Puzzle through patience and perseverance
Following the instructions as stated
Sometimes a cross road of being confused
Multitude of shape elements to place
Analyzation piece by piece
Assemble according to set up
Creating one step at a time
Observing and challenging your mind
Having no rush
No give up
Eventually a completed puzzle
Accomplishment at your grasp
Fulfill in how you manage to survive
You can’t cheat
Determination to finish
Destined
Right piece connections
Followed by perfection
Paying close attention
No longer will be puzzled
As the illustration states will become your completed sensation
Happy session
Puzzled no more.
Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder Poetry Contest
Crystol Woods
Her man friend, grey, over the hill, and older
He's cheesy, conning, plain, and a freeloader
She's in her twenties and smart
Her friends ask why this old fart
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
Her friends are so puzzled and think something smells
They even ask what happened to her brain cells
Break wind and smell the roses
Please don't take his proposes
She followed her own heart and the wedding bells
For someone else's trash is another’s treasure
Who are we to point and object, and measure
Maybe her man has a good side
And she's in it for a short ride
She's free to do what strikes her whim and leisure
6/5/22
Underneath the night sky
No more Mr. Nice guy
My my, how time flies
F*** all these white lies
To you it seems out of this world and Sci-Fi
To me it's natural like a hippie wearing tie-dye
Another high tide
Rarely on the sidelines
Hardly feeling likewise
Much to accomplish in a lifetime
Took some tumbles
Held on didn't fumble
No longer puzzled
Disgruntled
I often mumble
Liquor I guzzle
Then smoke some diamonds or sugar, f*** crumble
Around the corner is often trouble
Feathers easily getting ruffled
Leading to a rumble
We'll see who is the king of the jungle
And who is humbled
Go ahead and chuckle
But how quickly you'll struggle
Then buckle
Before seeing double
Me and a bucko
Finished the job with stucco
Just know
Can't afford to be a Dumbo
Need to do it with gusto
House needs to be jumbo
Bank account needs to be Mutumbo
Got to keep it a hundo
Or I'm donzo
When skies are puzzled clouds of pain
It’s easy to invite the rain
The pieces fit or so it seems
To block the sun and hide your dreams
When darkness overtakes the light
Though grasping it with all your might
It feels as if a stranger dwells
Who’s calling shots and casting spells
Yet even though illusions swirl
Like rainbows on a brand new pearl
I’ll not give in to be entranced
For my last dance has not been danced
There always is a bluer sky
There always is a truer eye
Where clouds are seen for what they are
Though here today, they’ll drift afar
Monitoring prayer requests
heart of mine anticipates answers
knowing that God constantly responds
believing He knows the best, perfectly indeed
by His love and grace, according to timetable sovereign
in His ways verily miraculous, mighty, merciful, mysterious…
Today’s prayer list offers no exemption to my spirit’s zest and zeal
since I wrote “special child’s responsive therapy toward functionality”
trusting the Lord Who always specializes in impossibilities via faith
beholding His hands working well, vanquishing doubts…
Yet, I am all the more amazed and truly surprised
and yes, puzzled to see the name of my son
not under the “Sick Brethren” section
but along “Thanksgiving” column...
The encoder made a mistake
I thought, but in the Saviour
it’s not an accident; thus
seeing it as blessing
I say, “Amen”
Grateful*!
*1Thessalonians 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

How does one describe true love
But a feeling deep down in our soul
Intangible, a mystery, a true enigma
Just actors playing a role
It's why the world keeps spinning around
Billions and billions of times
A truer truth has never been uttered
The ultimate of feelings sublime
Imagine us humans unable to love
An armada of empty vessels
Floating along on a nothingness sea
Or riding life's precarious trestle
My love and I are truly fortunate
To have found this elusive dream
An enigma that's puzzled this old world
Since man appeared on the scene
Trying to define the meaning of love
Is like trying to describe the wind
We feel the effects that both do have
But the visual comes from within
It's only a matter of perseverance
Love eventually comes our way
Take heart and show a little patience
You'll be dancing love's sweet ballet
round as the world —
round and round we go...
a merry go ‘round, of
multicultural colors,
like chromatic ponies
on a carousel.
a slide puzzled
a brow —
“not possible,” says the baby teen.
possibly the craziest ex-cube
circumnavigates,
surrounds
the inner core
of happiness.
the slip and slide,
a splash of huge
smiles and sighs.
peculiarity of pixels,
a mixup tottered by a thumb,
exciting as a magic-8 ball,
skaken, assured
of endless challenges
computer never runs
out of fun.

In pursuit of happiness, you follow
seductive shadows tethered to the night.
And fall into a pit of depression,
plunged into darkness, where there is no light.
Sensual smiles draw you into the dark,
where resistance is slowly stripped away.
And your innocence is traded for lies,
introducing you to the games fools play.
Your pain is numbed by drugs and alcohol,
under whose tutelage your heart forgets.
For your fragile heart's constantly breaking;
shattering into a thousand regrets.
Denial obscures your reality;
while leaving you puzzled and feeling blue.
And you don't know why your life feels empty,
for you're blind to what's happening to you.
The prosecutor looked sternly said
"Again I ask you sir, what did you....
My puzzled face must have looked like guilt
The magistrate leaning forward grave
Mumbled something about a court of law
Your Honour- in my bestest English said-
I am afflicted with tinnitus and rawcus birds
on the roof are offending my constitution
I am not at liberty to explain...
"You have something against the hadidah son?
I love hadidahs ,they help me think!"
Sir I...
Youre guilty and fined thirty rand and another hundred for contempt of bird- I heard
The cicadas were going mad
And the flock flew off laughing
Ha ha ha ha-de-dah
How can a mere ticket lead to this?
The judge got up for tea
Throwing out crumbs
To a gang of carniverous fowl
Why cant they just go tweet -tweet- tweet?
Many are led astray by bad ideas without giving
a second thought
Some deeply dark evading light, a true enemy
of your spark
They'll dive deep to light a fuse to avoid taking
a loss
They raise red flags beneath the surface, but
ignore them they are false
The game of life is won & lost inside the minds
of its players
We're in a labyrinth made of pieces that have us
puzzled by its layers
The putting on of airs is hot wind, so I'm afraid
the cover is blown
Truth takes the high road like air balloons & interest
on their loans
Hone your skills of perception for you'll need it to
know which way to go
If you know the direction in which you travel, you
can gauge the ebb & flow
Use discernment & discretion as its needed on
your path
Your internal compass is your truth which is all
you really have
Engage the part of you that knows the truth before
falsehood comes to wed
Bad ideas are sticky & have a way of getting stuck
inside your head
