NOTE:THIS IS AN OPEN(organic) FORM VERSE using spaces&breaks without grammatical symbols ,the ' open' relies upon 'the one breath limitation' & so inherently requires the 'reader' (reciter) to input and responds thus making this enigmatic form a two way interplay & interpretatIon unique to the moment& changing according to mood is inherently variable.

“The earth laughs in flowers.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
A hummingbird feeds upon bright Spring blooms,
wings fluttering away.
As zinnia colors illume,
this warm Spring Day.
A butterfly appears in the garden,
With wispy wings in blue.
Hoping the hummer will pardon,
blessing it through.
Zinnia flowers gushing with color,
blooms dancing in the breeze.
Petals shaped in round half dollars.
Blossoms appease!

The many winters I had seen
When once I was a teen
Gathered inside our small living room
Joy and simplicity our faces illume
Warm with laughter at striking stories
Light is the heart and empty of worries
My sisters and sole brother
The treasure of my father and my mother
Mum, our angel of the earth
The springs of our gaiety and mirth
Moving in the magic of her young age
Our hunger for hot food would assuage
Would even bring a piece of paradise
To us, if we dared ask, for any price
Dad, overloaded, would tread miles for our sake
Serene reassuring smiles while so much at stake
The nights echoed holy verses dad used to read
Developing a sense of belonging to his creed
Opening our hearts to the graces and blessings of the Divine
In my veins, a life of a tender love I’ll ever enshrine
*****
Many winters had passed
Still nourished of a so precious past
Confined to the tranquility of the night
The magic box would offer dreams in black and white
Stress and concern evaporated and lost weight
Soft whispers.. suppressed giggles with life pulsate
The quietest of corners I would always look for
My sanctuary, my home made bookstore
Ever my worlds side by side shaping the inner me
No single worry over the one whom I would be
Why would I when I was entangled in more than one story
Preened myself on my pen musing in my world of ivory
My younger sis who of English knew no word
Would grant me her patience and love for what she heard
Love and most of all contentment and gratitude
Deeply remained, the reign of my worlds and my soul food
The cold of winters, now, how can my words perceive
In my realm of poesy what of warmth willing to weave
The winter of our Life which many abhor
My wishes I will have the grace to adore.
Let the truth be told and the Scriptures proclaimed,
because there is more to be seen than meets the eye.
Clouds are said to be the dust of the Lord's feet.*
But there are more down to earth things as well.
Nightmares should all be buried in the deepest pit.
Indeed, nightmares belong in the darkest regions,
and dreams should hitch a ride and float with the clouds.
Dreams should illume their brilliance as light from the sun.
Dreams should be multiple like formations of the clouds.
Clouds turn dark from the weight of liquid drops of living water,
but beware less your dreams darken and be mistaken for nightmares.
Sometimes our dreams are 'overcast' like clouds waiting for rain signals.
Wind storms and tornadoes are not the normal tasks for passing clouds.
When the monster under the canopy has passed, and when the vast blue skies
become clear, there's absolutely nothing to fear. You can rest assured that
on a passing cloud there floats a dream. When the clouds are scattered,
therein lie hope and a shadow of dreams. Those clouds, the dream carriers,
have made peace and declared a welcomed truce in the heavenlies.
Nightmares will often fight gallantly but are no match for devoted dreamers. The clouds will always give passage to dreamers and deny access to nightmares.

