The Union

"The Union"

You lift me up when I have no strength
When I feel things are too rough
Today tomorrow and forever you go the extra length
Because of you I've been given a chance to be tough
In your arms you show me true love
As a symbol of security you've become my dove
You've taught me in all things we will cling to hope
The reason I don't need to get scared when I feel I'm at the end of my rope
In the moments I feel things aren't fair or just
You've taught me to believe in the two of us I must
It's protection and security when we are joined together
That things go from heavy as a rock to light as a feather
You're there through the worst the unsure and the best
And united together we are a force that stands every test
Through every minute hour and second that time seems to stand still and freeze
You make the whispers of the wind give a refreshing calm breeze
I find myself assured that with you as we hold hands we are one like a strong lock
Your love I know has been my rock
I know time no longer stands still as we become united together as one
As God our heavenly Father says my children my work has been done
Joining hand in hand two hearts become one and I proudly say our lives have begun
The race to the finish line we are determined to run
As the world meets for the first time Mr. and Mrs. McGee
I'm humbled to say that lucky bride will be me
We will take this world by storm through the example of faith we walk
Through honest communication we glide like the beauty of a hawk
It's a privilege and a gift to know that you're going to be my husband
But you're more than just that you're my inspiration
And as we exchange vows that we've had since our first day together we promise
To be all that each other needs, wants, and ever could dream or imagine
Thanks to hard work discipline and remaining determined
As our prayers were heard and answered the Lord said we were forever destined
In honor of all he had in mind for us we will be strong and evolve to make our future ours for the making
In awe of everything yet to come I promise to give you all I have and all that I am
Before you God and our family we stand, joined hand in hand
Celebrating our union today tomorrow and for eternity
Congratulations to husband and wife, we are presented with a bonding kiss

Premium Member Adam and Eve - Part Two

A Determined Devil -

As I lay another cedar beam plumb for our home
smoke plumes, serpentine and sulphuric, interrupts the sunshine,
I look below the ridge, Eve standing silent
with weapon in hand,
a woman so grand,
panic has no rest in her person, fear has no finger on her pulse,
I move like lightning, to war by my Lady's side,

Valley vandels have come, scortching field fruit,
searing insidious signs into our peach and apples trees,
incarnate, the Devil disheveled with a defunct posse of three
approaches me, hailing not from a city of Angels but from a ghetto of ghouls,
mean and ugly like ignorance injured by the ivory tusks of innocence,
a madman desperate for the destruction of Divinity,
unskillful and wishful for lies to come alive,
he's a scribbler scribe, a dribbler riddler
a stereotype simpleton, frontin' and gruntin'
fallin short of the great gangsta idol,
just a stereotypical imbecile, a pencil with no lead,
burpin chicken feathers claimin them to be the silk quill of Angels,

I turn to Eve now
with eyes saying now is the time for demise,
briefly, before I strike steel across the throat of Hell itself
our first promise to each other repeats in my memory,
"I forever fight for you"
as her brown eyes convince me of loyalty, love royal,
she rips her blade through his groin
as I open a river across the throat of this terrible thug...

Raising A Tribe -

Eve, this land is already populated by persons whom seem like us,
although different too, like seasons in soul,
divergent in their dreams for dynasty,
they have dialects from a depth of Dawn
that awoke long before we arrived to thrive here,
customs peculiar as shapes to stones,
Father never spoke of these klans
who strive to survive outside the mercy of His guarded Garden,
competitive as clouds in a shrunken sky,

I met a merchant, a servant to trade,
he told of banners and blood, laws and legacies
cultures savage and cities of crime,
gleamed from telling stories of wealth and wonder,
said they worship their Gods more ways than gold folds,
consider what we have encountered Luv,
will our children slay or be slain, war or work
love or get lost in conquest,
you, as a Woman of God's glorious gambit
have a harvest of futurity's face in the balance,
will you deliver the destiny of our union into this drama...

Clown Politics

How am I doing

Well thanking you very much indeed

For being kind enough to ask

Because I am doing just fine

In fact I can't tell a lie i am actually
way far better than that bordering on
great

Because my business is downright
booming at the minute

To the point I have had to stop taking
bookings as I am now fully booked
up till Christmas

And the reason why you may well ask
well is due and down to this

You see what I do for and earn my living
as my proffesion and business is

I am a fully qualified certified card carrying
Clown

So much some of the very best in the
business which you may or may
not have heard of

Like for example Sideshow Bob and
Ronald McDonald who actually based
a lot of their own act and performance
on material they stole off me

But they have all but since gone to
ground so now I am all but the last
standing remaining Clown

Due to the dwindling amount of work
after COVID -19 rules etiquette and
social distancing ensued

