My teeth were bad My family was mad Horrible dentists I’ve had You are a dentist, you must be a cad Forced to your venue Long awaited dental care was to continue I prefer to be home enjoying the flue But my nagging wife I could not shoo I’ve been told no pain no gain It’s okay for a cavity to remain Rather than go insane Thinking about the forth coming pain “Anti-dentite am I”, goes my proclamation “I don’t want any part of your dental nation I don’t care about tarter formation Even though my gingivitis is in gestation” You sat me in your chair Flipped back you long hair I started saying my prayer And may have even shot you a glare You gave me your word to listen to me Sure, I thought, you’ll say anything for a fee Many dentists have ignored my plea I want to jump up and be free Ok Jim, just a small pinch While my gums you did inject, every inch In my mind I am preparing your lynch If I feel pain and exert even one flinch You scraped, drilled, grinded, and polished Soon all of my tarter had been abolished My fear you still had not demolished But my heart of distrust began to be washed You battled my fear And anxieties from many a year You probably saw a tear And soon my cavities were clear We went to Sheol and back In this battle of plaque You proved you were not a quack And mine enemies we did attack My pockets are now bare It is okay, I don’t care God answered my prayer Knowing with me , you were there
