This is a dangerous man. Seduction‘s tendrils lace
thumbs at collarbone, his digits wind round behind.
Manicured, long, clean…fingers, made for face tracery,
pulling back shoulders and raising crest-capped peaks.

Thumbs at collarbone, his digits wind round behind.
Soft, full, Latin lips nibble the pulse racing at neck,
pulling back shoulders and raising crest capped peaks,
manicured long clean…fingers made for tracery.

Soft, full, Latin lips nibble the pulse racing at neck.
The kiss repeats with nips and pulls to bottom lip.
Manicured long clean…fingers made for tracery,
the return voyage of his mouth brushes half closed lids.

The kiss repeats with nips and pulls to bottom lip.
Stasis without, riling within, rose-crests scratch across cloth.
The return voyage of his mouth brushes half-closed lids.
Enough, relent, leave off, the fainting feeling, so intense.

Stasis without, riling within, rose-crests scratch across cloth.
Push, push, his barrel chest, the salt and pepper curls.
Enough, relent, leave off, the fainting feeling, so intense.
Bodies have not met, yet, this momentary bliss is not without regret.

Push, push, his barrel chest, the salt and pepper curls.
Blood like rainwater drains to nether regions of pain.
Ours bodies have not met, yet, momentary bliss without regret.
Like chocolate ice cream with chocolate chips and sauce,

A whipped cream delight of potential deadly sorrow,
Manicured long clean…..fingers made for face tracery,
God!….exited my lips, as they left his.
This is a dangerous man. Seduction‘s tendrils lace.

Can You Hear Me

My mind my greatest bully
Constantly beating me up shoving me out the way
Steady trying to catch my breath
Try not to regret
The top half of my shirt wet
my mind cying from so much wonder
IF, an's, Maybes

I'm feeling a little shady
I'm in a relationship an when my heart races

Its screaming
"You cant erase this!!"
Your glowing skin
your contagious smile
Cute laugh
your quirkiness
Oh how I miss...

NO SNAP OUT OF IT!

My mind screams
"No that's in the past it did not last shake it off for it will not pass!"

A part of me wishes I never asked you out who knows where we would be
I cant stop my brain from wondering
I dont want to regret

Like every human
I want answers
It's for my heart
the one falling apart

I know I'm meant to feel more
Compare my heart to a toy
Throw it in the corner after it brings you much joy

Move on

I miss the conversation
I miss your intellect
The way you turned me on no matter what time it was or the choice of words you would say

My mind screams
"No that's in the past it did not last shake it off for it will not pass!"

Our time was cut short
I believe there was a meaning for this
What am I supposed to take in from all of this?

I want to hear you say my name again
If it has to end Let's end the right way have one more
Phone call
we can leave off on a laugh instead of hurt

Just like this poem I have been everywhere part of me pretends not to care
Why did we stop talking?
The path we chose we should not have walked nor even talked

My mind screams
"No that's in the past it did not last shake it off for it will not pass!"

AHH I just want to yell !!!!!

Play this back as if it was a movie reel
Recreate my start an end

I wonder if you still think of me they way my mind makes me think of you

Best Of Both Worlds

Written By: D. Collins 11/22/24

A man like me has the best of both worlds.
A life lacking fear and an awesome Li'L Girl.
Never will I be chained, even in slavery.
And, my Li'L Girl turned out to be just like me.

I embrace that as Virginia E.Y. Collins would.
Come up with something that spits out good.
Virginia left her mark and so did I.
I warned ya'll 'bout Meika before I died.

She takes the mantle where my poems leave off.
That Good, God, Granny that'll never be soft.
The best of both worlds might just be my luck.
But when you see her coming take cover and duck.

Procrastination

I sit here with so many thoughts going thru my head
I just want to close my eyes and go to bed.
How many times have you felt the pressures taking its toll?
And you want something concrete that you can hold.

You daydream of the way you would like things to be
But you come back to the realities
You know that you must strive to achieve your goals
And not let anything stand in your way
But then you leave it for another day.

Procrastination is always there,
And with your thoughts the space it will share.
You say “leave it for tomorrow and a brand new day”
But tomorrow comes and it’s washed away.
These are the pressures that are taking its tolls
 When you lose your control.

Don’t leave off for tomorrow what you can do today
With procrastination there’s a heavy price to pay

Premium Member Wear Less

This morning when I awoke and before I got dressed
I decided to myself to simply just wear less

There are times when many of us overdress and others wonder why we are all stuffy and stank with our mood and attitude. It is because on those days you wore worry, anger, insecurity and could it be bitterness, stress, confusion, doubtfulness and uncertainty?

Some people say a person has a chip on their shoulder. It’s not a chip, they are just over dressed.

