On a Passing Cloud There Floats a Dream

Let the truth be told and the Scriptures proclaimed,
because there is more to be seen than meets the eye.

Clouds are said to be the dust of the Lord's feet.*
But there are more down to earth things as well.

Nightmares should all be buried in the deepest pit.
Indeed, nightmares belong in the darkest regions,

and dreams should hitch a ride and float with the clouds.
Dreams should illume their brilliance as light from the sun.

Dreams should be multiple like formations of the clouds.
Clouds turn dark from the weight of liquid drops of living water,

but beware less your dreams darken and be mistaken for nightmares.
Sometimes our dreams are 'overcast' like clouds waiting for rain signals.

Wind storms and tornadoes are not the normal tasks for passing clouds.
When the monster under the canopy has passed, and when the vast blue skies

become clear, there's absolutely nothing to fear. You can rest assured that
on a passing cloud there floats a dream. When the clouds are scattered,

therein lie hope and a shadow of dreams. Those clouds, the dream carriers,
have made peace and declared a welcomed truce in the heavenlies.

Nightmares will often fight gallantly but are no match for devoted dreamers. The clouds will always give passage to dreamers and deny access to nightmares.
