Just a Belief

Oh! Why didn’t I know earlier?
That I was being trodden into pain,
The pain that could leave my heart in unamendable pieces,
Pieces that are so difficult to forget the past,
The past that is now the painful present.

I believed and I believed and I believed,
Until my heart was in obsession of belief,
I believed and let my thoughts follow,
Follow as I digested each word that came from your mouth,
Whispering into my ears how ‘truly’ you loved me.

I believed when you shouted the word ‘affection,’
Into my ears, that were always there to listen to your lovely voice,
I believed when you whispered into my ears, “I love you,”
Yes I believed those words which made me crazy,
And slave to your false love.

I believed you when you promised to be with me “forever,”
I believed you the way Adam believed Eve,
And blindly he became, only to be driven out of Eden,
Because of the taste of the forbidden fruit,
I believed you too, and now I am out of that “paradise”

I believed you with all my soul,
Devoted myself to you as a slavery who seeks freedom from his master,
Only to be betrayed by the wrong perceptions of his master,
I believed you as a sinner, who partakes Holy Sacrament for redemption,
Only to find himself still entangled by the pains of his unforgiven sins.

I believed you with the whole of myself,
I believed you when you kissed me with your soft sweet lips,
Not knowing that it was Judas kiss that betrayed the Son of Man,
And that kiss also subjected me to unending pain,
That kiss… I wish I couldn’t feel your lips,

Yes, I believed you…
Followed you like a lost sheep that needed guidance and acceptance,
Decided to follow your path, because I saw love in you,
Love that blinded my heart,
And let me head to a destination of sorrow and long suffering.

I believed you my Love,
Nights never passed without a dream of your love evolving in my mind,
A day never passed without an image of your perfection streaming in my thoughts,
Every minute I loved you, cherished you, adored you,
But you have betrayed all my beliefs…
Left me to nurse the wounds of my dumb beliefs.

If only I would have known,
Known that my beliefs were bloody lies,
Lies that encrypted my heart to your slavery,
Slavery of “discipleship” in the name of love,
Love that only was infatuation,
I wouldn’t have said “YES.”

Just a belief?
I wish…

Premium Member The Way of the Cross

Our Jesus is condemned to die
Oh, Savior, now from Earth- you part.
You do not sigh, nor do you weep,
Though our sins have pierced your heart.

Dear Jesus bears the Holy Cross,
        Our Savior of all humankind,
For us, you start this journey now;
Still, endless love for us you find.

Our Jesus falls beneath the Cross;
So dreadful now to bear this pain.
Dear Jesus, when we fall to sin,
Please help us rise up once again.

Our Savior meets his Mother dear,
        Mary, anguished and depressed,
Please help us face our sorrows too-
Live up to all our trying tests.

A man named Simon of Cyrene-
Appears to help our Savior’s plight
To lift the weight of his great Cross-
Lord, burden us to spread your light.

Veronica wipes our Savior’s face.
Look now! His imprint's there to stay!
Please on our souls your imprint make
And help us keep it there, we pray.

Dear Jesus falls down on the path,
Again now for the second time.
But soon he rises to go on,
Lord, help us please, to stay in line.

Our Jesus meets some women now,
They kneel down to mourn and weep.
“Weep not for me,” he says to them,
“But for your children, the lost sheep.”

Our Jesus falls again, this time
His journey's nearly at an end.
Dear Jesus, when we fall to sin,
Grant us the wisdom to amend.

Our Lord now stripped of all his clothes-
This torture is so sad and cruel.
 Please, Jesus, strip our souls of sin;
Our hearts and souls, you always rule.

Our Jesus now nailed to His Cross-
Your death, dear Lord, is very near.
Sweet Savior nail our souls to you,
And grant us grace to have no fear.

Oh, the dreaded Crucifixion!
Our Jesus now so humbly dies,
While all the sins and sins to come-
Are placed before his tear-filled eyes.

