BUBBLES
You begin life in a bubble…in a quiet underwater room
floating effortlessly and safely inside your mother’s womb.
Once you enter the world…you quickly come to see
you are safe, protected and loved…inside the bubble of your family.
You grow up inside this bubble…inside that warm and comforting space…
believing that the world, like your bubble, is a safe and happy place.
But at a certain age you discover…although your bubble is a beautiful place to be
It is also very fragile and can be popped or broken easily.
Somewhere along the way you find within this bubble in which you are immersed
how death, sorrow, heartache or hatred…can make your bubble burst.
And once your bubble pops…say from hateful words so freely spoken
you realize you cannot re-enter a bubble…once it has been broken.
What you need to realize once your bubble bursts…even though it can’t be mended
is that it was just a bubble…and not your life that’s ended.
And what makes bubbles so amazing…after they’ve been broken or deflated…
Is how, with the warmth of your family and friends…a new bubble is created.
As this new bubble forms around you…and begins to float…then soar…
you realize this new expanded bubble is a little stronger than your bubble was before.
So every time your bubble bursts..allow yourself the time you need to grieve…
but know you’re not alone…know this is a grief that you can weather.
by turning to your family and friends…and creating a new bubble…together.
Yes, remember every time your bubble breaks…as you cry and scar and bleed
that you are surrounded by people who will help you create as many bubbles as you need.
You began life in a peaceful bubble…and when it’s time for your life to end…
you are meant to leave this world peacefully…
in a bubble of family and friends.
If beauty has a face it would look like you
If a smile could smile at anyone it would smile at you
If kindness needed a warm hug it would ask you
If I could kiss any boy forever I would kiss you
If I could hold anyone’s hand I would ask you
If I could change the world it would be with you
If determination had any dreams it would marvel at your visions
If heaven knew what love is it would look at your heart
If time had any patience it would be happy to wait with you
If fashion had anymore flare it would be as bright as you
If I had only one choice I would only choose you
If I could change the world It would be with you
If I had all the riches in the world I would give it up just for you
If I had nothing left in this world I give my life just to save you
If I had to let you go for you to be free I would for you
If I love anyone person anymore it could be you
If I could change the world it would be with you
From change to change
From pain to pain
From soul to soul
From heart to heart
If I had one choice we would never part
If I could change the world it would be with you
For Aunt Carolyn, in memory of Uncle Dennis
They were just teens outside a gift shop door,
He said, "Come on, Darling, let’s go explore."
With a wink and a grin, and her hand in his,
They stepped into life, not knowing how rare love like this is.
From navy bases to state lines they flew,
Boxes unpacked and smiles that grew.
Never a house—always a home,
Because love made each place their own.
He’d kiss her forehead, she'd fix his tie,
Even their bickering made cupids sigh.
Like teenagers dancing in a kitchen floor war,
Even their "fights" left you loving them more.
They held hands through hospital halls,
Through birthday cake crumbs and late-night calls.
And even when life was painfully tough,
They reminded us all—true love is enough.
Now she stands where he once stood near,
A bit more quiet, but holding him dear.
Because the thing about love that’s truly true—
Is it doesn’t end. It just waits for you.
So Aunt Carolyn, brave heart, please know this is true:
He’s just ahead now, saving a seat for you.
Still saying with that boyish grin so clever:
"Come on, Darling... let’s do forever."
There are many items in an Italian deli.
Numerous meats and cheeses are a delicacy.
Anyone can see several types of salami.
There are plenty of delicious things for you and me.
With breads and rolls, Prosciutto, Cappicolo, Coteghino,
everything they have there makes a beautiful scene.
The Italians have what you need for a submarine.
Olive salad, pasta salad, any kind of cheese,
one can find it in the deli; anything can please.
If you like Italian cheese, then you are not alone.
There are many like mozzarella and provolone.
No one starves inside an Italian deli.
When hungry at lunchtime, it’s the place to be!
