Premium Member Exquisite Love Grasping Hands

The eye-to-eye association flick life away.
Pretty natural tones ring out in my flyway
Light, invisible hands bait me to the clay.
It's excessively captivating of a grasp to assay.

Blissful lyrics led me to find my way to an archway.
I heard a sublime newly birth beat straightaway.
This soft, serene sparkle enlightens my allay.
Light stream is drawing me closer, yet I'm splay.

Bright rays awe me as I convey a lovely hallway.
My body, then again, lies on the chilly, acrid clay.
It feels incredible to be released of such a weigh
I was bare and defenseless, alike a newborn aweigh.

Steady heartbeats draw me near my doorway.
Once I hand up control to virtue, I can utterly inlay
Still, I'm alive, and I enjoyed doing it anyway.
I can't ponder anything when I stare at the Milky Way.

A dyed eye-to-eye correlation feature is held at bay.
Why should we fear death? Because of doomsday.
All were created by God, the sole crucial soothsay.
We are all born to die, thus is no need to yell or dismay.

Premium Member Clarity of Purpose

(This piece is dedicated to those innocent youths gunned down inside institutes of learning, by guns improperly regulated, and utilized by cold, heartless entities who committed these crimes without an iota of guilt or remorse. It is also a bold criticism to those lawmakers who are just as frigid and have done nothing about it and are more concerned about political contributions going to their coffers).

                                           Clarity Of Purpose

Adolescents prodding elders for elucidations responded to evasively
Probing Machiavellian faces heralding scathing biases superciliously
Hindered and challenged fiercely resisting like the endangered tiger
Opposing mortal greed searching for answers revitalizing will power

Bullets impale youths with weapons running rampant on the streets
Second amendment used as shield whilst corpses bloodstain sheets
Talking heads blatantly blamed mental disorder as the sole offender
While the fragmented system of law abandons to uphold a defender

Mired in the abyss of ambiguity noble objectives negates doomsday
Induced by human instincts defying monsters lurking along the way
The mind ponders are they worth venerating if they conceal disgust
Clarity of purpose stained with wicked machination morph into dust

Premium Member 2 Minutes to Midnight

Inspired by the song of the same name by Iron Maiden

In nineteen eight-four, a heavy metal band
made a statement about a minute hand.
The Doomsday Clock was ticking down,
telling us we might not be around -
much longer.

You could say, now is now, and then was then,
But, maybe, it's nineteen eighty-four again,
except, that now, it is the second hand,
to tell us how long we have left to stand -
on earth.

Today, the timer stands at eighty-nine -
makes you wanna drink Drano or turpentine.
It's not that I want to cry or make a fuss,
but the murderer, my friends, is us -
you and I.

There are many ways that we could all die.
You might think we should get ready to say goodbye.
Nukes, climate change, and greenhouse gasses,
are some things that could kill the masses -
uh oh.

How ever did we get into this mess?
I do not know the answer, I confess.
How can the human race resolve it?
Those who caused it, now must solve it -
you and I

Premium Member An Astronaut in Blue

The wings wrap-squeeze the sun, animated
With cogent hued uplift, infused with dawn,
And eagle strong; true bold and serrated.
The contrast dance ebon and brilliant swan.
So bright, not pale; choice blends and nothing wan.
Courage and conviction in feathered blades.
Behind the glass, the creation pervades.

And far below, the tender grass afloat;
Diver’s deep sea bubbles like butterflies;
Lime green fishes, its levity devote.
Footsteps of Jesus land worldwide, in guise.
Unmasked serenity without the lies.
For each sharp blade, Father planted the seeds.
He unifies, and separates the weeds.

An astronaut in blue; he’s armored up.
He could be anyone; a him or her.
Climb in to suit, for God’s got you, way up.
It doesn’t matter if you’re an amateur.
First burial in suit; out of inter.
The Spirit’s wings on fire - attached, reborn.
Eternally airborne - glory’s adorn.

See the blossom sunrise; tears wiped away.
Eye eucatastrophe top, bottom, sides;
And nightingales, bluebirds, without doomsday,
Riveting with angel voices. The bride’s
Light glorious; delighted Christ provides.
Celebration - the table’s set, sit down.
Listen to peace and love, with no comedown.

Winter Bound

Hindered by the depth and breadth of winter
Cliffs dangle just outside the bungalow
With clear icicle mysteries remote
Hanging over shingles for dear life

Inside, imprisoned safe and sound
The hunter counts his rounds of ammunition
Riffle nestled useless by the common fire side
No chasing prey this season
Sleep takes its place
Why shoot the snow without a reason
It would only blow around and settle somewhere else

Outside the storm brings misery
Three feet of snow to block the door
Wind rattles windows to claw inside

The cabin remains remote, imprisoned
Embedded in the snow
More inches rise with no where else to hide
But down on frozen lakes on powder blue
Cold holds on to banks of solid earth
All those inches piled high for what
Filling up the landscape with so much white

Pines cling on to memory of ice below the tundra line
Like all good trees they freeze but never die
Over sleeping keeps the bears in dens
No need for hunting them
It would only mean their end

The realization of how quickly drifts can rise
Accumulations conspired by cruel natures wrath
Shear numbers of snow flakes conspire
Wind and sky hold up the nights good-bye
Now stuck inside the simple shelter fixed

Winter bound, oats are hunters sustenance, companion
Along with tea and lemon, honey makes the best of company
Will see him through to doomsday, till things turn about
Closed in on times advances
A captive audience of one
Now waits in winter wonder
On snowy mountain counting down the hours

Spring Season Serves As Natural Antidote

Sunshine undulates across verdant plain
casting dark shadows ushering twilight zone
ringing athwart tree trunks
invigorating, joyously kickstarting,
and plenti revitalizing
bountiful nature buzzfeeding

vim, vinegar and *****
caressing, massaging, and palpating with
soundlessness inducing bub bully giddy,
and sudsy spongy schmaltzy
harmonic livingsocial kerplunk
also intoxicating this perk o' late

ting teetotaler, no longer ginger
who doth oft times ale
with melancholic funk,
whereat imbibing nectar
of the Gods with fulfillment
temporarily quicken ends euphoric,
albeit 'pon firm meant soberly drunk.

