The Gypsy Dance of Life

Last night I watched in silence
At the end of the road in forest deep
I hid amongst the trees watching in awe
As gypsies dance while others sleep
Under the violet hue of evening sky
Haloed by evening's golden moon

I watched gypsies dance and sing
As flames from bonfires leaped high in the air
Dark haired women in shawls and beads
Happily dancing and twirling without care
Casting their spells of magic and enchantment
Performing their honeyed seductions
Blended with aphrodisiacs of scent and sound

Gypsy men with kerchiefs around their necks
Hoops of silver adorning their ears, singing joyful songs
Children laughing, dogs barking
As if they’re singing right along
Oh, I so wanted to join them as I stood watching in awe
Envious was I of their freedom and joy

Caravans painted in bright images and colors
Tambourines jingling as velvet shadows danced in the night
Skirts swirling, gold and silver bangles on their arms
Dancing 'round the bonfire's fiery light
Accordions singing, with happy notes from a fiddler's bow
As they sang and danced barefoot under evening moon

In the coming dawn once again...
It will be time for them to pack and move on
With a last meal served...
The caravans are readied to make another journey long

"Gather yourself up gypsy girls
Wonderful as it may seem…
A gypsies’ life is never their own
Time to move on
Time to find another home
You must have gypsy blood
In order to survive"

As their wagons move along dusty trails
They'll be looking for a place to camp
A place to call home... at least for awhile
A place to hang their colored paper lamps
Until...
Suddenly- a cry rings out

"Stop the wagons, ring the bells
We've found the perfect place
The perfect place for magic spells
Tomorrow brings a brand new day!
Let's feast, dance and make merry
Come on let's get things underway"

And so...
The journey goes on
And never ends!

"Gather yourself up gypsy girls
Wonderful as it may seem…
A gypsies’ life is never their own
Time to move on, time to leave
Time to find another home
You must have gypsy blood
In order to survive"

SILENCE

Silence! Stillness! Silence! Inaction!
All guises of an impending eruption
The only sound of merriment
Is in the coterie of increment
I wish there could be joy in this clime
Like the pleasure you get from my rhyme
Our busy rails, ports and roads
Are our platforms for relieving our heart-loads
On boards, boldly written are our words in hues
Is it our turn to be deprived of shoes?
We trek the streets proclaiming a new birth
While our detractors soar like birds in mirth

Silence! I encounter silence everywhere I ambled
Is it true that our peace has been gambled?
There are only two persons I see
The first person, a damsel, I glee
I will never have seen her, thanks to subsidy
But to Keats "beauty is truth, truth beauty"
I would have fallen for her seductions
But I resisted her like subsidy attractions
I would have blindly succumbed, rejecting truths
Now I discern why all hands protest, even youths
Our pains increase yet no decrease
All we patients, diagnosed for the same disease
Our misery, their fortress; our words, our refuge
We persist, our tears for justice in deluge
Empty promises sadden our weary lobe
Hence; we seem the dystopian part of the globe

The second person, like the Ancient Mariner
Expressed his pains and fears in this manner
"Once upon a time, in their kingdom, animals –
Birds, reptiles, insects, aquatic and mammals –
Rejoice over the death of their brutal king
In unity and hilarity, they dance and sing.
'At last,' they said, 'it’s now authority, no more power;
Our words and woes will be respected in the new tower;
No despot reign, but a shepherd for us all sheep,
Tender-heart and loving; his promises, he will keep;
Our promise land! A new captain to steer our ship
He will use the mace to direct us, not as a whip'
All - ignorant of the dead despot’s fairy - are whining:
For he was alive and in a shepherd’s cloak, ruling"
Then the tale teller asked, 'Alas, Is that their lot?
Who's now leading, the shepherd or the despot?'

Being a Christian Is Darn Hard:But Worth the While

He sits at a park bench,
Having his lunch as usual,
And as he tries to take a
bite of
his delicious sandwich,
He bites his finger...
She walks gracefuly past
him,
Swinging her hips with
much
pride and gist,
Her cologne seems to be
pulling
him behind her,
And he takes two steps
ready to
devour her seductive
seductions,
But then he trips back to
his
senses,
And remembers he is not
to give
in to the flesh,
Thus walks the opposite
direction,
Reminiscing how being a
christian, is darn hard but
worth
the while.

She basks peacefuly at
the side of
the swimming pool,
Enjoying her off-day free
of work,
Sipping her lemonade
then
suddenly there is shade.
She opens her eyes,
Sees the buffed up figure,
Cubes as precise as the
hardness
of diamond,
Her eyes salivate,
Her mouth perspirate,
He lifts her up with his
disturbingly beautiful
arms,
And he heads to the
changing
room.
It all seemed a dream,
She was literally swept off
her
feet...
But along the way, she
stopped
him.
She got down from his
arms and
ran,
Scared of what she might
have
done,
Realising that being a
christian, is
darn hard but worth the
while.