Our Lord is gently taken down,
In his dear Mother’s arms is placed,
Oh Mary, Mother of our God,
Help ease our sorrows to be faced.

Now, Jesus placed inside his tomb,
To rise again on Easter Day-
Redeemer of all humankind,
With us forever you will stay!

Oh! Great day of Resurrection!
From tomb, he rises to the sky,
With all God’s angels by his side-
He joins his Father up on high.

Oh! Great day of Resurrection!
He rose again on Easter Day!
Redeemer of all humankind,
With us forever you will stay!

The River Stone A-Glistening

Rippling, rippling
Like a river flows
Like a river stone
Ricocheting, ricocheting
Like a ball goes
Time stands on its own

That’s how it goes
That’s how it goes...
Oooh ohhh oooh
Oooh ohhh oooh
That’s how it goes
That’s how it goes

We’re rippling, rippling
Like a river flows, all alone
We’re diving, diving
Into the abyss unknown
Unknown...

It’s shown in your eyes
That you’ve moved on on your own
The eyes tell no lies
So, tell me the truth — we’re not alone

Rippling, rippling
Like a river flows
Like a river stone
Ricocheting, ricocheting
Like a ball goes
Time stands on its own

That’s how it goes
That’s how it goes...
Oooh ohhh oooh
Oooh ohhh oooh
That’s how it goes
That’s how it goes

We’re rippling, rippling
Like a river flows, all alone
We’re diving, diving
Into the abyss unknown
Unknown...

The wind blows upon her hair
The sun glows away her despair
She’s the black beauty of the deep...
We follow her like sheep...like lost sheep

Rippling, rippling
Like a river flows
Like a river stone
Ricocheting, ricocheting
Like a ball goes
Time stands on its own

That’s how it goes
That’s how it goes...
Oooh ohhh oooh
Oooh ohhh oooh
That’s how it goes
That’s how it goes

We’re rippling, rippling
Like a river flows, all alone
We’re diving, diving
Into the abyss unknown
Unknown...

You just knew too much about me
While I talked to you on the cellphone
You told me, held captive, that I’ll be set free
Instead, I’m on my own, on my own, but God’s my backbone

Rippling, rippling
Like a river flows
Like a river stone
Ricocheting, ricocheting
Like a ball goes
Time stands on its own

That’s how it goes
That’s how it goes...
Oooh ohhh oooh
Oooh ohhh oooh
That’s how it goes
That’s how it goes

We’re rippling, rippling
Like a river flows, all alone
We’re diving, diving
Into the abyss unknown
Unknown...
We’ll listen to the clouds a-sway
We’re going to glisten during the day
We’re drifting
As we’re lifting

We’re ricocheting, ricocheting
Like a ball goes, round and round and round it goes
We’re swaying, swaying, praying, praying
For a free-fall of our own while the sun surely glows

The sun’s been aglow and I know
It’s been a-glistening and you know
That we’re rippling away day by day
We’re ricocheting like a stone at bay

The Happy Hour

have you ever heard of the happy hour where people mingle, eat and dine
the happy hour when people congregate to relax and from their work unwind
a time to replenish, to refresh and restore one's troubled mind
yet it's only a temporary stop gap in the overall scheme of time
but the happy hour in heaven is eternal and ultimate
a time to reconnect with the Holy Spirit
it's more than a quick fix, it's the time for salvation
heaven's happy hour the place for spiritual libation

