The Healing of Passion

I paint all my sorrows and I leave the real world with a brush stroke
I gently gather all my being to overcome the boundaries of reality
I focused on thriving on a canvas rather than words alone
My life is all about creation, and nothing less than its perfection
Ever since I was little I been in solitude with emotions unknown to me
Than out of my vision came the hand of redemption kind and helpful
My life changed when I had an accident almost claiming my life
But now I am a fighter in my belief and my life, I can focus on healing
Healing others by my smile, creation, and my ideas that flows through me
By the stroke of my brush I have no pain or grief that I can imagine
My light in me shines so bright it never is dark in my world
Especially when I can share it with everyone in the universe
I am fragile easy to change emotions, rather not talk but use colors
My, my soul, is not just my own it is sent from above, not to race anyone
But to guide myself to those creations, I am who I am, because of me
Not no one, Not anyone, Not the words of people, I have my own technique
I do not focus in silly arguments or drama, but I get sucked into it
Because I am gullible and don’t know better, yet my spirit does not fallow
It knows when to depart the physical being, rather than stay to hear it all
When it wants back in it feels like the hand that gracefully picks me up
It heals my passion, my heart, life in me brightens and all the changes disappear
Then my hand becomes my tool, it shows me how bright I am
My eyes fallows, the stroke of my brush, revealing my creation and my passion

SEPARATED AT BIRTH

In the process of
Knowing you
He came to talk
So interesting
With speech
While my mate walked
...with you

Alone, it seemed
Uninterested in me
He lodged with beasts
I preferred beauty
And the questions
Hanging on trees
...forbidden

I reached for fruit
You said nothing
As I communed
You are too
Companion to me
Though both doomed
...to death

The creature violated
Me, again and again
As I yelled your name
I knew you would come
For one purpose
To clothe violence in shame
...for being human

You abandoned me!!!!
You left me with judgment
And a prophecy that bound my body
To an earth filled with
My children's blood
Godless...no LOVE

No pain is greater....

Wait
Is that you
Wailing in the corner
With bound hands
As my roots are being
Bound to a barren ground

He's a liar...He's a freakin' liar
None of this is TRUTH
Daddy God's name is LOVE
And nothing can separate us...NOTHING!!!

Ive Built a World

The sky drips fluorescent pink
as i cry from the lack of oxygen
My tears trickle down my cheek.
 for no reason yet again
My pain is oozing from my mouth though my lips are tightly shut.
For I have built a world inside my mind and now i am stuck

I cannot calculate the peace I feel I'm owed. I can only hope that it comes to me.
I've worked so hard and lost so much,
though I've only happened to gain a halfhearted peace.
No full love, no real desire, never real free

Had I not cried and screamed.
Had I listened to myself.
had I acknowledged the indifference.
had I pleaded for help.
Though I didn't plead because I knew no one could help.
I knew no one Would release me from this hell.
 So, I found it.
I found an escape.
I found a way to become one with myself.
I’ve built a world within my mind for no one but me.
I’ve tore away from my predetermined plight.
I’ve allowed myself to be free.
From my life and the responsibilities nailed onto me
For i shouldn't have to shoulder yesterday's stress
I shall never hope for tomorrow's peace, for I will use tomorrow to rest.
To rest MY mind MY hearts and MY eyes
I built a world where there is no rush.
a world where there is no need to disguise.
MY pain that I have shouldered because no more will arise.
For I have built a world that will rid me of pain and insecurities.
Tho I Will express MY pain proudly because my experiences are what allow me to breathe

But my world did in fact the opposite
My world sheltered me from the truth.
My world allowed me peace through my pain.
My world allowed me to settle.
For you and your callous spirit
Your ruthless words, and though my world bandaged my scars.
No amount of savior from my world
Can heal what you’ve done to my heart.
I’ve built a world for my desires and hopes.
I’ve built up walls to allow me to cope.
With yesterday's tears, fears and neglect
though the pain still flows from my heart to the mind with every breath

I built a world where oceans sing Melodies.
Where everything plays its part
where there is no pain, no insecurities.

