Every planet in our solar system
Rotates in an anticlockwise direction
Except Venus which insists on being different
Always one has to be the exception
About 75 acres of pizzas are downed
In America every single day
Probably chow down about an acre myself
So I do my share wouldn't you say
Our eyes are always the same size from birth
However noses and ears get bigger
Imagine if our footsies also kept growing
Hard to do the Charleston I'd figure
The disgusting cockroach is the fastest animal
It covers about a meter a second
That's faster than me when I need to go badly
Running and holding my back end
They say only rabbits and parrots can see
Behind without turning their heads
But mothers also seem to have that ability
Try stealing some cookies before bed
A goldfish's memory is about 3 seconds
The same as me on a good day
That's excellent as far as most seniors go
Wish it was longer but what the hey
Iguanas can stay under water 28 minutes
Me too, but I'd miss all my friends
Sure hope they'd visit me one last time
Before off to the furnace I descend
All bubble gum contains a bit of rubber
For that bouncy bally effect
Makes you able to leap over tall buildings
But watch you don't break your neck

I love you better
than Cookies and Cream,
my lifelong favorite
more than seas playing footsies
with shore clams
in cuddly tropical sands
The warmth of enticing Caribbean
soothing waters
(billowy-sails...fields of overhead
stars...night's complicit fireflies
helping chart to a romantic cove
a beat-up heart seeking a paradise-like
new-start)
(a desire for tasteful, novel, cheerful effervescent
brew, a need to leave on the old dock past that settled for
impure bitters)
( navigate clear of thought defacing
apps like Facebook's and Twitter's
that falsely entice, tempt
a free-thinking, sacred spirit, to
express living solely on a mindless
uncaring device – not a true life, just a
wax slice
not abiding complete, but in fact,
manipulated into electronic defeat....)
Petals need firm attachment if to be
enticing blushing roses~ blooms for crinkly smiles,
puckering lips and playful toes-es –
Valentines of
perfumed hearts made of hand-laid,
lacy type paper, crafted by flirty eyes
in agreement with pheromone receptive
noses
A softly played harp...a bower of flowers...
Back lathering showers shared – which
requires a minimum of two daring
hearts...wantonly, lovingly paired –
Love is always trumpeted, openly, fondly, vociferously
musically declared....
A San Francisco Haiku Quartet
Oh San Francisco
Beat poets Ferlinghetti
North Beach was our city
Hushed conversations
Rich coffees and biscotti
Smothered in rich fog
Our French cigarettes
Then under table footsies
Moonlit hills our home
Cable cars singing
Golden Gate from our window
Heaven and stars..ours

I'm haunted by this image of someone
With a smile that lights up the room
Colorful teeth that are so enticing
Often seen riding a broom
Skinny legs knees meet in the middle
Big footsies the size of canoes
Hair like a mass of squirmy worms
Breath smelling a lot like pooh
Gangly arms hanging down to her knees
Eyes that each look in a different directions
Gnarly fingers so boney and bent
Quite a sight sure gets your attention
Forgive me for running off at the mouth
This was an alarming vision I saw
A nightmare to end all nightmares for sure
A vision of my dear mother-in-law!
if it's just lust
if it's just lust
no one goes bust
...then throwaway the rose
and prose
the idle stalk
and blank talk
playing footsies
and tootsies
shaken
and baking
in the oven
of shadow loving ...
find your knees
to please
if it's just lust
no one goes bust
give me your tulips
stop the peeping Judas
and let be mouth sweet
basking in your teeth
to play the piano keys
making our hearts freeze
if it's just lust
no one goes bust
give me your second tulips
of garden petals drops
to the rising sun
and the land of fun
to the sandy beach
where big waves screech
a sprint to the finish
holding on with a grimace
if it's just lust
no one goes bust
give me your third tulips
as the dark side bends and dips
in the face of virgin wool
as hearts and tears pool
as the piano man
comes pitching his grand
if it's just lust
no one goes bust
the night is on fire
tulips fulfilling every desire
the candle is lit
rising, rising every bit
as the tulips sit in her quivering vase
a cherub afterglow on their faces
connie pachecho

Food, food, glorious food
Eating is such a wonderful thing
No matter what time of day it is
Wolfing down makes my dear heart sing
Why I get out of bed each day
The smell of bacon frying away
Follow my proboscis to the kitchen
Where Cathie's prepares brekkie each day
It's that oh so heavenly smell
Footsies don't even touch the floor
Gliding down the stairs like a nymph
So enthralled like many mornings before
I sit down and dear dear Cathie
Serves me brekkie that's fit for a king
Burst out with, “What a Beautiful Morning”
As we both raise our voices and sing
A delightful scene, albeit unusual
It's how we Ellisons start off the morn
Singing and dancing and kissing and stuff
Makes me so overjoyed to be born
Food, food, glorious food
Eating is such a wonderful thing
No matter what time of day it is
Wolfing down makes my dear heart sing
So here I go, back to the sillies
Jumping in with both my footsies
Clear the decks, full steam ahead
Hope I don't hurt my tootsies!
The world's my oyster as they say
I don't like that incantation
Think I'll use another term
Like the world is my crustacean!
I'm just as happy as a pig in poop
Have you never heard that before?
It's really an absolute favourite of mine
Going to use it a whole lot more!
Never know what's coming out
I just hope and pray that it's clean
Don't wanna get kicked off the lovely site
For something that's really obscene!
Which came first, the chicken or egg?
Bet you don't even have a clue
So you're not the brightest bulb in the pack
Did you ever get past grade two?
Okay! Enough of this silly nonsense
I must go lie down for a while
My oversized brain is hurting real bad
Need to get back my radiant smile!

Butterbrickle ice cream in a sparkling Waldorph crystal dish.
You~feeding it to me on a long, silvered spoon, is my fondest wish.
Our shoeless feet with socks, shamelessly play footsies on the shiny,
black and white. polished floor.
When finished will walk so in love, to that windy, autumnal door.
Hands in my angora covered gloves, that you so gently hold,
Even the inside of your car is way beyond the forecast's cold.
Let our loving breaths,on the chilled windows steam.
Being in love in autumn....truly, a Butterbrickle dream!!