Jesus spoke some parables about how to save sinners
finding those whom the Lord God wants to serve His dinner
the daily bread, the good news which is full of godly power
what one needs to celebrate heaven's happy hour

when one sheep strays and you go off to find it and return it to the flock
that's when Father God and the angels in heaven will be rocking around the clock
when a women loses a precious coin and diligently cleans her house until it's retrieved
that's the type of dedication and devotion that God wants us to achieve

do you realize that most sinners are not in church but are out in the world?
and it doesn't make sense to offer salvation to those who already know the word
yet the Scribes and Pharisees accused Jesus Christ of hanging out with sinful men
for they could never understand His true purpose was to give instruction to them
for it's not about the sermons, the rituals not the circumcision
it's knowing that your reason for being is to practice the Great Commission
and when people have lost their way and have a desire to be found
don't be hypocrites like the Pharisees and on them look down
just listen to Jesus' parables and discern the wisdom within
open your ears and eyes to His teachings and preaching
He came to tell us what it is of us the God desires
He came to show us what it is of us the God requires
He came to offer salvation even if it would only be to one lost sheep
He came to give us the good news, a treasure for us to keep

heaven's happy hour a time to celebrate salvation
heaven's happy hour to drink of spiritual libation
remember God gave each of us His express permission
to evangelize the gospel as part of the Great Commission
so don't be condescending if you're already a member of the family
for your purpose as a child of Christ is to increase exponentially

My Bleating Heart

Modern day scoffers say,
only the strong will survive
That the weak will be eaten alive
Only T-Rex,
cold-blooded logic will thrive

The talking serpents e-vol hiss,
instincts of compassion and kindness won’t abide
Forgiveness is viewed as fleece clothing
to bear skins
sin cloaked in naked pride
Warmly showing forth utter soft, sheer love
will get an Abel body devoured by crocodile eyes
Whose gator jaws have teeth
sharp as knives

Carnivore minded thinkers believe those
with the most leopard spots
will claw ruthlessly
to the genome mountaintop

But, my bleating heart
was verily, second Adam told
this was not so

From the dawn mist of Eden’s birth,
the first paradise promise
spoke the Gospel truth —
That the meek will inherit the Earth

New Age Sadducees tout,
how the wolves were gonna turn
the Moon glow red
Make the ewe reflection of the sunlight
get darkened instead

Tho’ the Son still shine on the wolfsbane,
genetic scorners mock in vain ...
Derisively baring the fang,
spouting ebb-and-flow abysmal theories
Cloned Dolly insane

Boast howl those silver tongues
were green changing, cheatah fast,
the wavy blue to bright crimson
Like grisly paw mouths of the past

Raptor grip moneychangers
who prey devoured the pray fittest least —
Faith impoverished lost sheep,
who idol strayed
into the coin belly of the beast

But, my poor, bleating heart
was verily, verily, Lamb of God boldly Amen told:
The pyramid scheme/food chain feast,
to saber tooth prowl
evilly for eternity,
won’t ever Last Supper be Red Sea parted possible

Oh, my bleating heart
was verily, verily, double blessed told:
That the Resurrection Exodus was in the sheepfold
Good Shepherd voice activated, ready to go

Yes, my enriched, bleating heart
was surely comforted gently by buried wisdom gold
Three-day-old alabaster ointment
(that was dirt price sold)
caught the tiger by the evolutionary tale,
I was so graciously Only Begotten revival pulse told

Mercy green pastures of meek hope
wasn’t grazed for woolly naught
Ere crucifixion teardrop thought
got turned into a beautiful, Salvation pearl

When every saintly flock
closed eye awaken joyously,
(with bloodstain-free,
sin clean fleece,)
there will be no predators in the new world

Saxon

Isaac's son
saac's son
Saxon
O Israel where are you
I know you are not a Jew
Joseph come home
come home O child come home

I spy David's thrown
we'll have to make preparations
to bring it back to Jerusalem
so that when our savior comes home
he will have a proper place to sit
there upon his fathers thrown

for sins the Lord with held the blessings
over twenty five hundred years
and then we suddenly received them
swiftly they fade away
think we will ever learn our lesson
think we'll ever straighten our ways

"Be sure to observe my Sabbaths
keep the sanctified day
do not go around worshiping idols"
now blessings are fading away
does anybody else know
what does the word of God say

soon the skies will be iron
and the land will turn to brass
plagues shall scald our people
and our cities will break like glass
that fell down from the heavens
shattered and scattered all to pieces
we should have obeyed the laws of our father
like we were told to by the great king Jesus

