborate with her
on this poem that is the introduction to her novel named
"Confidentially Yours" and which is done in form of letters
written to a fictionalized friend. Angela dabbled in poetry
in high school and I am thrilled to see her sprinkling poems
into her novel. Praying it will be able to be published one day.
I still need to get started on MINE!! BTW: both stanzas are
ours. It was her idea and I helped a lot with the phrasings.)

Still Waiting

I had waited all day long
I had waited all night long
I had waited enough beyond enough.
I had waited basking in the
Euphoria of a dream in my dream
I had waited long enough
Forgetting that I am still waiting

I relish momentarily in our
Hobo’s day time out
I speak to myself of a day
To come off my dream.
I dream aloud to myself of a day
To maw the forbidden fruit.
I soliloquy only to my very self
Of the hour to taste the fruit of life.

Could it be when I will be forbidden
To eat of your forbidden fruit?
Could it be when your heart would
Have forge for itself another me?
Could it be then and when my seat
In your heart is crowned in lacuna ?
Or could it be when our souls must have
Soar very high to the stage above?

No, God forbid !
For on earth our love shall blossom.
Now, lets us loving unveil the veiled fruit
For I am still waiting but
For how long I know not.

                   Young, Wise, Beautiful Bird.
Facing the labyrinth to unveil the miracles of life.
Every corner beholds a minotaur, armed with jealousy.
Born to stomp and set ablaze peace and tranquility.
Feeble fires are put out with grace and forgiveness.
Your spirit is blessed with a plethora of this.
Vermin will try to spray your faith and blur pristine vision.
But you've a spirit of light and are strong in wisdom.
Gently temper burning hate with a proverb or a psalm.
Plastic buzzards will try swooping down into your soul.
Pluck every graceful feather, tap death into your bones.
But you're armed with shields of resolve and discipline.
Crack open opaque masks of deceit and deception.
Forever shimmer within the spirit of the blessed word.
                      Young, Wise, Beautiful bird
                      Young, Wise, Beautiful Bird
What's it really all about? Guiding God-given gifts to their destiny.
Along the journey, use those gifts to find the lost, buoy the weak.
Place a shawl of love 'round the shoulders of despair and loneliness.
Seal the rancid pit of temptation; live righteously and be blessed.
You'll do fantastic, Godly things, but it'll take a pinch or two of time.
A small price to pay to walk and dance within the shine.

Premium Member She Shells Peas By the Seashore

She reads seashells on seashores like tea leaves,
seeing faint signs the ebb tide truly believes.
Each shell has fallen to create a spelling bee
in the clues the sea has scattered in its debris.

She lifts conch shells, gently to her ear,
Some shells hum softly of mariners drawing near,
Some hiss their warnings, dark, stark and austere,
Some reek of the brine, lost sailors once held dear.
Some recall battles fought in wild raging seas,
All are messages, the sea shells from its pleas.

So shell the peas by the seashore
where the sea meets the sand, once more.
Read the script, trace the score.
Hear the sounds, deep within shell's core.

So let the seashore tell its tale,
in fragments the waves unveil.
The tide will wash away each scour and scar,
Then leave us seeing what we truly are.
The messages surge in the ebbs and flows,
echoing what the tide brings in and knows.

So read the shells like tea leaves.
Hear the secrets told by pirates and thieves.
Embrace the meanings not quite there,
like latte art cast on crema's foaming flair.

The sandy shore shifts with every tide.
No single story ever remains the same.
Each wave writes a new fresh line,
so every person sees their own name,
in the peas and ques, shelled in the rhyme.

So read the shells, seesaw your biases adrift.
Take what comes in, then release its grift.
For the sea speaks with a forked shifty tongue,
that we love and hate, yet let remain unsung.

So shell the peas by the seashore
where the sea meets the sand once more.
Read the script, trace the score.
Hear the sounds, deep in the shell's core.

In the realm of the morning moon,
A tale of passion shall be strewn,
Where bleached rays against the sky,
Unveil secrets with each sigh.

The brightening blue, a canvas true,
Witnesses a swift scything through,
In solitary circles, I searched,
Without God's light, I was besmirched.

But all I found in the morning moon,
Was my own reflection, a fleeting swoon.
I searched for myself and found only God.
I awed my divine awareness against the odd.

In the shadows deep, a void did dwell,
A walker roamed, lost in this spell.
A tempting lure, a sultry tone,
Led me astray into the unknown.

A regrettable fallacy ensues in a dance,
In forbidden realms, where hearts bear a chance.
In this hidden world, where desires claim,
Waiting for adults only, hearts are aflame.

In the realm of the morning moon,
Passions ignite such a flaming flame tune.
Desires unleashed akin to wildfire
Consuming souls with their untamed desires.

In this realm of secrets and dreams,
Where reality blurs and nothing is as it seems,
Lust and longing intertwine.
As hearts entwine.

But beware, for in this realm of sin,
Where pleasure and temptation begin,
The consequences can be severe.
Leaving scars that never disappear.

So tread carefully in this hidden place.
Where passions ignite and hearts embrace,
For in the realm of the morning moon,
Desires may win, yet they may also hewn.

Pick wisely which direction to forsake.
In this life, you can't undo any mistake.
For in the realm of the morning moon,
Where passion and temptation bloom,

In the world of the morning moon,
Where secrets are whispered and desires loom,
Find the balance between love and lust.
And let your heart guide you, but also trust.

For in this world of shadows and light,
Where boundaries blur and passions ignite,
True love can be found if you dare.
But only if you're willing to share.

Eyes Open and Close

Your eyes open…but do they clearly see
me?
I was driving on a real dark lane
Your eyes close…but do they clearly
sleep?
Don’t let go of my hand…refrain
From making me go insane

I have to grab a hold of the healing rain
I’ve decided to listen to music
I have to throw all of my worries into the
trash bin
I have pulled out the anxiety from the
drain…
Do you care if I lose or gain?

Your eyes open…but why do they don’t
gaze at me
A brighter day is approaching me…
Your eyes close…unveil Your love and
throw it on me
Don’t let things get out of hand…refrain
From making me feel dumb

I have to grab a hold of the healing rain
I’ve decided to listen to music
I have to throw all of my worries into the
trash bin
I have pulled out the anxiety from the
drain…
Do you care if I lose or gain?
I have to grab a hold of the healing rain
I’ve decided to listen to music
I have to throw all of my worries into the
trash can
I have pulled out the anxiety from the
bottomless well...
Do you care if I have lost my directions?
I feel like I’ve arrived undone
I’ll just sleep until the sun
Rises from the East…
