Young,Wise, Beautiful Bird
Young, Wise, Beautiful Bird.
Facing the labyrinth to unveil the miracles of life.
Every corner beholds a minotaur, armed with jealousy.
Born to stomp and set ablaze peace and tranquility.
Feeble fires are put out with grace and forgiveness.
Your spirit is blessed with a plethora of this.
Vermin will try to spray your faith and blur pristine vision.
But you've a spirit of light and are strong in wisdom.
Gently temper burning hate with a proverb or a psalm.
Plastic buzzards will try swooping down into your soul.
Pluck every graceful feather, tap death into your bones.
But you're armed with shields of resolve and discipline.
Crack open opaque masks of deceit and deception.
Forever shimmer within the spirit of the blessed word.
Young, Wise, Beautiful bird
Young, Wise, Beautiful Bird
What's it really all about? Guiding God-given gifts to their destiny.
Along the journey, use those gifts to find the lost, buoy the weak.
Place a shawl of love 'round the shoulders of despair and loneliness.
Seal the rancid pit of temptation; live righteously and be blessed.
You'll do fantastic, Godly things, but it'll take a pinch or two of time.
A small price to pay to walk and dance within the shine.