O Ephraim, O Manasseh
I pray we learn our lesson fast
so that the pain doesn't have to last
we will all soon be slaves
God's will and try to be brave
still I pray
my God have mercy
and I pray to see the day
when we all learn to live
within God's laws and learn his ways

O America, O Britain
nation overseas and mine
don't you know God is going to punish us
time after time after time
until we learn the way to happiness
and inherit eternal life
we will walk by the river of life that flows
I guess we’ll have to learn the hard way
I guess that's just how it goes
they don't believe God and they wont believe me
I guess that soon enough
everybody in the world will know
everybody in the world will see
(Jer: 50:4-6)
In those days, and in that time, saith the LORD,
the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together,
going and weeping: they shall go, and seek the LORD their God.
They shall ask the way to Zion with their faces thitherward, saying, Come,
and let us join ourselves to the LORD in a perpetual covenant that shall not be
forgotten.
My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray,
they have turned them away on the mountains:
they have gone from mountain to hill,
they have forgotten their resting place.

Just An Old Sinner

It was in I in word and deed
I followed my own lust
You suffered and died the Price of Peace
Even I being evil you looked past the leper in me
The spotted ringstraked the one lost sheep
It was I in word and deed
In your full view nothing was hid
Even I being evil you looked past the leper in me
From stolen penny candy to the torturing grayfish
to king of the ant hill to drunkenness of endless filth
Blushing now for sin I committed then
It was I in word and deed
The lying raping to the hypocrite on the bus
In a word I thought I knew better
You suffered and died the Price of Peace
Even I being evil you looked past the leper in me
It was I in word and deed
Brawling stealing adulterous hurting killing tongue
Even I as I begun in word and deed
I followed my own lust
You suffered and died the Price of Peace
Even I being evil looked past the leper in me

Stranger

My heart egos and my life drained from me
Simple life I live, I act as I know all
But I know not, no, not even a little
I earnestly seek for recognitions
But my life and my heart is a hole.
An empty vessel, soulless, loveless

I have been succumb by the pain of heart aches
I have become a broken man,
Know not what my future holds
I envy those who went before me, who were acknowledge

I hold on to the little shred of hope in me,
I am being drowned by my own sorrows.
Love, hate, a new beginning and ending of my old self never seems to happen
My wrath against my enemies is nothing for they humor me with insults.
Let not death come to me in misery and despair,
For life is full of joy and full of sorrows.

Love me, as who would love a stranger from nowhere.
Let my sorrows be taken away by the love of many
But at last, no one would.
Don’t cry for me, for no one knows me
They came before my grave and said “who is this man?”
“Why is the name not written?”
It is not written because I am nothing
Don’t shed a tear for the stranger such as me.

Life is like a dream on a calm sea,
As the captain gracefully steer and gently moves its rudder.
The passenger puts their lives in his hands,
A calm sea is the heaven of any sailor.
“So, where is my captain?”
The wind blows every so gently,
But my heart sinks gently into the sea;
Who will mourn for the stranger?

Drowned from my grief,
My faith begins to waver like a ship tossed around by the winnowing wind
My heaven, my calm sea turns against me as I sail the Galilean sea
“Where are thy words that calm the raging storm?”
Ay! I have no peace even in my passing.
I have not thy words of command,
For my faith has been tossed away by the hating winds,
Shallow, empty, and broken I lay here in an unnamed grave.

Only thy mercy will guide me to the third heaven!
Let my sorrows be washed away by the blood of the innocent lamp.
Let thy words be the honey drops for mine,
As this world knows only lies
Blinded by greed and lust,
They seek only to destroy of what they fear.
And my sorrows are tossed away by thy promises.
For thy compassion for lost sheep is great.