Today I say, leave off all those extra clothes and simply just wear less. Stop going to work, to school, to church, to Walmart, to the gas station, to bed, on vacation wearing all those hot, heavy clothing - Rejection, hurt, bitterness, disappointment, frustration... Let it go, take it off and leave it off.

Why do you have on the same clothes from yesterday, last week, last month, 3 years ago? Really?
Why you still got them same dirty, stanky draws on from yesterday (meaning drama, gossip, worry, stank attitude)? Why didn't you wear less?
Shift your focus, refresh and renew your mind by being that bright light in the world. People vibe off your energy. So, for positive vibes, good mind set, great attitude, remember what the Bible says, “Count it ALL joy!” The good, the bad, the ugly, the ups, the downs, the tears, the frowns... yeah, it's all joy.

Be mindful of what you allow to enter and linger in your mind. Guard you mind! Your thoughts can affect your mood, your mood can affect your emotions and your emotions can affect your actions. With that being said - Think positive, Speak positive and Be positive!
So each day I say, before you get dress
Decide in your mind to simply WEAR LESS!

Yesterday Mornings Writings and Warnings
David J Walker

Where did I leave off writing
Yesterday morning in describing
The world around me

Which hue glistened off
The morning dew at sunrise
Which tune did I hear
In the blue of your eyes

It is clear that my world is mine
For the making, each morning a day
For the taking

Which shirt goes best with a positive mood
Which shoes erase the dark brood
Of yesterday’s bad dream failures
With which I am more familiar

For now, the page is pure and clean
The next hour as yet unseen
And I have every right to believe
That I can write about
Something good happening

Premium Member This Utterly Amazing *****Sapien

Here ye! Here ye! Here ye!

I humbly present this poetic masterpiece in jest!

Four score, minus three hundred and sixty-five days ago

This handsome *****sapien took his first breath

Since that momentous day, the world has never been the same

However most people leave off the 'ien” leaving the phrase “*****sap”

Now that's downright mean and despicable I must say

This dude is the epitome of sweetness and absolute charm

In the history of humankind and all that ancient malarky

It took until my birth in nineteen-thirty-five

For this amazing specimen with these finely chiseled features

To pop onto the scene with tremendous fanfare and celebration

The Second World War was delayed by four years

Because of the worldwide excitement and huge celebrations

People in every land expressed their utter amazement

At such an fantastic specimen of the human male form

So when I pass on, I bequeath my extraordinary body to science

In hope they can determine what made this amazing creature

I offer it freely for the betterment of all humankind!

I apologize! LOL

The Cake

When a cake is baked
you put icing on it
but if you bake a cake
and leave off the icing
the cake is good
but not as good,
a family is like a cake
time and patience
goes into it
but you never know
if the cake will fall,
waiting, hoping,praying
that every thing comes out right
the cake is good
but something is missing
cause with out the icing
time, and love that goes into it
the cake can not be enjoyed
now finish the cake
put the icing on
and you can see how much more
the cake can be enjoyed
the cake could be
any part of the family
like the icing, if it was gone
it wouldn't be as sweet
so lets always
keep the icing on our cake......

Au Natural

Between the sheets we never wear
a single thing that isn't bare,
for clothes would hamper our delight
in sharing flesh all through the night.

For when we're one, and feed our lust
sensations shared as chest meets bust
expressing love in sexual play.....
then clothes would just get in the way.

Climaxing with a final thrust
fulfilment shared in mutual trust
euphoric from nocturnal play.....
with clothes we couldn't be this way.

When naked sharing midnight shower
wet skin possessing silken power
as water trickles round our frame.....
clothes surely would our passions tame.

Between the sheets, no place for clothes,
just birthday suits from head to toes,
unless you have no turtle dove,
then maybe..... just leave off one glove!

Popcorn Makes Sense

The best thing about popcorn is its taste,
crunchy, salty, I like mine with butter.
You can buy cheesy, caramel, and sour cream
just to name a few.

Moving along to smell, no time to waste.
Fresh popped, bagged or canned, popcorn's unique.
I think it smells like a movie theater
and like ball games too.

The touch of popcorn? these points I have traced:
it's sometimes hot, then it's warm, and then cold.
It's food for comfort when I'm feeling sad (or glad),
it's not "hard" to eat.

About the sight of popcorn, it's two-faced.
Hard, tiny orange kernels turn into white puffs
it's not very pretty until it is cooked
the magic is heat.

What's there to hear about popcorn but haste.
Listen quickly, it's sizzling, then pop, pop, pop.
like a bunch of firecrackers cut down to size
but don't let it burn.

Now on its pedestal we have it placed,
a standing ovation for this favored treat.
Low in calories (just leave off the butter).
to popcorn I adjourn.