Yet pain still remains in my heart.
I built a world, a damaged world within my dreams and I cannot wake up.
I built a world with hopes of peace.
but still lay heartbroken and stuck

Helping my father and uncles when I was ten,
felled a tree, on break then ready to go again.

I walked around the corner of the truck
as someone pulled the cord and I got stuck.

Now that chainsaw’s engine didn’t start,
but it didn’t have to, to rip my skin apart.

Right through my jeans, but not too deep,
saw my flesh before it began to seep.

Dyed my t-shirt like a canvas with the body’s ink,
those cells made a mosaic from red to pink.

To my surprise, I was left with no pain,
but anesthetic’s steel lacked the mercy of the bar chain.

Skilled hands drove a cutting needle’s threads
through clotting cascades and capillary beds.

On my right thigh, a scar’s pledge,
for every kind of limb, Stihl has the edge.

Karabel Krusades

My teeth were bad
 My family was mad
 Horrible dentists I’ve had
You are a dentist, you must be a cad

 Forced to your venue
Long awaited dental care was to continue
I prefer to be home enjoying the flue
But my nagging wife I could not shoo

I’ve been told no pain no gain
It’s okay for a cavity to remain
 Rather than go insane
Thinking about the forth coming pain

“Anti-dentite am I”, goes my proclamation
“I don’t want any part of your dental nation
I don’t care about tarter formation
Even though my gingivitis is in gestation”

You sat me in your chair
 Flipped back you long hair
 I started saying my prayer
And may have even shot you a glare

You gave me your word to listen to me
Sure, I thought, you’ll say anything for a fee
Many dentists have ignored my plea
I want to jump up and be free

Ok Jim, just a small pinch
While my gums you did inject, every inch
In my mind I am preparing your lynch
If I feel pain and exert even one flinch

You scraped, drilled, grinded, and polished
Soon all of my tarter had been abolished
My fear you still had not demolished
But my heart of distrust began to be washed

 You battled my fear
And anxieties from many a year
 You probably saw a tear
And soon my cavities were clear

We went to Sheol and back
 In this battle of plaque
You proved you were not a quack
And mine enemies we did attack

 My pockets are now bare
It is okay, I don’t care
 God answered my prayer
Knowing with me , you were there

WIND

by

Kevin L Fairbrother

The wind, so cold, so bloody cold

Wraps it’s freezing breath around me

Aches my head, numbs my body

Sucks my energy and dulls my brain

……….

The wind it smashes, it breaks, bends and twists

Everything within it’s non-yielding path

Destruction every-where I look…it’s hell

As Mother Nature vents her fury on earth

…

The wind howls and screams it deafens me

I am fearful for it is relentless…it gives no ground

I seek shelter and relief… but where

For this freezing blast of cold air is everywhere

………

The safety of my home so near… yet so far

As another blast completely bowls me over

It rolls me over and over and buries me beneath the snow

And blackness engulfs me… I’m buried alive

…….

I feel no pain…just silence… but I am cold

So bloody cold, I’m shivering, shaking…feel so numb

I’m hovering between life and death… I loose consciousness

A blackness overwhelms and engulfs me

……

Surely I’m dead… but awaken in hospital

The wind, the snow, the cold has frozen my body

Frost-bite…now I feel horrendous pain

So much pain that I black out again

Only to be revived and the pain has subsided

……

For weeks and months I endured the pain

Minus fingers toes … a leg… I wish I was dead

Because I tempted fate by venturing into the wind

A wind that went so close to leaving me dead

The MAN
 -THE SPIRIT-
       - THE SEED

All dwell in the same abode
In the temple
where they are ripened
to be born -
Conditioned in holding tanks.