A car came speeding around the bend
Went right through a tree in to my children's bedroom
I was thankful to God this didn't become anyone's tomb.
My house the car did rend.
I was mad at the drunk driver who said Oops! I
Shouldn't make this a trend.
I was wondering when normal conversation would
Resume.
A car came speeding around the bend
Went right through a tree in to my children's bedroom.
Now the driver is worried that his license could be
Suspended.
I was not about to illume
Or remove the gloom.
I was getting furious with his babbling especially
When he said Can we hurry this up I have a party to
Attend.
A car came speeding around the bend
Went right through a tree in to my children's bedroom.
Good morning my beauty, is today a day
When perhaps your path may cross my way?
Could there be a chance I'd see your face
Somehow somewhere? Sometime someplace?
When I spot you, desire starts to grow
And then my blood begins to flow
A rhythmic pulse throbs in my ears
Quickened heartrate, changing gears
From first to fifth without pause
I think of things, but that's because
The cat's meow is in the room
And when she is my heart's illume
Through my shirt you'll see it glow
But why is just for you to know
You strike the match, the fire lights
My dreams of fervent, sensuous nights
The manifold states of woe, the hells, ghosts realms and
Beastly domains, the suffering of birth, old age, illness, and
Death shall all recede. Heeding purity and truth, heeding the
Vast body of wisdom, heeding benevolence and compassion,
May all forever admire him with resolve and praise.
Radiance pure and unblemished, like sagacious solar rays
Dispelling the darkness, able to tame all disasters from wind to
Fire, and illume without bounds the whole universe. He is
The body of benevolence, with thundering virtue, pouring forth
The ambrosia of truth to extinguish the embers of anguish.
If you are mired in prosecutions or caught in the throes of
Battle, abide in Avalokitesvara and all enmity shall vanish.
The Wondrous sounds of Avalokitesvara, so pure like
Serene waves, peerless in this world, who could afford
Not to keep his name? Cherishing each chant with true faith,
The pure and sagely Avalokitesvara is your rock in times of
Pain and peril. Replete with merit and eyes of benevolence,
Blessings boundless like the ocean, worthy of reverence!”
It was created hundreds of years ago
although not on any map, yet not all know
of this pristine and unsoiled vivid venue
in spectral hues of fuchsia and raspberry art,
with compliments of evergreen, ever seen
under a dramatic sky of coral pink, sinks the heart
above, a celestial choir of sparkling stars
below, the steps of cobbled stone that steer
A generous garden filled with philodendron,
sewn are seeds grown in faculties of pure illume
wild floral essence sings sublime symphonies
No thorns that prick, no petals torn with pain,
they spark blissful emotions in her soulful eyes
She is in her seventh heaven, magenta fields,
moonlight conquers soulless shadows,
tepid air crystal calm is ever clear
tortious tears never flow as a sign of nobility
nor the elements be manipulated
Storms linger still, their spiral peaceful
where there are no scars, symbols of survival
from sins felt deeply by her descendants
nor nothing to conform against her will
yet not vulnerable, not evermore
For every June she visits the garden of Gemini
she is over the moon, in her forevermore
The witch awaits her chance to ride her broom
On Hallow’s Eve she does so love to zoom
Dressed in her black cape and stunning costume
Her cat on the back they fly o’er the moon.
Witch prepares her brew for folk to consume
Made from dead rats, bats and bones from a tomb
She adds mouse droppings from around the room
And mixes in chopped up death cap mushroom.
She bottles cat pee called ‘Bridal Perfume’
Some labelled ‘Aftershave fit for a Groom’
Loved by brides and grooms for their honeymoon
Till the honeymoon ends and hope is strewn.
So off she goes on the fright night of doom
Joining with ghosts, ghouls and goblins of gloom
People come sniffing out the cauldrons fume
But trot off soon to the nearest washroom.
Midnight approaches and witch strides her broom
Speedily flying raising sonic boom
Disturbing the birds who wrongly assume
It’s morning and they start to shake their plume.
The man in the moon cannot stand the vroom
He hides his face and earth turns dark illume
Then witch makes her descent through the volume
Therefore normality should resume soon.
Halloween 2021
they met, once upon a time-
her silky hand melds with his
for but a moment
an exchanged glance, fleeting
chocolate brown orbs
swimming in pools of milk
ebony hair dancing across her
backless gown as she walks away
walked away…
swirling visions fill his head
dreams of her upon his bed
spinning, thrashing to and fro
stars put on an astral show
future bride on horse so white
sparkling jewels illume the night
speaks his name so sweet and low
eyes that cast a hopeful glow
calling, begging for his love
angels dance a waltz above
off they ride into the sun
forevermore they’ll live as one
‘twas the night they met
her heart stolen-
tapered black tie suit, cufflinks of gold
matching his golden locks
momentarily awestruck, diving into
piercing deep blue eyes
was all it took to set her blood afire
his seductive smile teasing
it’s way into her heart…
late at night when the world is asleep
she’s up thinking about him,
secretly hoping he’s dreaming of her too
when she finally closes her eyes
she drifts off, and in a moment of time
she’s with him, ready to love him
bands of gold glimmer like starlight
her silky gown drops gently to the floor
Andromeda turns her gaze
lost in love’s embrace
they burn like the midnight sun-
forevermore to live as one
she glances his way
her heart smiling, believing-
meeting him was destiny
she walks past his desk
drinking in another fill of him
if only she could tell him…
if only he could tell her...
he catches a glimpse
from his lonely cubicle
the nape of her neck beckons
a tender kiss, well-placed-
before long he's lost in a daydream
