Clusters of grapes hanging by vines
Wonderous delights make fine wines
Cultivating a sense of fragile esteem
Coloring the moment a heavenly scheme
~
Paths of gorgeous greenery discovered
Welcoming scenes that were smothered
By fern, pine and laurel; emerald galore
Beauties hidden like never seen before
~
Gardens of pink, red and gold flowers
Sometimes hidden beneath the showers
Blaze bright in the dewy dawn’s sunlight
Heaven’s whisper sending down birthright
~
Captivating hedges and rows of vivid blooms
Clusters of miracles threatening the glooms
Forever rising against the most brutal forces
Even giving life to the dance of pretty orchids
~
Roses reason with the calming summer breeze
Overjoyed that there is no worry of a freeze
Sensations sending angel’s whispering music
To all those who tenderly feed their musing
~
All the glories of God’s captivating planet
From the luscious orange to the pomegranate
There are blessings beyond what we deserve
Filling our hearts with gentle caresses to preserve
~
Wherever I go, whatever I do, there are miracles
We live in a land that is so alive it seems biblical
The Master artist planned all this for our enjoyment
We must always thank Him for such entertainment
Today the bite of frost nibbles
On icy dusk and rain-spun grass
When prayers glide of nighttime down,
As battle strikes your whispers yield
Through ambushed maze drilling around.
Yet heartbeats vow for honor, true
Enduring nights…freedom pursued.
Kismet of hope is in the air
While we all feel your longing thoughts
Miles away…sweet tidings declare
Your dreams fluttering in chilled fall
About scenes of love and dear home’s care.
The rising star a grain of gold
In moments brave soldiers behold.
Then victory blazes in red
Matching the robin as it sings
From soar of peace…from soar of might
A courage blessed through godly will
Heroes return as breaths alight.
The autumn lays her colors by
As wishes crown your promised sky.
Mystic Rose's Write To Our Heroes Contest

and my father who fought in the war~

Cumulonimbus lurking
peering over white-topped peaks
like childhood's hunchbacked monsters
waiting there to pounce
Shadows lick the creviced slopes
as white and green become gray
lights flash behind the drawn shades
of ominous clouds
Darkness pours into valleys
where rows of birches waver
as if nervously laughing
on the river shore
Relentlessly advancing
the storm growls and cracks and snaps
and the landscape disappears
behind wind and rain
God's angry swords slash the dark
each plunge deep with loud report
and all bow at its advance
some shatter and fall
Gone now like it never came
still grumbling as it departs
to disturb more peaceful scenes
beyond the valley
Halfway up the mountainside
the sun plays at the tree line
below a more peaceful gray
ushers in the night

Published in a seasonal anthology Kind of a Hurricane Press
Like all seasons, IT too will come and IT will go,
But perhaps IT may linger longer to help us grow;
And if IT should be prolonged, IT is because God commands IT so.
Whether or not IT can be called a season or not, I don't really know,
Because seasons aren't just known by their coming and going each year.
They are also recognized by what they bring and what they take away from us.
Like the Fall season that brings a breeze and the falling of leaves from the trees. Like the Spring that brings resurrection, a new leap of life and fresh scenes of beauty. But upon the disappearing of Autumn, so departs the glorious breathtaking colors of orange. Yes, the luster of the roses of Spring may linger till Fall but never are they as heavenly.
THE FIFTH SEASON, if we are permitted to call it thus, will follow this 2020 cloud of death and despair. If after COVID 19 has run its course, we find ourselves more caring and loving, more faithful and true; if we discover that we are less political, less divisive, less hateful, and less cruel, shall we not have experienced gains and not losses? Shall we not have stretched farther than we thought we could? Indeed, a new season shall certainly come as surely as steam follows heated water, as Winter follows Fall.
Our new season shall make us better, bigger, stronger, truer, wiser, more lovelier and more alive. After the storm, the battering, and the beating, we shall awaken and rise to a new norm. No, we don't know when, but perhaps by then, after being so severely blown by such fierce winds, we will be able to agree with the wise one who said, "To everything there is a time and season, and a time to every purpose under heaven".*

