Almost Died

I do not know how and I do not know why - why you did this to me
You left without a word-you left me in wonders, wondering why
You left beautiful memories- yet should I regret meeting you
You left, yet you said our love is laughter, lighter and life -but I lost your lead
You left your love in my heart - longing for your touch and your taste
Oh darling my heart longing for you, I almost died just for you

I do not have money and I do not have a car-but I know I loved you
I do not understand why and I cannot see how, hoping to see you soon
I do not know how and I do not know why-when something is leaving
You cannot see it, I feel like laughing but I started to cry, hilarious
I do not appreciate or apprehend the pain partnering my past-predicaments
Oh darling my heart longing for you, I almost died just for you

I wish all we had, was but a dream, why should love hurt so much
I wish all people could not just fall in love, but I stay in love with much patience
I wish all vows made and promises uttered, were met to be, oh my love it hurts
I wish all the kisses and touch we had were just in psychic – just hallucinations
I wish all you say and do were in coheres-it hurts that your beauty is not in truth
Oh darling my heart longing for you, I almost died just for you

I left all my playboy games, because I believed in the truth of your love
I left all, for you left all for me, you stood rejection from your family for us
I lefts all my fears and tears at the mountain-where my help comes from
I left all your fears in faith that the Lord is keeping safe in his presence
It was a blessing to have you for a while in my arms-my life has turn around
Oh darling my heart longing for you, I almost died just for you

I put my word in the air for you – the truth is you are beautiful-beautiful
I write my word in the sky for you-the truth is you are a woman of virtue
I put my life on line for you-the truth is you are a great wife to be-proverb 31
I put my light in the dark for you-the truth is you are a diamond, very precious
Though you left, you taught me great lessons and left me a better man - exquisite
He who finds you, finds a wife and receives favor from the Lord, always love you
Oh darling my heart longing for you, I almost died just for you

Buttered Fields

Buttered Fields

It was early when she was tickled awake
as light eased under the eaves
to trickle through a sigh of curtains,
to whisper across the bedroom floor,
to nudgingly nestle beside her…..and beam!

Outside the sun had buttered the fields,
mellowing, yellowing the crisp, morning dew.
The girl awoke wearing playful eyes and a zestful imagination
wishing for a form of storm that might offer up jinks and winks
but the morning was in the process of writing its own story.

Capital letters of trees stood tight and tall
beside commas of bushes, question marks of shrubbery,
sprinkled with colourful, exclamation marks of flowers
and, dotted here and there, insected full stops and apostrophes.
Yes, her day was already penned and punctuated.

Soon, she was washed, dressed and toothpasted
And, with a hip and a hop, she sprung outside her house.
All around the morning sang, “All things bright and beautiful!”
while Mother Nature had her skipping rope out
and was creating mischievous merrymaking.

The wind began huffing and puffing all before it
and after juggling a few dustbins it decided to show off,
performing three cartwheels and a backward double-flip
into a one-handed handstand, finishing with a vault without fault
to win the gold medal in the morning’s gymnastics competition.

The girl now watched, waited and wondered what was what?
So with trees staggering and the wind waggling
the morning now danced merrily in front of her,
and with a giggle of sunlight, an extra wiggle of wind,
she curtsied, partnering the morning in its frolicsome entertainment.

Suddenly and sharply the sun, like stage lighting,
flared through the clouds looking for something lost,
while the road’s yellow lines appeared to hold hands
as they strolled side by side into the distance;
the girl followed, excitement shivering her sleeve.

Blood Diamond

I struggled holding onto my tears,
My feelings kept pushing my hands,
Towards the sheet of emotions,
My pen kept bleeding the deeds of Africa.

Now pending down the deeds of Sierra Leone,
In tears, I struggled with my pen,
Capturing the source of these emotions,
I wrote with my face standing against my feelings.

Somewhere in Africa,
The lands were sprayed with gun's fire.
Hopelessly, they ran in confusion.
Starvation greeted them without mercy.

Their blood the peace of the land,
Rolling like an ocean.
The land bursted in pains and sorrows,
Giving birth to child soldiers.

Dark and slippery was her path.
Fearfully sucking out lives,
For the endless love for diamonds.
Enslaving the future of the land.

Out of the lake of blood,
They gather diamonds.
Lives flew out bodies like birds from the trees.
Babies sucking lives than vampire.

Out of the heart of Sierra Leone,
Mounted blood and pressure.
Spraying the street from it head to toes.
The act of intelligence, was the only way out.

The whites shadowed their condition,
Partnering with their diamonds heart.
The issue of confict diamonds,
Grew taller than the tower of London.

Child soldiers painting the land,
With blood and tears.
Pulling down the love of Africa.
The moon and the sun became enemies.

Death grew fear like monsters,
Spreading it aroma to the innocent.
In the shadow of death,
They were lost.

How painful it is?
Flashing their own blood,
For the love of diamonds,
Losing your blood to death.

"Go tell my parents,
They will see me no more,
I'm gone"
Was their daily song.

Cow ate cow's ,
Involving all attractors.
The cloud is dark,
Tears pulling down like rain.

On to the breeze that carry news,
I concluded the source,
Of the pains and sorrows in conflict diamonds,
That death is equivalent to blood Diamond.

That Moment

It's one of those moments,
the guy in you grabs the micro
starts talking on and on;
mine is often sarcastic,
from high school to career,
spinning around the questions starting with why,
no escape from responding.
It's like life itself, which is always to blame;
and which you can not do away with.
In that moment you go through a mental trance.