The best excuse money can buy
when all else other's used have failed
thus far since the classic good old days
of my dog eat my homework

And left them without means to
earn a steady income to support
them in order to pay their bill's and
lifestyle they had become accustomed to

But hey at least this story has a happy
ending and they didn't want and go
without for very long

Because blessed with the particular
skillet they garnered and possessed

They simply just went joined signed
up and pledged allegiance to and
became a fully fledged member of the
Clown Union

Because as everyone full well knows
Clown's are the star's and reason why
people choose go to the Circus in the
1st place

And politics if nothing else is in all
but name the greatest Circus on earth

Only difference being although littered
with clown's these one's have or feel
no need

To slap and adorn their face in
makeup or wear a funny customized
suit

Because they are and their act and
material on which it is based upon is
in itself funnier than hell

But whereas Circus clown's wear big
shoe's for comical affect

These here clown's wear big boot's
in order so they can fill them up to
brim of their stetson hat

After the pockets of their shinny designer
bespoken suits look like they have
$100 handkerchief hanging out all
of them

My Plea

I'm making this plea for your love to return
This is a hard lesson I had to learn.
I learned a woman like you, is a precious jewel
Meant to be tresured, not meant to be ruled.
I tried to change you & did not suceed
Because you were perfect as you were & exactly what I need.
You tried to show love & I did not recieve it
You said you would leave me & I chose not to believe it.
I thought you'd always be here & you'd never go away
My ego told me don't worry, she'll be here, she'll stay.
But I was wrong, you left & took my heart with you
Now I'm lonely & sad now each day I miss you.
I sit here so lonely, broken & scared
Because I didn't say I Love You & acted as if I didn't care.
You wanted a man to love you & ADORE you
I didn't take heed & chose to ignore you.
You wanted love, affection & a little of my time
I didn't do those thing, because my time was mine.
You wanted a man to love God as you you do
I didn't make time for that, now we are through.
Now I pray to the same God, you tried to lead me to
Begging & pleading him to give me back my love that was so true.
I ask him to please return My Leesah back to me
But he ignores me like I did him & doesn't hear my plea.
All I need is just one more chance
To prove my love, another shot at romance.
Being without My Leesah is an unbearable pain
My heart is heavy, I wonder if it could take this strain.
I can't take the misery nor the loneliness too
My heart is on fire, I have no idea what to do.
I can't bear losing you, it's hard to be alone
This plea is is my last effort, please come home.
I can't bear the pain & the hurt is so great
I just hope & pray that my plea is not too late
I lost my lover, my wife Leesah, my soulmate.
I'll love you the way a man is supposed to
My heart will be open & never closed to you.
I'll never ignore you or take you for granted
A new seed of love in my heart will be planted.
Things will be better than ever, I know this for sure
My love will be HONEST, real & oh so pure.
I'll love you with every inch of my heart & I will never desert you
I'll always cherish your love & never again hurt you.
This is my promise as God as my witness
I ruined our union & I beg for forgiveness.
Leesah I'm sorry for all the pain I caused
Believe me when I say
Come back to me & I'll love you better than ever
Each & everyday.
Leesah I Love You!

~ Cherish the Kisses ~

~ Precious-tears-offered in-faith ... fall, God-catches them places
them, within His Souls heavenly-amphora, and with a sway of His Mighty Hand,
plucks-up His eminent-Knowledge-honed by Holy Quill. ~

~ Upright ... and looking strait into His vision for us of the new day. Offers
the many consummate opportunities riding high on the fringe of His
promise, granted in welcome. Painting a Holy Journey, evolving amid
a certain solace and freedom. Moving on into veracious days with Him
lasting on forever. Exiting beyond higher lofts of earthly sky's and rolling
lands advancing in humble reverence descending down from the openness
of the Heavens. Rewriting yet again; another-story in person for each individual.
Yes for all life; far-greater and-even-greater still ... than the others gone before. ~

~ Carrying within it ... the treasures revealed of Him strewn about found soaring
aloft the reality of Him granted and awakened devout of their surrender. Whispering,
of the latter days grateful of the many gone by. ~

~ As tender kisses resinating from-His heart of-mercy, grace-the folds-
every-nook-and-cranny-of the-lands. The-fullness-of His-consciousness-
the very-presence-of His-greater-hope ... has-placed-its-sweetness-rising-up-
in its-essence. Within-lowly-laying-effervescent; droplets-glistening-in the-
light, of His-joyous-rejoinder. Given for all; in love. Carried-in the-honest-
taste-the-freshness; of the precious morning-dew, and-in her-innocence;
truth; e'er-aware; and-seeing this-and being-fond of-His-presence thriving-within-
the-relative-ease and-dancing amid-the peace, emanating-from the-perfect-fruition-
of His-love. ~

~ Moves-to-cherish too, the-pureness ...

of-the-union ... ~

~ While rising, in-a blaze-of His-Glory; from the ashes of the past. A
new-day budding in the-wake of-its-freedom. Amid royal fields-growing-
still-fragrant more brilliant elaborate; of lavender. Has felt the-pleasure
of-His passion too, and-given the true-warmth and goodness-He has-always
been-open to provide. ~

~ Pausing-amid this beauty seen still rising in-spite-of-this out-of-the-ashes-
of-the-hate of the days of our past.

