“The earth laughs in flowers.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
A hummingbird feeds upon bright Spring blooms,
wings fluttering away.
As zinnia colors illume,
this warm Spring Day.
A butterfly appears in the garden,
With wispy wings in blue.
Hoping the hummer will pardon,
blessing it through.
Zinnia flowers gushing with color,
blooms dancing in the breeze.
Petals shaped in round half dollars.
Blossoms appease!
