Of course, sometimes it matters not to sit and stare and take in the beauty around us! Unfortunately, many have no eyes for nature's gifts! ~ You don't have to justify yourself, dear Lisa, and I for one won't be your judge! ~ Your fallen angel poem is not only lovely, but also filled with positivity and open to possibilities. WE have the power to achieve! ~ Warm regards & Blessings // paul

Good Morning Paul. Hello. Thank you ever so much for your intake on the entries and of life too to which I agree many have no eyes for nature's gifts and that we do not have to justify ourselves which is a hard lesson to follow. May today find you well. Have a wonderful day. Keep enjoying poetry and poetrysoup too. Peace and Blessings always. (smile)

The third was an encouraging poem to those who feel they have fallen. It lets them know to look inside for the good things inside themselves. Look on the positive side of things. Look for beauty in things, and know that where there is a will, there is a way. Call upon the power within to help turn things around instead of going down and feeling helpless. Good encouraging poetry, my sweet friend. Smiles ~ Blessings Bill

Hi Bill. Thank you Thank you. Happy New Year. I very much appreciate and like your intake on fallen angels. No one should be or feel like a fallen angel. I always try to look for light and beauty and grace. I hope all is well and that you and Sara had a wonderful holiday celebration with each of them. May 2024 bring many blessings for both of you. Have a beautiful night and weekend. Love Peace and Blessings always. (smile)

Thanks for the well wishes for 2024, Lisa! And thanks for the visit and comments on my poetry. I've only been able to write 3 days since Christmas day. I'll be back in a few days. I liked all three of your posted in this one. In the second one I like the reminder we should all allow other people to be who they are without having to know why that are as they are right now. The third was my favorite ... continued

Dear Lisa, how nice to see you post again, happy new year. And let me say, i love your three entries but the second one hits home for in so many deep and strong levels, especially as you wrote “ don't question what isn't understood don't analyze my walk of miles don't criticize my fractured soul” ah that is just so powerful and soul stirring and your way with expressing is always evocative and i cant help but feel every word woven here: so sincere and authentic with such poignant truth. Fave!

How delightful! Three poems at once, each beautiful in their own way. "It matters not" is something my husband and I frequently say to get perspective on a much bigger picture. Thanks for your words today. I received your Soup Mail earlier today...been gone all day and not able to respond but will on Tuesday, Have a great evening, hugs, Sara

Hey Lisa hope you're well. I like the first one best. Not a fan of fallen angels, though you were likely speaking metaphorically. Gotta love castles in the air. Reminds me of a Don McLean song

Hello Tom. Good Afternoon. Thank you very much for stating your intake and what you focused on within the entry. I too am partial to the first regarding the sea. Yes, it is ok that you are not a fan of fallen angels. That's perfectly fine. Truly. As far as castle in the air I thank you for reminding me of that and of Don McLean. I give you my word he and the song was never entered in my mind and now I will have to youtube his music (smile). May this day find you well. Have a wonderful night and weekend. Blessings and Peace (smile)

Happy new year Lisa.. Three wonderful poems.. The first one beautifully captures the deep connection and reverence the speaker has for the sea. The recurring refrain of "it matters not" suggests a sense of acceptance and contentment in simply being present and absorbed in the beauty of the ocean... last one is a deep story about a fallen angel and the second is full of angst, many will feel the same way.. Happy new year..
