Premium Member Emphasized

The quiet of the early morn
Emphasized by doves' songs
And crickets chirpinng melodies
To Beethoven belongs

Above a canvas painted bright
Done by the Master's hand
Blues so clear and bright and pinks
Now unknown to man

Just enough wispy clouds stretched across
To absorb the morn's sun
Silvery fog reaching down low
Caressing pines with fun

Sand upon the cottony clouds
While the sun is nestled
On the earth's horizon~ captured
In memories' moments

Through the trees a red fire ball sun
Shines glowing hot again
Another scorcher this summer day
Grateful for time to pen

Wonderful a few minutes alone
To enjoy nature's still
Soon life will pick up and move on
My spirit's been refilled

Premium Member The Richness of My Love

The richness of my love defies belief
Luxuriant and silky are my dreams
With warmth and passion sweet I hover near
Caressing hands and kisses flow in streams

I nourish hunger of the deepest kind
The darkest secrets of your soul reveal
No need to feel ashamed or hide away
Your brokenness with love I will conceal

The fantasy you dare not breathe a soul
For fear your need will meet unbending heart
Now whisper softy in my listening ear
And let me bring to life its every part

I am your Passion Queen, give in to me
Now part your lips and let me give a treat
Yes, take it in, and savor now my breast
For it’s been dipped in honey ever sweet

In jasmine perfumed bed now gently lie
As hands dripping with oil your body tease
Entangled in my hair, your hands command
My lips and mouth that hunger now to please

Desire will not wait a moment more
I give myself to you to be possessed
You sink into warm softness of my core
A mutual release of bodies pressed

My heart the only candle left to burn
Your body bathed, you’re now enticed to sleep
Before you’re whisked away to dreamland fair
I whisper promised love, an ocean deep

Mostly, she had the heebie jeebies, peaking at early risers
Outside, morning was muted with its first faint flush
Right before bristled being, allure of dawn shook her
Noah's voice and patriarchs of old floated by
Imagine those coils; Delilah had come to nip
Night looked on, swelled with pride remorse would rise
God of heaven and earth knew Minerva could be healed.

Nothing moves miraculously as the Almighty
Once she could hear her own obsequy; such living dead
Out on paths of ruin, Minerva ran and ran
Noon's scorcher, and blizzard, and torrents knew she'd show.

Night was of rain and song; of mind cruise to Caribbean hometown
Ideally, one sky light, alone time, and quietude was craved
God of her mother spoke nothing into something
Head lights once broken, beamed, then glowed
That spring; the new millennium sprung fresh light, water, air, and fire.

Spring starts the year with soft flowers
Sometimes brought with gentle showers
Air fragrant with scents that devours
Hues so bright and bold that glowers
Green grass which also empowers
Rabbits hide in brush and cowers
Blue skies show their calming powers
Buds seem to open through the hours
Winter waves goodbye through scourers
Spring’s beautiful tales are all ours
~
Summer opens with stunned fervor
Welcome sun rays that do nurture
Beach trips that add life preserver
Roses in much shades add favor
Small cookouts bring the server
Birds fly past to gently murmur
Kids buy cones in every flavor
Trimming hedges seems so clever
Lawns are mown for the observer
Summer’s joy, the perfect merger
~
Autumn creates a sense of peace
With leaves falling softly to cease
Limbs stark and naked to decease
Mums create a vivid showpiece
Lakes say sad goodbyes to the geese
The crunch of the leaves does increase
Bouncing in raked leaves is caprice
Some take nature walks without fleece
These cheerful blushes are so nice
Autumn’s certainly God’s showpiece
~
Winter brings in the harsh weather
As the birds may lose a feather
Horses bridled with smooth leather
Gigs throw snow round altogether
Some ride sleds that they will tether
Cardinals trust the snow measure
Many love snow days much better
It seems nice to wear a sweater
Ice hangs down from eaves together
Winter’s blessings are a treasure
~
Spring’s forests fill with wildflowers
A time that brings no wallflowers
Summer’s sunshine is a searcher
Some days bring about a scorcher
Autumn brings about a new lease
For a season shared with a niece
Winter’s clear skies last forever
Reminding us to take shelter
God’s paintbrush portrays the seasons
Showing us He has His reasons

Brrr! It's a Scorcher!

Newspapers once were fine, I am convinced.
Since Nixon left the stage to newbie Newsom,
each time I went to open one, I winced.

The policies of Hillary? No chance!
They’ll tell you where her hair is cut and rinsed,
the salsa classes where she goes to dance!

What stock investments will I need to go for,
If Trump gives way, one day, to J.D. Vance?
The papers teach me more about his sofa!

My interest inevitably ebbs.
The suavest slingback and the latest loafer
do not enthral me. Even less, celebs!

Some starlet’s Oscar outfit, voted ‘gruesome’?
What do I care? The same for wifi, webs,
or if some actress has enhanced her bosom.