"Have I found peace?"
I have, for I know my heart is at rest when my body has aged
And my salvation has come
When I died with thy Words of truth

Second Chance

Stagnation is death, and I didn’t want to die…
My life was slowly turning into nothing and I knew the reason why…

I cried, lost finally able to see…
That dark cloud that consistently hovered over me….

Humbled and defeated, I began to cry and pray…
Dear Lord… this is Faizah… I’ve lost my way…

I’m drowning in this life, Love I never found…
This world it has never been good to me… and now in sorrow I drown…

If you still want me, I’m hoping that you could…
Lead me into all things of you because in them there is good…

That dark cloud said, why should you help me now?
Cause many times before you’ve tried to show me how…

How to be loved and live a life under your grace…
But each and every time, I turned from seeking your face…

This time Lord, I promise it will be different…
I realize without you as my Guide, I could never go the true distance…

If you could just direct my steps and show me that narrow path…
This time I’ll stay on it, no matter how long the tribulations last…

All of a sudden from a distance I hear…
A muzzled voice that began to come clear…

This is the Lord thy God, your prayer I have heard…
To begin to follow me you must submit to my Word…

Through all of this darkness, just follow my light…
I’m glad to have you back, proud that you have given up the fight…

The fight of the flesh you will never win…
The only way to victory would be to die to the flesh then begin…

Begin to live in the Spirit… and be made new in this life…
Grow up and mature in my Word, to continually reach new heights…

I am the Lord your Shepherd and you will soon come to see…
You were one of my lost sheep who is now found, and through me you are set free…

Free to be loved, receive blessing unmeasured…
Basking in the Will of our Father brings the greatest pleasures…

So from this point on, don’t ever look back…
Continue moving forward on my narrow path, and you will never lack…

Lack love, lack comfort, lack any of your needs…
Because all things that were made, if made at all, were made by ME…

In response to you Lord, I would like to say…
I’m so thankful for this second chance that you have given me on this day...

Unwavering roots

Today, I stand before you, not as a mere poet, but as a vessel—a storyteller weaving threads of faith, doubt, and redemption.
Picture an ancient olive tree, gnarled and weathered, its roots gripping the rocky soil. Faith, my friends, is like those roots—an unseen force that sustains us through storms.Hebrews 11:1:'Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.My journey of faith led me through wildernesses—dark nights of questioning, where stars seemed distant and prayers echoed back. But oh, the beauty of persistence! Like a mustard seed, my faith grew—a stubborn sprout pushing through rocky doubts, seeking light. And then came the fire—the refining flames that tested my resolve. I stood in the furnace, my faith ablaze, yet unbroken. For faith isn't merely belief; it's the courage to walk through flames, knowing that the Refiner stands beside us.

In the quiet corners of our souls,
Where shadows linger and doubts take hold,
There lies a story of a wanderer's path,
A prodigal heart seeking its way back.

Once, we danced in the Father's light,
Our steps sure, our faith burning bright.
But the world beckoned, its allure strong,
And we strayed, oh how we went wrong.

We chased empty promises, fleeting joys,
Trading grace for ashes, love for noise.
The road was rocky, the nights were cold,
Yet still, the Father's love never grew old.

He waited, arms open wide,
His eyes scanning the horizon, undenied.
For every lost sheep, every broken soul,
He longed to see them whole, once more whole.

And then, one day, weary and worn,
We stumbled back, hearts bruised and torn.
The Father ran, His robe trailing behind,
Embracing us, whispering, "You're mine."

His forgiveness flowed like a river's tide,
Washing away shame, erasing pride.
No condemnation, no judgment, just grace,
As we wept in His arms, seeking our place.

The angels rejoiced, the heavens sang,
For the prodigals returned, their hearts rang.
And in that sacred moment, we knew,
Faith could mend what was broken and renew.

For faith is not lost, it's just misplaced,
And the Prodigal's return is heaven's embrace.
