Desires whisper in shadow of Venus
And seduce intentions of clandestine love
As rhythms attuned to romantic beats
Pulsate zealously in galactic utopia.
Bashful moon titillates lustrous vibes
In interstellar space of floating nebulae
As symphony of emotions arouses
Throbbing hearts in exotic euphoria.
Sizzling bodies elevate mystical aura
Flooding blood-veins’ cosmic jubilation
And longings waltz on sensuous clouds
As jolt of excitement inflames bosoms.
A tango of passions presents a ballet
For one more spin on planetary stage
High on elation of moonlit ecstasy
Savoring kisses of heavenly blessings,
Satiating dreams of forbidden themes
Unlocking secrets of mysterious galaxy.

Abounding with loving nurture
Building lives is her nature
Carving souls along caring feature
Driven by motherly* gesture
Empowering every child's future...
Fostering faith's confident posture
Gift from God midst raising-up stature...
Happy are we to be the fruits of her blessed venture!
*Proverbs 31:28-30 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.

My slumbered eyes in endless night hours
make shady groves of translucent memories.
Outlining contour of crescent moon,
dark figures meander my muffled thoughts.
The starry sky suddenly changes
from turquoise blue to champagne color .
Half in light, half in shadow, in a mystic mirror
two souls in grandeur, play roles of a lover.
Enthralled in a universe of rosy clouds
elated ripples cascade passion in their blood.
As strong hands grip in gentle touch of kiss,
in silent whispers they meld in each other.
Silhouettes of sculpted poise, they both pose
a splendid spectacle , a magic in moonrise.
a soft satin dream , a frolick in whirlwind
where white light romances shrouds of dark.
A waning moon peeps in its smiling meniscus
as their moments of fantasy dissolves in surreal.
And then.. greyish gloom breaks into dawn...
My eyes all consumed in your eclipse
lingering lullabies on edges of my lips.
I just saw something that isn't ever there
It's just an Optical Illusion of You and Me .

“The park’s the bestest place I know.
I hope you’ll take me there today.”
Four-year-old Bud would get his way.
His Papa also likes to go
to watch the lively children play.
Bud rushed right to the carousel
and claimed “the horsey I like best.
He’s magic. He’s not like the rest!”
His Papa recollects quite well
his own fun fancies lived with zest.
Bud’s magic horsey comes alive,
not at the park; but many nights,
he takes him on fantastic flights.
Though Magic leaves when dawn arrives,
the daytime holds its own delights.

Cats live in the NOW
Cats just want you to BE
Cats have two priorities: LOVE me and FEED me
Cats don’t care if you’ve gained a few pounds
Cats don’t care if you’re not wearing makeup
Lounging will win over exercise and chores every time
Gracefulness comes by making chilling your #1 priority
A good stretch can cure anything
There’s nothing more urgent than showing affection
Being cute and playful works like a magnet
Being elegant and mysterious will go a long way
There’s no greater pleasure than basking in the sun
and
Sometimes doing nothing is what it’s all about

A cascade of autumn leaves lying scattered all around
in faded pale light, nostalgia is tucked in some bygones
forest air still redolent of pink azaleas profound,
reclaiming back those moments in images and icons.
In faded pale light, nostalgia is tucked in some bygones.
riding that chariot of rainstorm, did we not then dance?
reclaiming back those moments in images and icons,
promissory of dreams, beckoning rainbow of romance.
Riding that chariot of rainstorm, did we not then dance?
remember under that tree, I dissolved in your wrapped arms
promissory of dreams, beckoning rainbow of romance,
molten moments of candle wax, awakened in your charms
Remember under that tree, I dissolved in your wrapped arms,
forest air still redolent of pink azaleas profound.
Molten moments of candle wax, awakened in your charms.
A cascade of autumn leaves lying scattered all around.

Contest Name feelings of nostalgia
salient smile scrunching
punctured physiognomy pulsing
voluptuous chin vying
over mystic memory
with callous contentions
seeped in stupefaction
rusty rubberneck moaning
airy attention fostering
damped dog downbeat
nocturnal ends neighboring
felon results rustling
saucy rebellion smirking
Her dad disembarked;
His monstrous master.

My idea of the story - A picture prompt.
A girl took her dog with her to meet her father who was a sailor. He'd been away for like forever. He was a loving father to the girl, and a cruel monster to the dog.
Sooner he disembarked and was coming towards her (After few years of departure). At the thought of the replications of sweet memories that'd be restored, she smiled happily at her returning father. While the dog frowned upon the arrival of his monstrous monster: variation of feelings and attainment of pleasures. (Emphasis on the last couplet).
Around the world in the blink of an eye.
Conquering adventure, for a young child to spy.
Kingdoms of gold and many a magical being.
A world of imagination, limited only by one's dreaming.
Twinkling of illustrations, fiddling of the human mind.
The inner workings of a child's dreamworld begin to unwind.
Castles and dragons, conjured along this fantasy's journey.
Master of this realm, engendering a grand tourney.
The mind of a child is more precious than gold.
Vivid imagery, so much power to behold.
No limitations, an endless chaotic swell.
Infinite unfettered aspirations, a child's magical carousel.

She is her own moonbeam shining bright;
a beacon in the sky, penetrating light.
In evenings centrifugal dance,
heavenly body does entrance.
Giant star shine lamp
of mega-trillion amps.
In the hustle of celestial bustle;
she flexes her gaseous muscles.
whirling, spinning, never dimming,
she moves along like Peggy Fleming.
A holiday on ice, in space,
puts a smile upon her face.
I gaze upon this gracious sphere,
gentility that brings forth a tear;
for she’s our planet, our homeland
and we must do whatever we can.
We must be on the alert,
Gaia’s demise to avert.

Here I sit on Julie's couch
Yeah, I know I've gotten fat
my tummy has become a pouch
I'm not on a diet... I'm a cat!
My black mask is always in place
I used permanent Indian ink
to draw it on my beautiful face
You can't see my eyes when I blink
I'd like a little privacy, if you please
while I'm grooming myself today
If you hang around you may sneeze
when my dander floats your way
Sometimes I chase my fluffy tail
I've heard it said that cats do that
but it's such fun and I never fail
to be victorious in our cat spats
I'm a feline Bandit, and love my home
and Julie is the greatest mom to me
I have no need to wander or roam
I'm right where I'll always want to be
