Come On Man, It's Christmas

I was a driver for a large delivery company whose primary business was with large commercial banks. I had every right to park in that commercial parking space. I indicated that I needed to park there, but “No!” was on his face. I was delivering time-sensitive packages in the Christmas season. I could tell, without a fight, he was not going to move for any reason; but in an instance, I considered my schedule, the season, and the man. I concluded that he was being unreasonable and would never understand. What came next could not have occurred by any natural means or wisdom. But for a moment I felt helpless and stressful, as if caged in an emotional prison. I believe that God gives us The Holy Spirit to help us and angels to serve us. Some 20 years ago, during that Christmas week on that stressful day, I had both to aid me without a fuss. I believe that The Holy Spirit and an angel gave me five words that changed everything. As if a light was turned on in his spirit, a mood of pleasantry took possession of his countenance; and he quickly moved when I said to him, “Come on man, It’s Christmas!” 121920PS