His-love remains, abides-for-us.

Why not-we-too all-move, to-look-to-cherish this like the-innocent; in their
freedom are-always striving ... to-do? ~

Harmony 69 Movement 5

Will you burn the earth`s skin to glass?.

Yet, right there , in Harmony of `69
I bent in adoration
before the dusky pearl of your forehead
the soft slopes of your never-ending body
shifting under a sea of blankets
Oh! treasure of treasures !
sparkling
to life
love
in the inner-sanctum of the
tent-temple of my emerald heart,
filling it with that attar fragrance ,
that compassionate smile,
that yearning voice,
quieting my storm
urging me
to swim your sultry sea.

How could the world ever be the same again ?

Outside,
rooted like stark brood of the Black stone ,
rocks parried thuddingly the capricious charge of waves
and subdued the swell and swirl of a dark ,disturbed sea.

The summer night was short
and I
cleaved to you like a calf to its mother.
Your dark-eyed nipples breasted the blanket ,
occulting the coarseness of Harmony .
We rocked to cradle the peace in the galaxy,
with love milking the way
to the morning star .

Winking over the mount,
Venus caught us intertwined ,
drooling like babes,
sated
I, summer cloud paramour of
you Landie ,
altar of my sensuous sacrifice
sweet naos forever
Yolande
briefly
undraping your
compassionate cosmic essence
for a gallant stripling
starving for affirmation.

Awed,
i nested in mouths
harmonizing
now enchanting,
now strident symphonies,
keen enough to split
chaos
into mutual opposites
that grappled , grinded and finally clashed ,
giving birth to a higher union.

I tattoo your name , Landie, on the stretched skin of the earth.
I pullulate the waves in your name
sackbutting the syllables
till tremolo breaks it breathlessly to foam
on the glistening beach of your belly
Wrinkles I didgeridoo into the dark blanket of our night,
stringing out your diadem of stars
I spiral you stately across my deep.

Breaking away
reluctantly
from the tug of your knees
i trolled our anchor through love`s flow
girding it close to my wound-up heart.

"Go now love….spare me a thought "
Your voice and a gentle seabreeze wafted me out.

Diving at dawn with a whale of love
between waking dunes
capped by sourfigs , bleary-eyed revellers,
the blue-blue sky warbled
“one and one and one is three
One thing you got know ,is you got to be free
Come together, right now , over me.”

A Wedding At Castle Heartstone

The day drew near..........
Upon the wind,
so light and fair
Flowers falling through the air

The South Wind Prince,
came to Castle Heartstone
Wearing a crown..........
Shining like the sun
Gold and bright
The Prince, spreading the wind
Warm and light

The petals began to fall............
The measured walk to the Great Hall
The Crown, shining bright
The Summer Queen ensuring this day........
Warm and light
The petals play

The pennants flew,
a blaze of colour too
Such joy to behold,
in Castle Heartstone.......
The shining gold

For, The Kings were there.......
Queens too........
Upon the Royal Thrones
The Crowns, shone bright
The cloaks glittered..........
On this day of wedding light

The Prince entered the Great Hall..........
His hair, so fair
It glowed in the light.........
His Crown, bright........
To see the Princess..........
His heart did fall

For, the Princess was waiting serenely.....
At the end of the Great Hall
Her dress, shimmering ,
with flowers of every colour..........
Every hue
Her hair, plaited around a crown of gold........
She was beautiful too
The Prince joined her,
proud and tall

The Great Hall was filled with flower scent
Blew with a warm wind airy and light
The Heartstone on the North Wall
Shone bright..........
The Tapestries glowed........
For this was right.........