THE swishing of moving waters
gentle memories
conditioned in silence.
in holding tanks that were replicas
of wombs.

gentle memories from the world
where angles fluttered.
Imaginations are contagious
we all had the same dream

The MAN
   - The spirit-
       - The seed
delivered unto the
vastness of judgement
hated femininity-
no earthly peace.

When man has the gift
in spite of you,
You insult his dignity.
No peace on this plain-
Your haughtiness,
your naughtiness
naughtiness is too
of a word nice -
maybe babies are- the word
Strange, is better.
 The MAN
   - The spirit-
       - The seed
There is something about the lips -
 Lips,shaped like
 (pictures I have seen)
of cherubs mouths.
But still we have not perished.
All imaginations
could not bear witness
to the same whatever.
someone is sick
caught some disease
came from poverty and
blossomed like a lily in a
cesspool pond.

Hearts seeking
solace inside
The sweethearts
the clean-hearts
deep immersion
where no pain dwells
where the well disciplined
well guided-thoughts
are ushers in my temple.
The inner silence where -
No thoughts run ramped
My peace of mind-
my saving grace-
from the world i have to face.
The flute talks the
flute is my guide
I am still. Just still.

CLEAN-HEARTS
INSIDE-
WHERE
THE INNER
SILENCE RESIDES ...
and no
 creature be despised
neither

The MAN
   - The spirit-nor
       - his seed

Drugs

It's been six years since I've known you
And six months since I've left

You took advantage of me
But it's me who handed you the key

Day after day I would come to you to vent
Instead of ink to this paper
I'd put weed in this wrapper

I'd light it up and smoke it
And then I'd feel much better

It's a place like no other God damn it feels so good
But when the high goes away I'd feel like I'm no good

The relief was only temporary
So I had to double my dose
That's when I realised I started going broke

I started of with alcohol but then I moved weed
And when that wouldn't hit the spot I started popping pills

The high was just extraordinary
There are no words to explain
I wanted more I needed more to elevate the grade

I stuck a needle in my arm
And then I felt no pain
My life was like a roller coaster
Which I could not contain

It's been six years since I've known you
And Six months since I've left
I wonder how many people today still mourn my death

To Barbara, with Love
By Franklin Price

My dearest, darling Barbara
I just wanted you to know
Though you're not here in body
I still love your spirit so

Still feel you in my heart and soul
Though God has taken you away
You're beside him up in glory,
Where there's no pain from day to day

Christ and you are watching over me
Helping me to move along
I go to church on every Sunday
Where I'm praising him with song

I listen to the gospel
For the messages that mend
That guide me where He wants me
Receiving blessings that He sends

No doubt, our marriage made in Heaven
We met each other through God's grace
He gave us many years together
Now you look upon his face

I believe He sent his only son
Who died for us on the cross
You also believed in Him
You're now in Heaven, not a loss

When my journey here on Earth is done
And God comes to welcome me
And He takes me up to Heaven
You'll be the first face that I see

Out There

out there
I am not born
with a silver spoon
so I know no pain
truly I have gotten
use to it
it hurts me no more
cos I was not born at
home
it was out there
out there were reality
tells the truth

out there
the world owns me
36years
of a great lesson
cos I have been on
different course of life
from the day I was born
it keep going
I keep learn
to live in the light
cos darkness is obvious
out there

out there
from the days
I was born
every of my life
was born with a challenge
every of my fears
was born
so now I have realise
why I new be brave
especially
out there

out there
I was born
in the wild
despite it was not
an intention
cos one can't chose
it place of birth
sorry it come natural
so good bless my
home land
were I was born
peacefully
but now if has turn
a bloody land
now my lands are
bleeding
the realities
are so scary
out there

out there
it use to be
a home
out there
it use to be
a place of joy
out there
it use to be
a country of peace
out there
the people use to
love each other
out there
now is totally
a mess
out there
greedy men has
turn it bloody
out there
women are now
been abuse like is normal
out there
I grieve a lot
cos I born exactly
out there
