Premium Member Things I Tell God

When I pray, I tell Jehovah,
the loving thoughts, I think
How amazing CREATION, the
freshwater … that I drink

When I pray, I tell Jehovah,
why I’m always grateful
Gift, of “ONLY BEGOTTEN SON,”
forever … be thankful

When I pray, I tell Jehovah,
how much, I love his Son
Appreciate “Ransom” Christ paid,
the thing’s he’ll do …  has done

When I pray, I tell Jehovah,
“GODLY WISDOM”, desire
Scriptures, reprove, discipline, and
teach me … goals to aspire

When I pray, I tell Jehovah,
his “POWER”, find awesome!
I can’t begin to understand,
amazing things … he’s done

When I pray, I tell Jehovah,
“JUSTICE”, appreciate
 MERCY learned is not partial, if
repent … for the mistake

When I pray, I tell Jehovah,
His” LAWS, I dearly love
Grateful for his loving concern,
his “GUIDANCE” … from above

When I pray, I tell Jehovah
I love his “HUMOR” too
Love watching monkeys he designed,
the silly things … they do

When I pray, I tell Jehovah,
the feelings in my heart
Why can’t I put “LOVE”, into words,
or paint it … in my art?

Hidden Needs

When regret returns to reprove me,
sadness pours over me like a relentless rainfall,
if I had given more attention to glances
to detect hidden needs, I wouldn't be longing for sympathy...
that sympathy I didn't have for others or myself;
isn't it kind of late to hear that call?

Cry heart, and let the anger escape
while it yearns for forgiveness and a desire to smile,
why didn't you give everything by walking that extra mile?
If a blind is able to see the limpidness of a lake,
and a lame take the first steps into the light of day,
why didn't you love, uncaring heart ...why did you hide away?

No lesson is easily learned when distraction sways
your attention to accept worthless things in vague ways;
no sorry feeling is quickly overcome with an apology:
before you admit your guilt, step back into reality...
and it occurs to me that I didn't do enough
to help others when their life was tough.

Look for those troubling signs, read expressions on hopeless faces:
they are full of hidden needs waiting on someone to unlock them
from the depth of their trapped souls... open up and reach out to them,
never expecting a remarkable reward for weaving love with strong laces.

Premium Member My God, Thank You For Taking Me Away Toward You

March 17 Scripture Meditations Based on 2Kings 1-5

Key Verse – 2Kings 2:3 And the sons of the prophets that were at Bethel came forth to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the LORD will take away thy master from thy head to day? And he said, Yea, I know it; hold ye your peace.

MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR TAKING ME AWAY TOWARD YOU

Thank You for taking me away toward You from what You forbid
Against sinfulness, obnoxiously gruesome of effects that are morbid
So that I can forsake wickedness that’s sordid
By Your holiness where You bid me that’s biblically candid.

Thank You for taking me away toward You from what You don’t support
Against falsities, deceitfully bringing evil report
So that I can bear fruit with Your favor’s comfort
By Your grace where You bless me in Your provision-fort.

Thank You for taking me away toward You from what You hate
Against idolatry, fatally alluring as a satanic bait
So that I can stand with conviction for Your mandate
By Your love where You pull me inside Your fellowship’s gate.

Thank You for taking me away toward You from what You don’t approve
Against hypocrisy, obviously hiding in meekness’ cloak You disapprove
So that I can repent sincerely with my earnestness to prove
By Your wisdom where You check me as my bad motives You reprove.

Thank You for taking me away toward You from what You defy
Against rebellion, perilously instigating my disobedience to intensify
So that I can follow Your instructions and Your name glorify
By Your power where You place me to testify.

Thank You for taking me away toward You from what You don’t enforce
Against slothfulness, definitely leaving me fruitless in my spiritual course
So that I can work hard as faithful stewardship You endorse
By Your guidance where You lead upon Your strength’s source.

Dark

Retarded limbs in dark surrounds,
Embattled heart ‘n muffled sounds;
Dying hope of life abounds
I am winded to the gut.