Next, a piece of music wakes you from your journey.
It does not matter who it is,
be it Ravel, Brahms or,Rachmaninoff;
But, mostly it's Pachelbel knocking at my door.
in that moment, lightnings thud in my world,
just as my internal lights are dead blind.

The dried, barren soil kisses the wild stream
through cracked lips,
A mom presses her toddler into her chest,
that moment, life leaps into joy
stripped of mournful sorrow.
It feels like seeing the smile on the kid's face
who made her first step;
it feels like being picked up by
the Baroque tune in "Canon In D".

To some others,
it feels like waking up to Miles Davis.

People keep pouring through the streets,
no matter what happened last night;
it's like life itself, which is always to blame
and which you can not do away with.

Next, my eyes get blurry
they see the loved one behind
the foggy hills of my mind.

it feels like covering her naked body with blanket,
shielding off the morning breeze
slipping through our ajar window
as bed sheets smells of our sweat of bliss.
That moment, it feels like sensing life
running through your veins.

So, you show interest in these verses
partnering with me in that moment
don't be intimidated with sharing it
It feels like being a single body, united
with all of our good deeds and sins.

Afar, The Sun sends her last rays
down the snow capped mountains of my heart
that moment, my ears are cozily stuck with
the arias of Andrea Bocelli, warm and gripping
it feels like my dad's still alive and smiling

Pine For Cendyn

Partnering with hotels all across the planet.
Cendyn helps so trip organizers can plan it.
Managing data and guest information.
So travelers can plan their best vacation.

Aiding resorts in dozens of nations.
Boosting their online reputations.
Creating great proposals for best perception.
Getting visitors in the hotel guest reception.

Managing displays online of the menus.
From cell phones visitors can peruse.
Guests can easily see what dining to choose.
Relying only on costly paper displays will amuse.

Merging with competition to boost the hotel industry.
Fighting for deals will be a thing of NextGuest history.
Working with resellers like Amadeus.
Delivering the services on behalf of us.

We hear the struggles from COVID closures.
Of hotel employees facing varied exposures.
Our contacts have been wearing many hats.
As we’ve learned from our checkup chats.

We are here to help them weather the storm.
Adjusting our postures and changing our form.
Making changes together to adapt and stay strong.
Collaborating to make the relationships last long.

We are not completely out of the weeds.
But we’ve been cultivating dynamic seeds.
We’ve taken a hit and weathered the pain.
Empathizing the hotel challenges to maintain.

Using the tools to outsmart a global recession.
Helping resort staff handle their role succession.
Reaching customers to get dynamic outcomes.
By collaborating to reel in some profitable sums.

Last year we cried poverty but now we cry for joy.
Helping staff play with the tools as if it’s just a toy.
Innovating for the future and adapting to the fight.
Only success for Cendyn and clients is what’s in sight.

Premium Member Stardust on Autumn Leaves

Can you hear a stardust song woven within the wind?
                                                                        ~ by poet

Stars awaken from daily slumber within the Milky Way
to shine in the enormous expanse of Jet blackened skies.
Each cosmic constellation radiates from heaven's height,
knowingly winking at each other creating specks of stardust.
Descending like snowflakes; or as tiny dew drops, they fall
as if they were tears being shed for their reverential task.
They've been chosen to accompany elder deciduous leaves
upon their journey's end, a privilege stardust takes seriously.
Some of the scattered particles are from long perished stars
who've been patiently waiting their turn for nature to call.
When it arrives, they bid fond farewell to their celestial home.

Earthbound they float, gathered in glittering showers.
Glimmering as if gilded in the golden glow of moonlight.
Stardust falls on mature leaves in the midst of chilled nights.
In forests and Copses, they land on limbs of maples and elms,
partnering with leaves whose time has come for a final swirl.
They waltz as the wind hums the melody of their swan song.
Softly they flutter to the ground, tenderly settling down...
Clinging to the wrinkled veins of crimson sugar maple leaves,
and soothing the tattered russet foliage of time weathered elms.
Above, an Amythyst moon smiles on their compassionate dance
as Autumn leaves and stardust, lie shrouded in each other's arms.

Woefully, narrating their story has me lamenting the loss of both.

Not In My Name

I write to you brother,
When other’s didn’t bother.
You are my brother, a son, a father
A man.

I address you brother,
You are born of a mother
Like everyone else,
All man.

I dare you brother,
What is your pleasure, in penetrating 3 months old?
What is your pleasure in forcing yourself on a 95-year-old?
What is your joy in the tears of a baby who understands nothing?
But a mere Angel dumped in hell. Why don’t you listen to the silence?
Of a grandmother swallowing her pain hoping you will spare her life.

Your wickedness is beyond the measure!
Tell me brother, are you born of a woman?
Can’t you appreciate the love, a mother gives
Today you make her believe she was wrong,
Wrong to believe that you could be a good son.
Wrong to ever think that you would be a good father
Wrong to believe that you would protect her.
Tell me brother, are you born of a woman,
Tell me brother, why today victimizing her being.

I taunt you brother, NOT in my name.
Not in my name that a woman shy cry,
Not in my name that a woman shall be a prey.
Not in my presence that a woman shall be less,
Not in my name.
Not in my name.

I Choose to break the deafening silence
Of our man in form, partnering with the loose laws
That do not spell SENTENCE,
That do not talk HARSH,
That do not LISTEN,
To the cries of babies, girls, grandmothers :woman
Failing them the protection, dignity, and rights they deserve.
Authorities lipstick talking and observe.

Tell me brother, where is your conscience?
