Introspection of Myself
I never wanted to get married
But I always knew that
If ever I where to
It will be him, him only
Not the one to look at
But he owned my heart
How could that be
Is it the smile that he offers to present
Is it the voice that he performs to be
That is the love that is captured
Is it the character that he formulates
Is it the performance that he displays
That is the love that is absorbed
Is it the love that he gives to other people
Is it the love that I have not received from him
That is the reality of love
Future in the making
I have never wanted to be burden
But always knew that I am very independent woman
If ever I were to get married to him
It will be coming together of two different individuals
Not to work together as such
But to form a union of endless possibilities
While keeping their individualism intact
