It comes to me dreaming
of rebirth trice with mirth;
enlightening of light
shimmering more brightly.
A breath, filled with flowers:
radiant and lovely
peppermint amaryllis,
blush amaranths, bluebells,
lavender bellflowers
and a plethora of weeds.
A storm rose swarm with life
to forge passion, desire
and sensuality
burning more intensely
contained deep in my soul.
I gather up my words,
plunge in lull suffering
with emotions and scatter
on a page; pirouette
letters to form feelings
to feel my soul-heart
of rebirth trice with mirth.

4. I gather up my words
plunge - suffering - rose - soul
November is a thin needle under the shortest rib,
often it slips past your moat, your portcullis,
your castle walls unnoticed.
The fire in your kitchen splutters
and the wood is too wet to rekindle it.
Only then do you look through a spy glass
from your highest tower
see the wraiths churning in the sparse woods,
see the dervish dance of demented bones
resurrected from last year.
Chill November is here
and the guards are asleep.
The dark winter of your content
needs a new puffer jacket.
Call for the seamstress of your soul,
call for the mitten maidens.
Gather up the woolens
for all the wind soaked feet
that have to march on.
Yard Sale
Time to gather up
Old items and dirty cups
Clothes with only use as rags
Place them unto a bag
Don't forget the ones of stain
As we seek to be on the threshing floor of grain
There is one to come purchase it all
My prayer is that one accepts His call
No need to worry of putting up signs of the sale
It's all been paid for once received will live the tale
Of how the One who knew your every need
Brought forth the bread of heaven to feed
To cast out all the things this world did instill
As the living water begins to flush out and fill
Storing up new treasures not bought in this earth
Which is found through the heavenly mother birth
In this poem to tell of the true sale
Of the One who removes weeds to provide a new trail
Black night, black thoughts merging into one
No sword shall sever this gordian knot
that binds my being in longing and despair
My tortured soul cries out
filled with a longing to crush
the things that torment me so
I see them with the mind's eye
and would strangle them
but they recede into the shadows
to mock me anew in ripened time
But now let my soul be at rest
even for a fleeting moment
for I am finally free
Free!
The very sound is music to my ear
filling the mind with such fantasies
that leap to the heavens
and leaves me panting just alive
As a man who is spent I rest
and waves of gentleness flood my soul
The thought of a tender kiss
the smell of a rose, Jove's nectar
soothes my being and sets my soul at ease
to gather up courage
to face another day
(wrote this at a dark period in my life in my 20s)
In gentle breeze, a prism swings,
until each side has felt the sway
It hangs there by a thread of string
while waiting for the sun to play.
Sun passes by, so brief a glance
refracting light from morning skies
And soon my eyes must do a dance,
entranced by all the butterflies !
Thrown against the wall as dice
Into a million moths that clone
from splintered sunlight, color- spliced,
as clear as ice, precisely honed.
And as it twirls, more colors soar
With constellations telescoped
They rise up deep from prism's core
as if to make kaleidoscopes.
Walls gather up the rainbow's hue
Stain-glassed winglets for my view
Although I try to catch a few
They fly away, ...while sun does too.

I
Yesterday,
I can never get back-
and I have to find the strength when days are black.
When a dark shadow comes I pray,
going inner like a red folded rose;
where grief has froze;
and gone into the light,
never forgotten and always in my heart,
I ask courage to not depart.
And I sit all alone at night,
where imagination takes flight;
and I write.
II
Tranquility,
in a tempest storm-
I force myself to find peace and words form,
I gather up and harvest my serenity;
and from my bleeding pen drips my thoughts
with a heart in knots.
Oh, will I take a chance,
now, my love is on a distant shore?
Will I find a man with valour?
He is misty in my dream trance,
but I am ready to accept romance;
at a glance.
III
Surrender,
I tell myself with tears-
even when I hesitate with deep fears
I remind myself life is full of splendor,
as I look out from my petals crimson red.
Life is but a thread,
so difficult yet full of charm and grace.
Will I find a man who gives affection,
or will I face rejection?
Yes, I can almost see his face,
with love we will embrace;
and sadness erase.

I've Done a Lot of Things in My Life
I Know I Shouldn't Have Done,
But Ninety Percent of What I Did,
Was out of Boredom and Wanting Some Fun.
Then One Day I Was Introduced,
To the Savior's Saving Grace.
He Taught Me Faith and Trust..
And the Knowledge Shows on My Face.
I Would like for All the World,
To Feel like I Did Then.
It's Very Hard to Describe It,
But it Will Feel like this to the End.
So, If You Don't Know Jesus,
I Shall Pray for You and Your Soul.
Because It's a Wonderful Feeling,
And It's as High as You'll Ever Go.
Now, Come on and Fly with Me,
Down the Pathway to Forever,
We'll Gather up Others on the Way,
As We Travel this Road Together.

Tell me what do you really have to lose when you come and accept in your heart,God’s son?
Don’t you think that this is much better, than burning in hell, a place so much hotter than the very sun?
Life can offer us so much more than we can handle it in too many unfortunate moments of our life
Sometimes we can’t see things clear and that’s when we can make more mistakes and find in our way more pain and strife.
It seems there are so many choices in our life, and more things to choose from all the time, everyday
So be watchful and choose everything very carefully, as you find sometimes your way.
Every day the sun raises high, but sometimes the sun hides and heavily falls only rain
In every blade of grass dews shine and in every roses petals love awakes and hopes then reigns.
Time passes painfully slow sometimes, time watches and never ever stops for you me nor anyone.
Reflections of bygone days are great, when people and times were a lot kinder than what we have today.
Life is good and bad too, do you want it more good than bad, well, that’s the choice you have to opt for.Make it right!Make it worthwhile!
Why don’t you give something instead of taking for a change, give a word of encouragement give away your smile.
Life wasn’t ever meant to be just fine and see love and smiles on everybody’s hearts, eyes and face
The world is not just like that in real life, and our life is not even balanced most of the time, any place
People everywhere just grab and take all them can,but there's still hope, even when most people seem not to care
And as I look at the glow fading fast thru my window, clouds with their arms high, gather up lovingly, all the remmnants,of the days glare!
Run and Catch the Wind
Run and catch the wind, little one,
Fly on wings above the trees;
Make a clubhouse in the clouds
Let every dream soar like a breeze
Capture sunbeams in a jar
Like fireflies on a summer night
So no matter where you wander
You will always carry God’s light
Shake the stardust from the North Star
Gather up each sparkling light
Build magic castles on starry shores
Each day find new delights
Ride on waves of laughing foam,
A dolphin playing in the sea,
Happiness your forever friend
With gifts of blessings always free
Wake up each morning with the sun
Cuddle the moon in moonlight slumbers
Slide down rainbow afternoons
Treasure these and all life’s wonders

As Sol slips off of the Earth's edge,
twilight slowly morphs into night.
And Autumn colors disappear
as dusk dims all remaining light.
Wildlife shivers in frigid winds,
contemplating the coming snow.
And dusk smears the horizon red
as crimson rivers ebb and flow.
Hoar-frost clouds, like paper towels,
expunge all traces of blue skies.
And darkness darkens the heavens
till the stars twinkle like fireflies.
Squirrels gather up acorns to
stash in final preparation.
And flurries of flakes hail Winter
in joyous anticipation.
Fall's horn of Cornucopia
gives way to empty fields of muck.
And Autumn’s beauty slips away,
much like the last migrating duck.
