Will there ever be total peace in the world
Or am I just a silly old goon
As long as loonies want more than their share
Even want a piece of the moon
Good people of earth will forever resist
When countries get too big for their britches
And want much more than they're entitled
Like a bigger share of the world's riches
They risk the chance of destroying our planet
Destroying it for their own greedy plans
They can't be allowed to accomplish their goals
The future of mankind is at hand
These brutal subhumans must be stopped at all cost
Their plan is usually world domination
Sound familiar? Reminiscent of World War II?
Must avoid the same contamination
So with the time I have left of a wonderful life
What a fitting climax it would be
To wake up one morning before getting the call
Finding all world's people are free!

There is a grosser I often chat with, on my way from work,
a veteran with tales of the long war, and his own heroics of ferrying food to the front and
carrying the wounded on the stretcher, drenched in blood, until a nerve bomb knocked him unconscious for months.
But when the American and Israeli bombs started turning our city block into an inferno,
he rushed to a hiding but kept the store open with a sign that read, take what you like, pay later. War discount ten percent.
This is a city of courage,
a haven from fear,
a warrior city,
unreconciled to humiliation and defeat,
a sanctuary of faith,
a mosaic of independent wills to resist.
the enemy tries to temt us in many diffrent ways
the enemy tries to tempt us every single day
but the lord helps us with anythign that may come our way
giving us oppertunties to pray
prayer helps us through anythig that lies ahaead
so if you ever feel tempted
just talk to God instead
God will make you stronger
and wont let you stumble or fall
no matter how great the temptations
God will Help you stand against them all.
PROMISES FROM GOD:
1 Corinthians 10:13 . . . Remember that the temptations that come into your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will keep the temptation from becoming so strong that you can’t stand up against it. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you will not give in to it.
No temptation is too great to resist.
Don’t even try to woo me
I can resist you
My mind is fortified
Reason screams reasons to be careful
Caution goes off in flares
My mind is alert
Aware
I can resist you
Oh, but my body
My body plays traitor...
My eyes adore you….
they take in every detail
of your face
your body
every contour and muscle
every masculine trait of virility
Your lips…my eyes linger on your lips
And make love to them……
My eyes speak surrender
My hands tremble
and give me away
I clasp them together…tight
knuckles white
For in another minute
they would escape and seek sanctuary on your body
Caressing your cheeks, your chin
they would travel down your neck
feeling the protruding strength as you swallow
they would take ecstatic trips across the expanse of your chest
Finally moving around your waist to pull you in
My teeth bite my lips
in an effort to keep my tongue imprisoned
for it longs to be unleashed
to run along the lines of your face
to slide on your lips...wetting them with want
making them part
so that it can dip inside your mouth and play
to lose its way
all over your body
I can resist you
My mind is fighting valiantly
to keep my body in check
Oh, but I feel damp desire spread
in the heat of your presence
As you move closer
Looking down into my eyes
I exhale the pent up emotions
brought on by the ripples of anticipation
longing for a touch
that I want so much
and my body's ablaze
this passion craze
Floods my face
rosy red
I can’t look away
and you smile
a warm slow smile
You smile
knowing the battle of mind over body
is about to end
my body will yield
submit in surrender
because your fierce made me tender
And so with the confidence and grace
of a seasoned soldier
you move in for the kill
agile with thrill
you hand tilts my chin up
and your mouth covers mine
smothering the words of protest
the mind has sent as last minute backup
you hold me up
crushed against your enveloping body
as I collapse into your arms
My mind?
prisoner of war
gagged and bound
empty of thought
ravaged by sensations
As you work your way
to your final victory claim
Knowing as you do
That you
Are
irresistible