A union of wind light and flower bright
The Spring Queen and the Princess of Magic........
Created a new orchid...........
The Wind Flower........
This was brought to them in the hall,
for this was the hour..........
The orchids beauty could be seen by all

They were blessed by all,
who were in the Great Hall
The love, showed
The Heartstone glowed...........
The stained glass West Wall,
shone with all its might
The Tapestries illuminated the night
Starlight,
Flower bright,
Faerie glow,
Magic to show

The South Wind Prince,
carried the Flower Princess out of the Hall.......
On a wind so airy and a wind so light.......
The petals fall......
The Heartstone, bright
Off they went,
deep into the night

Castle Heartstone...........
Filled with joy and love
The Heartstone,shining above.......
You are never alone........
In the Great Hall...........
For the power is within us all

Mine Conscience Exhorts Restitution Regarding Lost Wedding Band

Thru deliberate seductive
liaisons, ploys, and underhanded gambits,
I tendered illicit, explicit and complicit shenanigans
blatant actions to foment coital adulteration.

Ofttime these discrete liaisons found me removing
linkedin metallic keepsake symbolizing union.

Years elapsed since this spouse pledged his troth,
he sported husbandly marital vows courtesy
monogrammed nondescript ring.

Impossible mission prevails to locate complimentary
jeweled tokens bespeaking our joint monogamous fidelity.

Yours truly beset with genuine disheartened woe
no matter public affections, he never doth show
thee above stated guilty admission signifying
mine absent overtures
(indicating even marginal wedded bliss),
the missus posits as wanting from me,
a common garden variety generic Joe Schmoe.

Self awareness heightened
within mental cogs and wheels
as if of a sudden hindsight brought
into sharp focus think barely audible
high pitched squeals
nsync with and accompanied by newsreel

silently displaying story
(solely my viewing pleasure) of mein kampf
metaphorically yours truly blown to bits
while hoisting myself by own petard
vigorously spiriting and
pitching me head over heels.

Regale thee dear reader,
I strive with utmost zeal
plus cathartic to expunge, (albeit poetically)
my pathetic, quixotic,
and reasonable rhyming spiel
hoopfully mine lame literary endeavor
won't upset any spur of the moment meal

thus tis wise I beat a hasty retreat
before ye sic on me Achilles heel
versatile scouts i.e. English language
verb boss and noun sensical police,
yours truly here expert escape artist
dog gone hard to grab hold,
cuz I trumpet art of making the deal.

Proclaiming high fidelity to wife high wed
she already with child (our first)
into holy matrimony we did nervously tread
"quod erat demonstrandum"- Q.E.D.

"what was to be shown" courtesy yours truly
this once upon a time
(about two and a half dozen
Earth orbitz ago) time newlywed.

Now he frets and experiences woebegone
as testimony scratching out
yet another one of his plaintive,
quirky, somber, ridiculously shown,
herewith I attempted to communicate none

previous endeavor ever considered exemplary
yet I diligently, honorably,
and literally try to hone
elusive talent hours daily
hermetically sealed, and sequestered alone.

The Masnavi of Giti and Saeed - Footnotes and Glossary Part two

Cultural and Social Terms

Idol: In Persian poetry, often refers to the beloved, particularly one who is non-Muslim. The term carries complex connotations of forbidden desire and spiritual challenge.

Veil: Refers both to the physical head covering and the metaphysical veil between the material and spiritual worlds in Sufi thought.

Fate's Wheel: The wheel of fortune or destiny (charkh-e falak), a common motif in Persian literature representing the unpredictable nature of fate.

Character Names

Giti: A Persian name meaning "world" or "universe," suggesting the beloved encompasses all existence for the lover.

Saeed: An Arabic name meaning "happy" or "blessed," ironic given the character's suffering in love.

Poetic Devices and Concepts

Ghazal tradition: Though this is a masnavi, it draws heavily from the ghazal (lyric poem) tradition of Persian literature, with its emphasis on unrequited love and spiritual longing.

Tavern: In Sufi poetry, the tavern represents the place of spiritual gathering and divine intoxication, not literal alcohol consumption.

Cup and Wine: The cup represents the heart or soul, while wine represents divine love or spiritual knowledge.

Dawn: Often symbolizes spiritual awakening, hope, or the appearance of the beloved.

Mystical Concepts

Fana: The Sufi concept of self-annihilation or dissolution of the ego in divine love, reflected in the lovers' ultimate union where individual identity dissolves.

Ishq: Divine or passionate love that transcends ordinary human affection, central to Sufi thought and Persian poetry.

Longing (Hijr): The pain of separation from the beloved, considered a necessary stage in spiritual development.

Historical Context

Persian Literary Tradition: This work draws from the rich tradition of Persian mystical poetry, including works by Rumi, Hafez, Saadi, and others who used love poetry as a vehicle for spiritual expression.

Courtly Love: The formal, ritualized expression of love that characterized medieval Persian court culture, with its emphasis on patience, suffering, and devotion.
____________________________________
Note: Many terms in Persian mystical poetry carry multiple layers of meaning - literal, romantic, and spiritual - simultaneously. This ambiguity is intentional and central to the tradition's power and enduring appeal.