WALT WHITMAN PURSUING BEAUTY
( In his 200 Aniversary )
His Biosphere, his Biorealm, his Bioprovince
His Bioregion, his Biolocale
Beat plunged humming “Leaves of Grass”
Throught drunken twisted paths
Stumbling pleasures and thinking about
The quality of being different
Transparent, unthinkable
Just talking from experience
Tracing the tread of our heads
Into a web and so mysterious and clear.
Despite the Presbyterian pastor’ words
Ralph Smith
Saying with envy and burr:
- Walter is a Freeroamer of Love
That has converted the Locust Grove School
In a School of Sodoma
Or the John Peter Lesley’s, geologist:
-Walter is a “pretencious gil”
And his Leaves of Grass
Are “profane and obscene trash”
Walter and his Leaves of Grass
Still are a promise and a delight.
We’ve been thinking about his offer
And their answer is a strong tentative yes.
I love it:
His new possible consciousness of the Earth
Filled with demons – making scenes
Of Love and Freedom
Wastings what he has given to You and me:
Leaves of Grass
And its natural science: that the Earth
Is the center of the attention
Not another’s manipulation on it.
It is a lovely pamphlet of possible Life.
O honey
Walter, You’re an acorus calamus
I love You.
Sprawling eagles' wings of freedom glean upon this God blessed land.
Huckleberries abound upon rich forest tapestry.
Salmon spawn in glistening waters aplenty.
Indigo mountains are crowned with crisp doilies.
Laughing waves clap upon coastal pebbles and sands,
with dunes designating an anticipated vacation.
Flatlands form the heartland foundation.
Demographically diverse are we.
Prideful skyscrapers collide with weather of every sort.
Churches, temples, cathedrals, and synagogues safely abide in city scenes.
A smorgasbord of aromatic awe permeates food cart streets, as authentic and varied as American souls.
With skin, hair, and eyes preciously unique, we share similar pleasures.
Churros, gyros, spatzle, spring rolls, kielbasa, pizza, and tikka masala kababs burst with awaited flavor.
Aquatic centers, theaters, stadiums, museums, amusement parks, festivals, and malls sprawl
with leisure excitement.
Families thrive as children are taught to read and write and parents sacrificially provide food, clothing, and a sanitary shelter.
We are free to own land, raise animals, and harvest from our garden.
Founded on Christian principles and faith, we work hard to earn our signature grandeur and pray hard to keep it.

Some time ago
One or the few of human beings
Had figured to create a crepe
Before
They were hunting birds
And covering their bodies with no feathers
In clay
…
Produce the GUILLOTINE
….
And throwing those birds in fire
They figured clay is hardened by the this
And this resulted in cookware introduction
With what
The boiled foods appeared in Mankind
Due very basic eating the desire
This finding
This the finding
This the very finding
You were supposed to found
Being by then by nothing stupid really bound
The Garlic can be prophylactic or the medicinal
Stupidity against the modern world there is no vaccina
Some time ago
The humans were drawing scenes of hunt on caves the stones
Today they want that everything is digitized
Researchers, wankers, users of the phone
We reckon shall be greatly minimized
And then in land or the prior the agriculture
We won't be buying the imported the the fruit
For price exceeding any sane the bound
These centimeters are these way converted proper to the foot
Month eight
was great
month nine
will shine
hot days
sun rays
turn cool
the rule
as fall
will call
to change
arrange
new scenes
by means
new glow
bestow
with red
instead
plus gold
to hold
our view
as new
landscapes
escape
dark greens
serene
will fade
leaves laid
to keep
asleep
month nine
will shine
Love of Horror
When shadows lengthen, and the moon hangs low,
My heart beats fast, a thrilling, eager glow.
For whispers chilling, and for blood-red gleam,
I find my comfort in a waking dream.
The creaking floorboards, the unearthly wail,
A twisted plot, a terror-filled tale.
No gentle rom-com, no drama's soft embrace,
But monsters lurking, leaving not a trace.
From classic slashers to the psychological fright,
I seek the darkness, bathed in eerie light.
The jump scares jolt, the tension holds me tight,
A delicious shiver in the dead of night.
So bring the ghouls, the vampires, and the fiends,
The ancient curses, and the nightmare scenes.
For in the horror, I find a strange delight,
And slumber soundly, dreaming of the fright.
we're in perilous times and its become very hard
to function as children of the most high God
the chaos, the havoc, we no longer have a norm
Ice agent snatching folks up
while not wearing official uniforms
we need on the job training
as we work this Christian Life
we need practical experience
to implement the teachings of Christ
this corrupt world destined to perish
is in total disarray
but God said I'll give you a future
if you just follow my ways
now with the responsibility and godly prepared
to properly function with a spirit of no fear
we need on the job training
as we work this Christian Life
we need practical experience
to implement the teachings of Christ
We now face an influx of evil
and need to comprehend
that as carriers of the gospel
we will always win
for the synopsis of Jesus's ministry
will give us the means
to work and to be witnesses
as we worship behind the scenes
so let God's power in us
manifest and transform
as we actively train on the job
with a righteous reform
we need on the job training
as we work this Christian Life
we need practical experience to implement
the teachings of Jesus Christ
yes, we are witnessing corruption on a massive scale
yes we are witnessing greed and lust
But God's sanctity will prevail
Now equipped with the full armor of God
Now taking up the challenge from the start
we had on the job training
we now work this Christian Life
we now have the experience to implement
the teachings of Jesus Christ
playtime is over
the work is getting done
we're staying faithful and committed
until the challenge is won
we have completed training.
we now work this Christian Life
now fully prepared to implement
the teachings of our Lord Christ