Ah...nothing more uplifting
than (Anita Bryant raisin eyebrows)
plugging sunkist orange treat,
this sensate being privy,
sans front row seat
agog at orchestral, festival, viz

choral paean courtesy sweet
flora and fauna feat
bequeathed to Mother Earth,
a requiem pulsating with heartbeat
pitch perfect exultation
glorifying spring days soon obsolete

ethereal, ideal, and
sensational tonic to gin
prestidigitation, qua
natural psychological helpmeet
pleasant distraction with intent to read
temporarily placating, needling craving

for Pete sakes daily
fix this news junkie,
trembling when complete
awareness he doth accrete,

where quite glum, how
civilization didst mistreat
planet, hence feeling downbeat,
especially haunting ghosts of
Native Americans drumbeat
signal harbinger debacle

i.e. environmental doomsday
soon fated extinction
sealed and complete
inexorably inching closer to reality

necessitating superman to defeat
global warming rendering vast swaths
uninhabitable as Gaia global
temperature packs tremendous heat!

DON'T BE THE ONE

The title to this royal castle
Will certainly be lost someday
But don’t be the one that would
Make the alienation happen

This dynasty, the royal lineage
Even if it sets a new record
That surpasses that of Yamato
Will definitely cease someday
But don’t be the one on the throne then
Don’t be the last king of
The highly revered bloodline
Less history will remember
How your failure to fight and win
The enemies your fathers fought
Cost the family and the kingdom
The throne they had secured
And protected with their lives
Or do you think they had it all smooth?

But beyond the throne
I say to you and to all:

The current ecosystem could collapse
With the ever rising industrialization
Ceaseless deforestation and worsening
Water, land and air pollution
But don’t be the generation
That will make it happen

So, I implore you all to say
With me every blessed day
Before the tireless sun rises:

'I will not hurt Mother Earth today
My word and action will always
Support the natural balance
That makes Her the one and only
Planet that supports life.'

When we all say this;
When we all do as we say
Mother Earth’s festering wound
Caused by her greedy children
Would heal perfectly with time
And the doomsday painted
In the works of the Cli-Fi writers
If ever it comes as painted
Will not happen in our time
Or in the days of our children
Who will learn from me and you
The need to take care of Mother Earth
To avert the dreadful doomsday

Premium Member Beginning and End Choice

These days they protect the sinners unlawfully
discarding all good values where equality has become a twisted act
against victims loyalty burning sacrifice hell
it has no fury like the scorn of the devil in such a beast
unforgiving creatures born from nightmares
they exist to walk this earth like a plague
fighting this evil chain weighing heavy doomsday
disturbing humanities balance in such weakness their grows strength
where hope cries for the love of God within pities sake
truth is overturned inside seedless lies corrupting morality
giving the podium to a shame and disgrace against peace
the oldest story has awakened today leaping through time
errors of judgement will befall us all if we remain blind

George Washington Set Potus Precedent

This revolutionary fella followed by
Adams family patriarch,giving rise
twin heir (plain lee gifted "Renaissance
Man") Jeff force'n without hemming

and hawing, subsequently conceding
nexus (nor horse drawn Lexus) of Colonial
power to Madison, thence Monroe
buttoned up as suitable candidate after
which younger Adams elected.

Thirty four followed Jackson's club
trumpeting (some Obama nib bully)
bushwhacking their way predicated
on faulty Algorithm, charming
charismatically with hint of Clint

like glint in eyes, blinding populace,
sans ray gun (Reagan), Car Tour ring
with peanut gallery in tow, affording
(unpopularly pardoning unfashionably),
a Jerry rigged nixed son, followed

by John's son tainted by stain of Vietnam,
but with said Southeast Asian debacle,
one ken heady (sporting thick styled hair)
inherited an internecine conflict, essentially

precipitated, when Eisenhower hardened
political stance against any allies of the
Soviet Union, (sans The Viet Cong), and
pledged his firm support to Diem
and South Vietnam.

Now with preceding administration, one
harried true man unleashed advent of atomic
spectra upon Hiroshima, and Nagasaki, this
purported preemptive measure scary ruse

felt to thwart exaggerated Japanese government
threat (military intelligence) scheming to
wreak untold havoc upon American troops
within the Pacific theater of World War II.

The former horrific decision controversial,
then and to this day Hoover expert historian,
diverge, asper corroborating the necessity
to usher in the Cold War, yet majority foreign

policy wonks might grudgingly attest that
said thirty first commander in chief did maintain
a Cool Edge throughout onset when doomsday
clock began countdown to Armageddon,

an unimaginably blaring, deafening, earsplitting...
cacophony distant rumbles heard, nonetheless,
no Hard dinning ghoulish nightmare (potentially
obliterating all life on planet Earth) haunted

Wilson, nor Taft, only gunboat diplomacy
mere child's play exhorted, less catastrophic
comparison, when Teddy Roosevelt wielded
"big stick schtick" namesake corollary to the
Monroe Doctrine in 1904...ad nauseum.