Slowly sinking through the clay,
Sly emotions slip and sway,
Tomorrow is another day
and I am winded to the gut.

Pain takes charge of limb and head,
Feeling like I need a bed,
Read a book; pray instead
I’m so winded, to the gut?
                 *
Twitching throat and anxiety,
“Heart, practice piety”
Re-integrate ‘to society
and rise above this deadly rut
                 *
Once thought it’s gone and then
Alas, it intrudes without pardon,
Rudely again my heart to harden,
I’m kicked again, in my gut.

Cycle, cycle, this awful groove,
Shakes it’s hand in sick reprove,
Denigration with one swift move!
I’m so winded in my gut.

So what now, my hopeless host;
Can you prevail above this ghost?
Healing physician – lost your boast?
I’m still winded to the gut.

Is that a light in this dark cave or
just some glow fly at the grave?
What will me from this dark pit save?
I bow my head and hold my gut.

Time passes by relentlessly;
Who’s in control – you or me?
These questions mean I still can’t see!
Oh, such turmoil in my gut.

Premium Member He Holds My Hand

God awakens me every morning
With a beautiful sunny light
Fills my mind with good thoughts
My heart with a sense of joy

God opens new doors for me to enter
Doors of hope, welcome and tender
Filling me with assurance and a sense…
That everything in life is getting better

God whispers His mysteries to my heart
Reminding me that I have second chances
To be the person He intended from the first
Compassionate, inspiring and filled with faith

God challenges me to reach toward my dreams
With a faith that everything will be as it should be
I can be certain He will send me wisdom and creativity
Pieces of His heaven right here on this earth

God enlightens the feelings that soothe me
Comforting words from the Bible He opens
To reprove me with His welcoming promises
Meant to give me a new approach, guidance

God inspires me to give from my heart
With a generosity that I wouldn’t know
Unless He sent me the help from above
The inspiration of His pure, sweet love

God excites me with the fire of His spirit
Shaking me up, reminding me to look around
Discover the answers within His best laid plans
The possibilities within His blessed tactics

God enlivens me, filing me with new life
When I feel lost or alone, He stirs my heart
Reveals the truth to me and tells me I am loved
By the One who created me, the One who is Everything

The creator God brings me through it all
Even when I’m sure I’ll never be able to come through
He reaches out and grips my hand, telling me…
With Him beside me, I can make it through anything!

This verse has encouraged me through so many bad times:

Isaiah 41:13 – For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.

Word Hoard

They say if you don’t use a thing for a year
It’s time to get rid of it, just to be clear
Feel free to sell it or give it away
But to get clutter free, just don’t let it stay

So, I checked my garage for stuff I could lose--
and found hundreds of words I simply don’t use!

Lilliputian and Sprightly stood on a shelf
Elbow-to-elbow with some wry little elf
Bucolic and Bumpkin were squirreled away
Beneath a big bale of bright yellow hay

Garish and Gaudy were in a glittery box
with Trinkets and Baubles set with fake rocks
Surreptitious and Unobtrusive tried to avoid being seen
But I caught 'em sneaking off with Clandestine

Beyond these loose words, which filled many a bin
Lay whole turns of phrase like Much to My Chagrin
I held up to the light a Gossamer Veil
Then dumped it in a Perfidious Betrayal

An Ethereal Cloud, glued to the ceiling
I scraped off with an Ambivalent Feeling
I rolled back the rug to see what I'd missed,
There before me stretched a Yawning Abyss

Into a huge crate, these big words I did toss
Bobbing on top were Flotsam, Jetsam and Dross
Fatigued by these labors, I took a short break
But that little respite may have been my mistake

Soon I was deep in most Pensive Reflection
On how Assiduously I had built this collection
In crept Myriad Doubts about so brash a move
What if I meet some Cad I need to Reprove?

