Finally my blood began to coagulate,
and stopped to seep out of the slashed heart,
lacerated in the tempest of turmoil
by the sharp shards of your refutation.
In the memory meadow I found a crack split open
in the longing ledge of my hypnotized heart,
where the sole sapling of love bloomed in brilliance,
freed from the compelled confinement of isolation.
In your embrace my senses gracefully turned
into rhapsodic rhythm of heart enchanted within,
set the course of the lingering love so long latent
to sail in the sensuous stream of my yearning.
In the tormenting torrent of zooming zephyr,
as you drifted away unconcerned past me,
and blew a devastating storm of apathy,
my fragmented fervent feeling became rapture ruins.
Your flouting indifferent footsteps trampled
my emotive flower as you departed uncaring,
its crumbled petals made a wreath
for the bleeding bits of my broken heart.
In the flow of time I saw the essence of my soul,
its healing measures created the concerto of clotting,
as liquid lines turned into coalesced connection,
the splendorous suture made my heart whole again.

Once my heart was made of stone
Cold and hard, it stood alone
But then I met a gentle soul
Whose kindness made my heart whole
I felt a change, deep inside
As walls I'd built began to slide
Love seeped in and warmed my core
And all the hurt I felt before
Slowly faded, like a dream
As hope and joy began to gleam
I saw the world in a new light
And felt my heart take flight
Now, my heart beats with love and grace
And every smile I see, I trace
Back to the moment when I knew
That my heart had changed, and grew
From a lonely, bitter stone
To a warm and caring home
For all the love that I can give
And all the joy that I can live.
He loves me through the sorrow
He leads me through the pain
His joy and hope I often borrow
His mercy falls like a gentle rain
He fills my heart with inspiration
He lights the way to giving thanks
His wonders bring me pure elation
His holy song fills in all the blanks
He arouses my spirit’s imagination
He stirs my kindness and praise
His word awakens dawn’s creation
His brilliance sparkles, all ablaze
He gives my soul a second chance
He frees my mind to pray for peace
His will kindles a lively, new dance
His gentle kindness will not cease
He moves me through the quiet
He restores my hope and insight

His amazing grace will always excite

He encourages my dreams to grow
His compassion makes my heart whole

He fills my thoughts with tender affection
His warmth reassures my hope so I agree

He is the One who gives my whole life meaning
He leaves me feeling like I’ve been completed

My heart is depleting, it is becoming thin and fragile.
I can feel it slowly crumbling.
The pieces have started falling to the floor.
They instantly shatter.
I try to pick them up,
yet my fingers are sliced from the shards of black glass.
I want to collect all the pieces,
put them back together to make my heart Whole and beautifully alive again,
but I continue to slash my fingers wide open.
I’m unable to put it all back how it once was.
Without my beating heart I have no energy, no love to give.
I want to lay down and not think at all.
I don’t want the small fragment that is barley still dangling,
to fall and shatter,
continuing to building upon all the tiny particles below.
The Pieces on the floor are now soaked in blood and tears.
I feel I may never recover.
I no longer know who I am or why I am even here.
Everything seems lost, dark and horribly hopeless.
I pray that the one shred of this coal heart will turn pink and grow.
That somehow it can expand and create a new heart,
a stronger heart that will beat loud and full of pure love.
I have given myself healing time to process everything.
The tears from my eyes are finally dry,
the sliced fingers wounds are now healing.
I can see clearly now,
I look upon the lifeless broken pieces of my heart,
still clustered on the floor.
I can see that they no longer serve me.
My heart had turned so weak and frail because it was not reviving any love.
I put my freshly scabbed fingers to my chest,
to feel the flicker of the one piece of heart still hanging on.
I close my eyes and send pure love to it.
I realize I need to love myself and love my heart,
that is what it needs to grow and become whole.
Self love,
being completely excepting and fully in love with me is the answer!
It’s so obvious to me now,
I’m grateful for my old neglected heart,
it is no longer trying to survive off the love of others,
scared when it didn’t receive any,
for now I don’t need it.
I have myself and that’s who completes me.
I thank the shards as I sweep them off the floor,
my feet are now ready to dance upon where they once lay,
so thankful that the body I never thought would want to get up again is thriving,
flourishing once more!

You bring my darkened world much needed light
I feel darkness every single day
Because of you it does not block my way
With your love I have broke free from my chains
My heart was damned, but now it lives again
Your eyes bring me peace, your touch feeds my soul

When I close my eyes and drift off to sleep
It’s you that I see, in my heart so deep

For I'll, defend all my friends till time ends.

And, when it comes to revenge I'm a whiz.
All kidding aside, I just want your soul.
I'll, make false promises, to earn your trust.
So, I can feast upon your sad heart whole.
If there's any fuss, I'll make you combust.
For I, am as evil as they come.
With, my artillery of trickery.
That I, will use on the weak to succumb.
To, an eternity of misery.

happy am I, come look and see
on top of the world being free
ready are they, ready am I
soaring through wind under blue skies
enchantment fills my soul
songs enter my heart whole
horses horses horses is the word
only they will do
roses may be red
sun and moon may light
earth a place where life resides
such is the same of this gentle soul
happy the horse, come witness pageantry
once is enough to be butterfly free

spirited is a horse and rider bouquet
