Or So It Seems
When skies are puzzled clouds of pain
It’s easy to invite the rain
The pieces fit or so it seems
To block the sun and hide your dreams
When darkness overtakes the light
Though grasping it with all your might
It feels as if a stranger dwells
Who’s calling shots and casting spells
Yet even though illusions swirl
Like rainbows on a brand new pearl
I’ll not give in to be entranced
For my last dance has not been danced
There always is a bluer sky
There always is a truer eye
Where clouds are seen for what they are
Though here today, they’ll drift afar