What if some Craven Cur should Incur my Wrath
But words fail me due to this Ill-Chosen Path?
Well, soon that old crate was quite empty once more
And cluttered again were bin, shelf, drawer and floor

But one thing has changed, this is Palpably Clear
My Leviathan Word Horde I now Deeply Revere
Intrepid and Dauntless, I sling without fear
Iota and Mote.. I dust off once a year!

But Better Be It If

What if I have to give advice?
Better if the urge’s sacrificed.

Fair, you can’t help, but criticise,
Fairer, he’s left on feet to rise.

There may well be times to reprove,
Better let him himself to prove.

Sure, there’s time sometimes to speak up,
Still better by far to shut up!

Time can’t make things right when you write,
Better, when you write, time’s deemed right.

The heart when feels as if all rose,
Better time for poems than prose.

When thorns of doubt begin to hurt,
There’s no better time to exert.

To Our No Relationship Association,

I suppose we will never find
a healthy way to prove
Lovelock's Gaian Hypothesis
we have nothing left to lose
by cooperating more Win/Win
and competing less Lose/Lose.

No more or less than we could prove
our sun will reappear
to rise this next tomorrow
any more or less synergetically
than fundamental fragment-sensationally
apart.

Still, if not true
that love cooperatively empowers
more than hate competitively disempowers,
then how would we understand life becomes
more powerful than non-life's static being?

If non-life artifacts of becoming
rocks in streams
of living water
shaped of star dust
and gaseous non-relationships
instead of nothing,

How could no thing
emerge from no ballistic space?

And why would no space for belonging
submerge this flow
of universal ergodic time
yang-health forward
restoring yin-wealth
of listening in non-violent
co-passionate DNA communion,
historic past?

If DNA were not divine,
why would we sense epic interweavings
of yang strong hydrogen
coveting yin flows of helium?
Muscular webbed
co-passioning walls
and wells of co-identity

Yangs and yins
patriarchs and matriarchs
healthy strength reproducing wealthy listening flows

Still,
I see your pointed rifle.
I suppose we will never find
a healthy way to wealthy prove
and disprove
unprove
reprove
pre-approve
Lovelock's Gaian Synergetic Hypothesis
we have no right integrity
left to lose.

Comforter Indwells

Comforter indwells within us
He's the Holy Spirit
Convicting us of sins and thus
Of each dark demerit

When we disobey God
With untruth we are shod
Need to confess we're flawed

Hark the warning bells
Comforter indwells

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Comforter indwells believers
Do not quench His soft voice
Be not misled by deceivers
There is always a choice
Forsake dark desires' clutch
Give heed to God's soft touch
Confess, repent as such
Overcome sin spells
Comforter indwells
And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. - 1 Samuel 22:15
And when He (the Comforter/ Holy Spirit) is come, He will reprove (convict) the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment. - John 16:8
He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. - Proverbs 28:13
Premium Member My God, Thank You For Binding Me Up
August 19 Scripture Meditations Based on Hosea 6-10
Key Verse – Hosea 6:1 Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.
MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR BINDING ME UP
Thank You for binding me up from sin-brokenness
As You heal my soul’s illness
Letting me rise up against smiting filthiness
By Your merciful forgiveness.
Thank You for binding me up from transgression-affliction
As You revive my salvation’s jubilation
Letting me repent against selfish reaction
By Your transforming sanctification.
Thank You for binding me up from iniquity-adversity
As You cleanse my heart’s infirmity
Letting me turn against weakening uncertainty
By Your directing authority.
Thank You for binding me up from discouragement-ailment
As You correct my discontentment’s predicament
Letting me strive against earthly commitment
By Your inspiring encouragement.
Thank You for binding me up from anxiety-misery
As You reprove my mind’s worry
Letting me soar against vain glory
By Your living Gospel story.
Thank You for binding me up from idolatry-damage
As You work for my faith’s advantage
Letting me endure against pride-caused spoilage
By Your holy gauge.
Thank You for binding me up from guilt-fracture
As You fix my conviction’s posture
Letting me stand against unrighteousness’ culture
By Your gracious gesture.
