I thought I was over it but still I haven't made it over this,
me and my outspokenness I can't help it I'm helpless to
the transition to deliver me from my sinfulness it's why
I'm overlooked and misunderstood but in Christ no
matter what it looks like I'm good, to die is gain and no
matter who I lose in this war it's all worth it, if they only
knew nothing on this earth can amount to the price I
been purchased with, this life was meant to offend,
destroy, & kill the old you so I count it all joy to the ones I
lost on the way. No matter what I say on what I did or
what I said, I did it all because no one could ever fill me
up with that everlasting bread

crushed at rock bottom he gathered the fragments of descent
slow motion agony that started at a plateau of deluded deceit
free falling sadness spiraling out of control beyond fast repair
the black dog on his shoulder had survived the fall and barked
another round of sadness an insurmountable sorrow cheered on
‘you are useless and even void and oblivion are having a laugh’
a tunnel with no light and the canary asphyxiated in the mine shaft
another panic attack unable to ease the landing of a scarred mind
scared and confused he gathered the pieces and stabbing shards
with broken bones and un-abating accusations he collected his guilt
fears and shame about yet another defeat at the foundation of evil
demons and miserable clairvoyants spoke in bifurcated obsessions
possessed by the mother of all depressions he reached for a glimmer
of hope he searched for a message from science deities and reason
yet unable to guide his emotions all efforts crashed without rescue
the rope had twisted once more and he dangled helpless face down
just enough slack to disfigure his angry face that featured disgust
and yet as the blood flooded his brain he surrendered his objections
one final attempt and he severed the noose with the open fracture of
the razor sharp dislocation sticking out just below the palm of his hand
with a further snap of his wrist and life line he surrendered lost dreams
if life gave you hemlock but the vessel had cracked on the impact
of the smash and grab of lifeless cycle of disassociated insanity he
resolved to drink his own blood and call upon autoimmune response
after all the medication had been useless and hours on Freud’s couch
had only imprinted more festering pressure sores on purulent skin
cognitive explorations had only dragged him further down self-denial
religion mantras and science had failed to invoke sanity and healing
levitation would not emerge when he fell from the edge of madness
the cross lay in pieces and nails had lacerated his heart and resolve
just when he felt the pulse getting weaker and with delirious gaze
he succumbed to a last ditch attempt to reassemble a piece of his soul
wrote an ultimate will on the wall and vowed to hand over let go and live

I stand on the edge of your ocean, ready to dive in
Wanting to discover the depths of you
I have looked at the surface of you
Beautiful beyond my puny words
Sometimes your calmness relaxes me
I become lost in your serenity
My eyes are stretched to your horizon
I can not see all of you
I play innocently along your shores
I dip my toes into your cool waters
Slowly I am drawn into you
I feel you encompass my body
Then there is an undertow
I am helpless to resist, drawn further from the shore
To the centre of you
I do not wish to escape
I trust you with my very soul
Sinking beneath the surface
I am wrapped in your embrace
Color surrounds me, my being is infused with your joy
The feeling of weightlessness, we are now joined
You are the beginning and completion of me
I was not meant to just stand on your shores
Dedicated to the Love of my life. I continue to explore the depths of her.
Locked up in an enclave
With no threads nor bars
Confined to a gaol of wit
Tied upon the folds unkind.
So weary from an inkling
As the moment's trance pound upon my thinking
But this heart is pure
Not fit for a hole as filthy as foul.
In a prison called mind
My legs do tremble within its walls,
Like every convict seeking the air of freedom,
I seek mine from the hands of boredom.
Darkness spreads upon the moment's reverie
Far across the land and the skies-
They taunt and haunt our very being
Setting our foot upon a land of thorns.
What if I watched from this dark walls
And paint a gloom of what beholds man?
What if I remain as meek as a muted flute
And fail to sound from the towers of justice?
Will I still be free from this prison called mind?
My nerves seems restless
Wishing to be subdued by this poetic recess,
But every sad tales-
That grace the moonlight
Is of woes and callousness.
Those woes:
Of broken homes and shattered dreams,
of grief and death beyond pity's sill,
Of hunger lingering on crumbling hill.
From the cruellest of lands
On the streets children take to arms,
And mothers wander helpless in search of alms.
Poverty and ignorance are still to hang on the scaffold,
Like a flood it sweeps across our land.
In this lone wall
Where thus peasants call
And the trampled in dusty mash-
Order the day to a gallant march.
To bring relief to the people
To stand by men when comrades call;
Never to languish in this prison called mind.
What are these thoughts going through my head
Conversations with an unknown voice
On what path will my body be led?
I feel helpless like I have no choice
I can't distinguish reality
Conversations with an unknown voice
With pills I lose creativity
Which way is better I do not know
I can't distinguish reality
I am vibrating from head to toe
Hanging on with a tentative grip
Which way is better I do not know
My mind like fluid, starting to slip
Is this how it feels to go insane?
Hanging on with a tentative grip
I can't see the light I'm lost in pain
Is this how it feels to go insane?