2years out of
rehabilitation,
A year into his new found
salvation,
He had not had a drink
that long,
And he was not planning
to any
time soon.
But as fate would have it,
Destiny's plans were quite
different.
Promoted to Vice Chair,
The boys decie to take
him to a
night out,
Afterall his wife was
away on
vacation,
So what would be his
reason of
not having a little fun?
Rounds and rounds of
beer come,
But he sticks to his coke,
Till he is called chicken
and he
wants to prove that he is
eagle.
One bottle down,
Together with 3years of
dedication,
2nd one halfway,
then he hears a still voice
urging
him to stop.
He does...stands up and
walks
away,
Repenting the misdeed,
And admits that being a
christian
is darn hard but worth
the while.

Premium Member Portrait of a Nightmare

In the boxed gilded frame exists the residue of
A painter’s vision, of his nightmare placed upon
Canvas.
Locked within the cells of four square,
Lies a view into the ethereal world beyond our
Conscious mind.
A heckling demon does laugh, as she the white
Gowned maiden of innocence lies slain, as her bloods
Warmth slips silently away, and life's flash memory,
Closes around her for the last time.
Hear the thundering sounding. From the heavy laden hooves,
As hell's white steed, claims the vanquished heart of
The innocent, and riding unto the gates of black ebony,
He does so bare a rare prize, the soul of purist beauty.
Oh so do the angels cry in heaven, weeping in tandem's chorus.
For death's fallen will know the torments hidden in
The mighty halls of hell's keep, for dark has over come
The light, and at its flickering the last hope of mankind,
Has become one of the shunned.
Seductions father of evil, takes the white hands of
The maiden of innocence, for one last waltz, as life leaves
Her damaged shell, behind a phantom spirit of betrayal,
Is left at the threshold of the forgotten, and salvation's door
Slams shut unto her; she is suicide's victim of the broken
Hearted, never to know the taste of Eden, or to see the glory
Of Gods kingdom beyond.
Nipping beneath the ladies gown of white, the demon
Chastises her, belittling a life so sacrificed for what
He does so scold; it is a minor thing, this emotion called love.
Tears fall, be you so quiet, demon, I've suffered enough, but he
Is the hell's jackal, and is her greatest tormentor.
Awaken painter, she pleads from the ethereal realm,
In sweats uneasy slumber, but the artist shields his eyes to late,
And he has seen too much, for a mortal to so easily forget.
Upon the canvas is a dreams vision,
And trapped within, is she the soul of innocence,
Forever encased within this prison, a
Painter's revelation, called the portrait of a
Nightmare.

Just To Let You Know

I’ve eaten the chocolates you brought last night
in the box that was prettier then the taste of the candy

   oh…
forgive me, I don’t mean to sound ungrateful

   but...
I’m not that kind of girl you know
one who is bribed by roses and Whitmans

   nor...
am I likely to fall for fluid practiced lines
meant to make a girl swoon and fall in love
for a careless hour of your time
  with your hungry, shallow anticipations…
of removing my pearls and chemise

  you know…
the one who waits with excited expectations
  for your silvery seductions...
just yearning to be seduced
  by your lover boy’s touch

  or …
for a midnight tryst
that ends before it even begins

  oh yes...
I see your majolica, opaque heart
It reveals the opacity of your dull mind

  nay,...
you interest me not
my heart rises to the golden boy
the one who laughs with his eyes

  and...
he really does see me with his heart
the one who listens- who knows the color of my eyes
he spends $1 on my favorite kind of licorice

  not…
$20 for a meaningless box of chocolates or…
  roses meant only to impress

he's the one who learns quickly
he really wants to know things about me
those little endearments…

  you know...
like what my middle and last names are
he knows and sees what I have to offer
it will be appreciated by a true heart

for I am not an empty headed
  young, seductress
  waiting...
to sweep you off your feet
with empty lines and ploys

  no...
I am not that she
  who expects fancy gifts
unloading your checkbook of it's contents
putting out her soul for sale

  no...
I'm not some plastic Tinker toy
you put together and then pull apart

  so…
I think I’ll just wait until he comes along
  If not…
when I’m alone I’m happy
  the smell of the dogwood
their fragrance in the breeze
I’m okay with just being me

