But im pleased to say I have Jo
She has been there for me
Through thick and thin
If she hadn’t been there
Where would I have been
The love of a good lady like her
Theres nothing else I can compare
A real woman with a heart of gold
Im a lucky guy even if im old
Shes a legend with a real fight
But only for the things that are right
Im glad that im the one for her
Im her man and that’s a fact

As a daytime vampire, you achieved great popularity.
Your acting skills have displayed your awesome versatility.
Each afternoon, I ran home from school to see you on TV.
The producer of the show would also bring forth a movie.
In your same role, you would wreak havoc in the community.
In Collinsport, Maine, you were pursuing a girl named Maggie.
She would resemble Josette, whom you were supposed to marry.
Such an unfortunate vampire; we saw you playing the part
of a night creature we would love to pound a stake in your heart!
At first, we all thought you were evil, but you were very good.
You assumed the person of a descendent of Collinwood.
When you were freed from your chained coffin in a mausoleum,
you dwelled among your living relatives as a conundrum.
You would go after the throats of your American cousins.
Who would need Count Dracula when we’ve got Barnabas Collins?
Each day, we would see you get into a new predicament.
For several years, you provided us with great entertainment.
2017 comes to an end
I'm happy to be with my best friend
As you know her name is josette
The best friend a man could get
Loyal loving and great fun
Have a laugh in the rain or sun
My life my world she truly is
Now world you need to listen to this
On Christmas day she opened her prize
A diamond ring twinkled in her eyes
With a little note on the side
Will you marry me be my bride
With a tear shed in her eye
If she were Scottish she just said aye
But in English the words did flow
The answer world was not no
It was a big Yes to my big act
I love her so much that is a fact
United together we will now be
Forever and ever total unity
So friends and family we wish you well
2018 I hope will be swell
I know my years get better and better
Even if the weather is wetter and wetter

I've seen you lurking in the shadows

It's Christmas time again
Santa's reindeer ride again
Time for folks to shine again
In colors of red and green.
It's Christmas time again
Little kids with hopeful smiles
Sit on Santa's lap awhile
And wish for toys only dreamed of
In their midnight slumber.
I have to stop and think sometimes
If we had Christmas all the time
Would we always be this happy
Or would it start to fade.
Would the lights still shine as bright
Would Santa still seem so right
Would we even take the time to
Contemplate a virgin birth.
So let's keep Christmas in December
So we'll always remember
The birth of our Savior

Moonstruck Josette
There's a sad tale told of moonstruck Josette
Who's love turned into ashes of regret
She found romance when only sweet sixteen
With the most handsome man she'd ever seen.
Though he treated her unkindly at times
Josette overlooked those menacing signs
She adored him despite his cruel trait
Then came the day he decided her fate.
He took her to a wood where no one goes
Josette felt he was well nigh to propose
He said to close her eyes and count to ten
Poor Josette never opened them again.
Down in the woods lies a silent Josette
Her demise so tragic one can't forget.

Enjoy the day I hope you will
Stay in bed, relax as best you can
For today the works done by your man
Bacon butties or full English is at waking
As the kids and i are in to making
A nice cup of tea to wash it down
Big cuddles and kisses and no frown
Once that's completed the days begun
All four of us can have some fun
Make you a homemade cake of couse
Chocolate cream and strawberry sauce
Then a little trip somewhere nice
Irrelevant of the price
Because Jobird your worth it so
Get your glad rags on and let's go
A trip to the seaside or a nice peaceful park
Listen to chirps of the joyful lark
The Robin redbreast pops and says hello