What are these thoughts going through my head
On what path will my body be led?
I wrote this to bring light to people in our society who suffer from Schizoprinia.
I volunteer with homeless people and some refuse treatment because they
find the numbness worse than the affliction. A good movie that deals with
this topic is "A Beautiful Mind"
:)
What kids are watching on telly
are crimes and crimes in all variety!
Crimes of hate
crimes of passion
acting it out at shocking rate
thinking in some wild fashion
then ending up cell mates!
When kids watch their movie heroes
shoot down people with the gun
they are incited to do the same
to achieve some thrill and fun.
When they see their very film star
slash someone's throat in a fit of anger
they think well of crimes of rage
and plunge everybody else into danger.
The tendency to portray the violent scene
luridly and shockingly on the Big Screen
Ah even for the small screen, tis the gory
that makes for the dark and thrilling story.
Now that technology's long opened this pandora's box
the dispersal of amplified social ills ain't no hoax
The rowdy hoodlums and reckless gangsters
are simply by-products of Tv influences
The world watches the thriving of the bully-boy pranksters
passively in helpless terror of their offences.
It's all portrayal of the vulgar, the obscene
by that devious Silver Screen
And the horror movie
though it may seem groovy
begets the horrendous
and drills evil thoughts subliminally
into the subconscious!
It's an unrestrained dark faking
of real life reality exaggerating
Whether it's Bollywood in the East
or it's Hollywood in the West
they don't merely impart tactics of defence
but rather those of aggressive offence
Viewing those gruesome swashbuckling films
gives rise to morbid sadistic whims
Flipping through the TV channels
just ponder if the telly's the perfect channel
of information is it a proper panel?
Dad always tells me, 'fear ye the roaches' flicking antennae?
While you oughtta fear the influence
of 'em' flickering images by dish antennae'.
Then a mere single merit that I dug
as I drank cappucino in my mug
that atleast one couldn't live in a bubble
daily watching the bubblebug.
Ah but then tougher gun laws couldn't halt
even underage shooting sprees
Rather it's stringent scanning of Tv content
that might make it all cease
Parental supervision too tis gravely essential
Should've been of parental code quintessential
So the next time you catch your teen
absorbed and engrossed while glued to the screen
Just sleuth a bit just to make sure
that for the x-rated he's not too keen!
Sullen face , unkempt hair,
Sharp eyes, could hide her sorrow
A kid girl, crossing daily
India- Myanmar border
In search of food!
This side, Moreh, a tiny town
Morning market, a hub, commercial
That’s the lifeline, for this tiny Burmese girl!
Wiping table after table
Washing dishes
Quietly she waits for the next order
Customers, Uncle, the restaurant owner,
All kings for her!
Sitting at the corner of the restaurant
Leisurely sipping tea
Soon my eyes catches her face,
Gun fight, no food, malnourished siblings
Helpless mother, resigned to fate, her father,
Her helplessness flashed on her sunken face!
I wish!
I could tell Uncle, her employer
Hey man, have mercy!
Suddenly, I heard the pale voice of her!
“Uncle, it’s time to go”,
Ok. Come next day early
He drew the drawer , a hundred rupee (INR),
Thought a moment , added another twenty rupees,
“you did well, lot of people, you deserve extra buck”,
Take this packet of food your home!
All on a sudden, flicker of smile on her face,
Her joy!
Blissful face of uncle, the owner
I could feel
Humanity spread large
On the floor of this restaurant!
Amid all these worldly burden,
Uncle, the last resort!
Love you through it all
Another disillusion,
leaves you crawling through the dust
More days of confusion,
another betrayal of trust
Your confidence is shattered,
and you feel you can't go on
A little bruised and battered,
and your will to live is gone
Chorus
When you think you've had enough,
cos, this life's just too tough
All you want to do is say goodbye
I'll come running whenever you call
I'll pick you up whenever you fall
I'll always be there...to love you through it all
I know sometimes you feel helpless
and it feels like it's the end
Just remember there is a purpose,
I'll be your forever friend
I know true love is waiting,
to hold you with loving arms
A chance you must keep taking,
to protect your heart from harm
Chorus
When you think you've had enough,
cos, this life's just too tough
All you want to do is say goodbye
I'll come running whenever you call
I'll pick you up whenever you fall
I'll always be there...to love you through it all
Could a friend be a lover?
he's standing right beside you
A love he's kept under cover,
so tell me, what will you do?
I've waited a whole lifetime,
watching you fall in and out of love
So, maybe today is the right time
to say, it's you I've been dreaming of
No need for conversation,
Cos my love for you is real,
You've got your reservations
Yeah, I know just how you feel!
Chorus
When you think you've had enough,
cos, this life's just too tough
All you want to do is say goodbye
I'll come running whenever you call
I'll pick you up whenever you fall
I'll always be there...to love you through it all
Yes,
I'll always be there...to love you through it all
I'll always be there...to love you through it all
I'll always be there...to love you through it all
fade to zero