Here are the ways to pronounce the three types of cold cuts mentioned in line 5:
Prosciutto=(pro-SHOOT)
Cappicolo=(gabba-GOAL)
Coteghino=(gitta-GEEN)
a storm in my chest can’t sleep tonight
I loved too deep, I burned too bright
shadows callin’ my name again
every loss leaves a tiny flame
walked through nights that never end
felt the ache my bones couldn’t mend
tears fall quiet, yet they still sting
haunted by everything morning brings
i’m the dragon bleeding slow
heart fights hard but moves too slow
scars tell stories, falls make songs
i’ve been lonely, i’ve been strong
see me now, know this is true
i rise from ashes, i cry for you
world tries to cage the fire i claim
i roar, i rise, can’t tame my flame

That silly giggle
Snickering and twittering
Long before there was even a Twitter
It comes from the heart
That steady gaze
Straight in the eye, reflecting
Amazement, wonder, appreciation
It comes from the heart
That warm embrace
Whispering grace across your thoughts
Pouring out hope and joy and light
It comes from the heart
That breath of kindness
Echoing gentleness through the skies
Creating silhouettes of quiet enchantment
It comes from the heart
That prayerful promise
Sought by intimate wonders
Dreams filled with melodies purring
It comes from the heart
That silent knowing
Understanding that speaks without words
Healing grief with assurance
It comes from the heart
That vibrant passion
Coloring love in inspirations
Awakening feelings, sweet blessings
It comes from the heart
That way of trust
Believing in the soul’s elation
When it gives without expectation
It comes from the heart
That praise and worship
Celebrating the Lord and Savior
With honor and devotion
It comes from the heart
That blessing of sharing
Given to the ones who listen
To His wisdom, His peace, His insight
It comes from the heart
That beauty that promises
Wonderful gifts of courage, optimism
Motivating, encouraging, stirring elation
It comes from the heart
My love for you, my friend
Love that is alive, filled with feeling
Compassion that bleeds healing
It comes from the heart!
All the oceans in this world
Could never hold my tears
Nothing here can take away
The silence you left here
I still wake and reach for you
I can’t believe its true
I never wanted memories
I only wanted you
I miss the little things you'd say
The comfort in your touch
The way you'd light the darkest days
When life became too much
I miss you every morning
Every night and every day
I’d give all my tomorrows
For just one more yesterday
You were my reason to believe
My shelter from the storm
My hopes, my dreams my everything
The place my heart felt warm
Though the world keeps turning on
I'm lost without your spark
You're still my forever shining star
Lighting up the dark
When they asked what words I want
Engraved upon your stone
The only words my heart could find
Were ‘darling please come home’
You were my every reason
My hopes and all my dreams
Someone to believe in
When I questioned what life means
Always there to guide me
My forever shining star
I’d give my all to have you here
Or be there where you are
In a world of endless change
It’s the soul that never dies
In a crowd of strangers
Still I see you in my eyes
This pain will never go away
My shattered heart wont mend
Lonely days and empty nights
Are now my only friend
But if you’re looking down from Heaven
Watching over me
I hope you see the love you left
Still shaping who I'll be
And though this pain may never fade
And time can't make it far
Your light will always guide my way
My forever shining star...

I dream a pure winter wonderland dream,
where I wear a shimmering wedding dress;
and I am enclosed with glimmer and gleam.
I remember that day- when I said yes,
and my ruby wine lips you did caress;
my love, my heart you will ever possess.
Yet, in my dream I am alone in white,
lost in a frozen wilderness of ice;
I breathe deeply the pristine landscape bright.
My love is drenched in tears- that is the price,
this heart is ice-kissed in a bitter vice;
oh, your arms around me sure would be nice.
Crisp magical snow in a quiet haze,
I am searching for you my sweet lover;
in dreams, I wander snow trails in a daze.
Did you take refuge in snow for cover,
in this ice world for me to discover?
Then, I find you love- and there I hover.
I hover among the tombs white capped,
but, only in one is my love ice wrapped.
As your man
I'll lift the world on my shoulders,
just to make sure you are free
of all stress and aggravation.
Then I'll drop down on bended knee
in total adoration and appreciation
for you.
For this is how a true King
represents his Queen,
for he understands this is not a sign
of weakness,
as many men choose to believe,
but it's an acknowledgement
of the sweetness
that is the very essence of SHE.....
your lady.
Ask any real man and he'll agree,
that he
is the reflection of a greater woman,
because she is his harmony.
So as your man,
I'll stand by your side with pride
and lift the world on my shoulders,
just to make sure you are free
of all stress and aggravation,
this is appreciation for all you mean
to me,
and to think,
God lent me His masterpiece
for this lifetime.
Yes, as your man......
God Does Nothing Half Way
Written: by Tom Wright
3-1-2014
Some years ago God introduced,
A special person to our path;
One whom I couldn’t turn away,
Without incurring God’s wrath;
She became more than a friend,
One over whom oft we’d fret.
Neither time span nor miles,
Ever furnished reason to forget;
We can’t explain this alliance,
Nor do we feign to understand.
We just accept it as God’s will,
You were sent to make life grand.
Sometimes the simplest event,
Changes life’s course one day;
We hope you feel our love for you,
For God does nothing half way.