Spring with full bright blossoms in cheers or zing.
             Dulcet sunshine never turning scorcher.
Pigeons flutter in frolic to fling.
Colourful flowers blooming : Spring’s culture.

            Crocus showing delightful decorum .
            Cosmos glistening yellow -violet chiffon
Cloudless sky shine silky on Sun’s spectrum.
Butterflies flying freely off and on.

Bidding bye to snowy frosty Winter,
Fresh freesia sending sweet scent to flow.
Lively lovely jolly Spring to enter.
Birds sing honouring holy Spring to bow.

Spring stitching luminous lustre like gold.
Resurrection of soothing sense from cold .

Torment of the Mind: Part Two

Everything in the past that could get her down
Plays in her mind to the sound
Of sweet torture.
It's a scorcher
Like the burning suns rays on a hot day
Traumatic thoughts must have his way

Burn those memories!
Don't allow them to resurface
Find an outlet for your energy
Don't let them make you feel worthless!

Traumatic thoughts depressingly inteferes
Fades away and then reappears
He recalls every failure
All her socially awkward behavior
Scattered in her mind
Stop being so unkind...
To yourself!
Place these memories on a shelf

Tranquilize those memories!
Because they want to resurface
Find an outlet for your energy
You are not worthless!
You are beautiful and bold
Get a hold
Of yourself...
Restore your health.

I'Ve Got Jesus's Face On a Wallet Insert

I've got Jesus's face on a wallet insert
by Michael R. Burch

for the Religious Right

I've got Jesus's face on a wallet insert
and "Hell is for Queers" on the back of my shirt.
And I uphold the Law,
for Grace has a Flaw:
the Church must have someone to drag through the dirt.

I've got ten thousand reasons why Hell must exist,
and you're at the top of my fast-swelling list!
You're nothing like me,
so God must agree
and slam down the Hammer with His Loving Fist!

For what are the chances that God has a plan
to save everyone: even Boy George and Wham!?
Eternal fell torture
in Hell's pressure scorcher
will separate *****from Man.

I'm glad I'm redeemed, ecstatic you're not.
Did Christ die for sinners? Perish the thought!
The "good news" is this:
soon My Vengeance is his!,
for you're not the lost sheep I sought.

Premium Member Scorcher- In the Faraway

I walk alongside the seashore crimson,
Reflection of the twilight of sky,
That precedes the raunchy and beamy night,
Moon shines and stars dance around.

Sickle of moon slivers my heart,
Playing hide and seek, discover my soulmate,
Under vastness of expanse and seductive wind,
Cover of colourful leaves, earth amatory.

The twosome go bawdy and carnal,
Holding me in his arms, gets me close,
I feel his breath on my neck,
And his skin next to mine.

Gazing at his face in moonlight,
These moments are special and divine,
Sultry and aphrodisiac, enamoured in love,
As if never to part, till death in unison!!

Am I fitful,
fluctuating, fluid?
thin compass waver
as I jubilantly weave
lilac tree vignettes
that weep or chortle,
rainbow figment curtain
rashly wished upon
in grain smudge zephyr
garnet sand raw vehicle
garden common opal
transit sidestep
to a multiverse
of sappy fruit drip
net bag of niche
mauve rim canopy
a gilt ring culprit’s
flashpoint conjure
stirring taxi cabs
of lavish spurt
woolgathering
a gold rush stray
footslog must
have steel encased.
undulating folds
entangled nomad feint
dwarf yellow scorcher
firmament fatality
dash for straw hut
casita or elm
wood cabin where
advertence on
turnpikes, trails,
woven tracks lead
trajectory abuts
plod along dry path
dust bowl swirling as
they spurn allotments
meek enshrouded lull
with unalloyed poise
to jettison narcolepsy
brief embargo on
spiral plumule
when one’s physique
has many harrowing
gasps, taut breath
that intrinsic quest
for glistening cascade
seems an urgent
void, crushing
diapason rudderless
mahatma clement at
Arcadias nascent
totem of egress
yet charismatic
terminal flag
as this sentient
hypothesiser on
emerald tint bract
beneath hiking boot
unflinching
wild clasp at
beanpole verges
riven from
shade burst cockcrow
lure an impetus
to meandered pretext
primeval boon-docks
whilst tranquil flit
discommoding tawdry
pitch or tilt
gaunt endowment
I must brood on
surreal moiety
of cerebral aspect
squandered
rude reckoning aside
lapse into sullen
vacuum found across
a link whose blind
velvet crush lingers
query later doused
in vapour whirl gush
inkling thin veneer
sheeny beadlet
brow sapped
nod and falter
to a childhood turf
shelter for the limb
victim of grinding
marathon on marathon
to relish glow hue noons
hermetically abeyant
sempiternal eves
avenue to wanderer
fatigued yet still
in broad pursuit
of deep quiddity