Walk with apt strides down those tricky stairs
And keep your eyes a few steps ahead of you,
Wave at friends without forgetting your legs;
On mightier thoughts stay focused and true.
Ignore the clamor of howling fools
But take note of the suffering around,
Resist the urge to join the raucous crowds
By keeping your eyes glued to the ground.
You’ll never see all the beautiful gals in the world,
So why entertain collision with some oncoming car
While you stare and marvel at the few around you?
Appreciate the artwork and let your thoughts roam far.
Let not the charismatic preacher take you astray
By buying you into his self-absorbed schedules
For Heaven’s honored when mortals respect time,
And angels minister to silent hearts bound to rules.
The honorable others – the trees and the birds,
Take their choruses and rhythms as food for soul;
Never have they uttered a single misplaced tune
For they sing to make your solemnity fit and whole.
When folks are young, they may feel blessed
But I coped with bullies, life felt stressed,
I started eating a lot, food always there
In theory a good thing, in my case a snare,
I ate whole boxes of doughnuts, chocolate cake too
Into my mouth, tasty pastries flew
Ate myself sick, could not disgorge
Then tried to run it off, body in a forge
Got strange symptoms, my extremities cold
Felt fatigue in the morning, I was young, but felt old
When I had a craving, to voraciously eat
In the battle of will, it was always a defeat.
The Hypothalamus is a pea shaped organ in the brain
Supposed to regulate craving, but my mark of Cain
Suppose to regulate reproductive urges too
When that kicked in, shame added to the stew
Not good or bad, food is meant to subsist
but If I went by a bakery, I could not resist
I'd pay for the delicacies, eat them standing there
People looked at me, I pretended not to care
Tried to eat bulk, solve the craving crime
In dark alleys, ate whole watermelons at a time,
If I had to buy something, I'd mail home the change
A life of privilege, led to something so strange.
Food was my master, it controlled me.
But I fasted part time, that's how I broke free.
I quieted down the enemy, now a friend
Got a second wind, a damaged man on the mend.
Got Shock Treatments, and Thorazine,
Helped with the symptoms, stopped snacks, wiped clean.
It wasn't all normal, I needed tricks for control
Trying to conquer what swallowed my soul.
The past can't be changed, but can one break the spell?
Avoid the positive feedback into hell?
You have to be selective, not clear out life's shelf
Discipline is needed for sanity and health
Not much is known about the traps in the mind
I've been in some, hope I left them behind
Should I blame myself, or blame my brain
Can any recrimination wipe out the stain?
When you're down in this life, baddies swoop with glee
Like vultures circling a wounded prey, they came for me.
They latched on, like an octopus in a marsh
I tried to tell my story, but it sounded mad, too harsh.
But it did make me think, as the iron rules kicked in
A harsh lesson learned in a world where mercy runs thin.
I should turn my back on the past, though I should not forget
My new problems are worse, but I freed my mind from the net
When dark thoughts begin to consume your life.
And your days are becoming filled with pain or strife.
Call out to God, is where you should begin.
Then God's Holy Spirit moves in like a friend.
In the darkest of times his light will shine.
Bringing amazing peace to our heart and mind.
He separates our darkness with his light.
Relaxing us when we feel uptight.
Deep within his voice can be heard.
An impression is felt or you might hear a word.
Telling you that things will be ok.
Or to change a direction and walk another way.
Pour your heart out to him, he wants to hear.
Don't resist his prompting. Allow him to draw near.
Tell him you're scared or you just don't know.
What to do next, or which way to go.
It's okay to say "God! Help me to believe?"
Or keep people from you that might try to deceive.
Ask God to tell you what He wants you to do.
It is his will to make these things known to you.
Sit still quietly, waiting for His words.
Deep in your heart, positive thoughts will be heard.
Thoughts forced upon you, will not be his voice.
God's love allows us each to make our own choice.
When thoughts float from inside, similar to his word.
Or in your mind a loving and kind voice can be heard.
Chances are that's God, this is what you should do.
It's okay to question. Asking "Lord! is that you?"
Write down each thought that comes across your mind.
Separate the good from the bad ones and you will find.
Its' the ones that reflect some form of love.
Are the thoughts that speak to us from above.
Cross out the ones that just don't feel right.
The ones that encourage you to hate, hurt or fight.
Whenever bible verse come to your mind.
That seem to be related to events at the time.
Do as they say and let peace be your guide.
You are going the wrong way when you feel stress inside.
We're designed by our Father for good and to show love.
Any voice or thoughts contrary to this, is not from above.
“The ego within forced me to resist
But now I wish I had effused a love mist
With aplomb and flair, just kind of left it there
For self-aware souls passing by, who choose to pair”---- Line of inquiry
As we roamed under the star-spangled sky,
Sharing many a trivial thought
I failed to voice my clandestine whim,
Carefully structured within my mind’s alcove
When words were suddenly broken up
With a lump forming in my throat
I failed to convey what I meant,
In a language explicit for you to grasp.
Gazing at each other, as we stood
Without uttering a word aloud
You failed to notice my saddened eyes,
Glistening with tears, about to shed
At the end of a pleasant, united jaunt
As our roads diverged in opposite tracks
We failed to say even a parting word,
As a gesture of courtesy, due for both.
Now in the twilight of the setting sun
When the past has dwindled slowly away
We remain in our cloistered cells,
Failing to forget what has transpired.
How I wish I had expressed myself!
Was it my ego or the fear of rejection,
Or was it a lack of confidence, not quite sure,
That punctured the love mist and prevented us from pairing?
"I wandered lonely as a cloud" - William Wordsworth
I wandered lonely as a mist,
blissful, aware, yearning to share
but closed hearts waving a clenched fist,
were not souls with whom I could pair,
yet love’s pull was strong, so I sang
hymns in God’s praise, till death’s bell rang.
Death of form passed, I was reborn,
this time around, as a sun ray,
God’s gift of life, that none could scorn,
for which all souls earnestly pray
but there were some, who crouched in fear,
holding yet, dark delusion dear.
Love and light as my attributes,
my form had fully vaporised,
firmly in heaven, were my roots,
doing as was by God advised,
quietly sowing seeds of love,
donning symbol of the peace dove.
Soaring thus at zenith like height,
I saw that God in-dwells each form,
felt by pure hearts as bliss delight,
surrendered to this benign storm.
Void like space, ceasing to resist,
I wandered lonely, as a mist.

A boundless smile, there is beauty to behold
Toward serene and luminous field adds more flowers in gold
But its on golden moonbeams I take my flight
For the caress of your fragrant petals of white
As a butterfly slides slowly on the winds
Like the numberless pictures and sounds in minds
I catch your scent upon the breeze
A fragrance of seductive tease
A painting impresses my mind, the setting sun
Painted in colors of such beauty, her rays are spun
But I come to you as Luna's lullaby
A dulcet melody in the night sky
I swirl around your aura, my beautiful flower
Unable to resist your enchanting power
The future with you, each and every day nearest
To the rest of our lives, in loving embrace my dearest
At the end of the day, the heavens gleam
Sleep now, no pain will wake you from your dream
So I'll leave you Luna's lullaby before I depart
To keep in harmony, the rhythm of our hearts