Dark as the night goddess, she is an ebony princess,
Blackest beauty whom sheds layers textures, as veils
Cast upon the breath of the night winds.
She the temptress enchantress, passion's desire burns
Within, these emerald eyes of seductions flame.
Fallen have men, and gods into shadow, faded by
Thus empress of the dark arts Magi.
Woven spells of intrigue entice the innocent,
To play deadly games of the lost, ending paradise
Illusions, but oh how they dream still, within
The realm of her kingdom.
Beware those of fragile soul, the black maiden's waltz
It is a singular pulse, beating at the heart of darkness,
Alive spiritual being, is she known as black.
The sun fell in love, with the first rays of the dawn,
Forlorn she cried unto the moon eclipse, and so he did
Comfort her, shielding thus within his embrace.
The child was given forth from their union,
Is she, black.
Royalties clinging robes, cover thus all in twilight’s
Faded hour, beauties most fair, inhales all light,
By shades quilting blanket, with the woven stars
Lain ever so gently amongst the heavens themselves.
Here she sits on golden throne, that orbits the universal
Immortals, casting dreams enchantments in a mystical,
Plan known only to her majesty, black.
Throw passions rose petal unto her temple pools,
Pray thee young lovers for blessings approval,
To thus goddess, the keeper of loves devotional
Faith.
In the ivory bricked temple of black, desires
Lustful heart of men, so is judged by the queen
Of enchantments, thy guardian of the dammed.
Oh beware the whitest rose left alone,
May be red at mornings first rays of light,
Or torn to shreds, leaving only a stem behind,
This goddess of silent fate, holds the answers,
And she only speaks in whispers by night.,
In her world of illusions, black after all
Is the dreaming goddess.

weapons

I’m a weapon of mass destruction
the kind that doesn't appeal to societies seductions
I am all about kingdom construction
The word of God is my daily instructions
I get an unction, how to function
Steering clear of those with no compunction

Everyone is focused on a getting a date
Instead of walking towards eternal gates
Sextually transmitted demons
don't come from a mans seamen
All those soul ties
Cut you down to size
Robbing you of the gifts inside
As you drift away, just like the tide

Many are Spiritually amputated
Claiming god is overrated
Many are Becoming Politically stimulated
While division causes opinions to be hated
Drinking from wells of perversion
All this chaos is a diversion
Intoxicated by greed
Overindulgence is what they feed.

In God we trust
Who's your god?
And what do you trust?
Dancing in the dark
Feasting on your lust
worshiping the third eye
Leading your soul to die

How can you walk when you're bound
He made a way for you to be found

How can you be free
When you can't see
How can you dance
When you've never given God a chance.

Rants and raves
Many are hiding in their caves
Minds are turning into tormented slaves

Poisons on our streets
Destruction has a beat
Poisons on our streets
destruction has a beat!
Get your fetty it's quite cheap,
Just a drop will knock you right off your feet.

Superman, A saving grace
With a wink, and nod and a smile on his face

They claim he will bring peace
If you surrender to the beast
They claim there will be love
If you reject the one above
The storm is coming
The storm is here!
Injecting you with all their fear
They want you to pay no mind
To all these warning signs
They want you to pay no mind
So you'll be left behind!

...“A Virgin, Upon The Altar of Her Heavenly Love.”

Premium Member The Stars Hush

Within the first moment of loving him, the stars
Fell silent in a soft whispers hush, mine beloved,
Sent from the spiritual gardens above, was this
Precious rose, whom pierced my heart with cupids
Thorny prong’s of devotion.
A melting comet descends, shattering my frozen
Crystalized soul within, for loving him I thus live
Again, and am renewed showed by his sacred
Petals of tenderness.
Passion’s fire in the blue skies of his eyes I’m
So lost, drowning heart first within seductions
Universe, divinities cascading shards of pleasure
Clasp as shooting stars singing our silken sheets
Of forever.
Silvered pieces of stardust dart above us,
As we promise our vows beneath the vast
Canvas of heaven, for in loving him two separate
Half’s have become whole, I’ve found the eying to
My yang, forming perfections circle of enlightenment.
Interconnecting vines woven around my emotions,
Blossom with blooms of his budding devotion,
In loving him I’ve found roots nourishment,
Growing stronger by his shinning smile,
And sunshine’s rays of everlasting kisses.
Oh do not the lords of the galactic universe,
Dancing within the fields of the twilight hour,
In tune with our wedding march, in timeless
Reflections do the pools of the moon,
Ripple with the hushed silence, as two
Lovers walk beneath them in reverences
After glow.
For in loving him, I’ve found my hero of
Companionship, devotion, and soul mate.
He is the lucky star that guides the rhythms
Pathway forward and where he goes I
Shall follow always.
Within the first moment of loving him, the stars
Fell silent in a soft whispers hush, mine beloved,
Sent from the spiritual gardens above, was this
Precious rose, whom pierced my heart with cupids
Thorny prong’s of devotion.
