Lifes Journey

You know its so short lived but do we not think or realise
Who gives it a second thought, it's gone before your eyes
It sounds cynical your born, you live, you die, end of story
One frowns but guess it's part of the cycle of life’s journey

Though I would still question what about the in-between
What’s ones intension we ask our self’s what dose it mean
You know I was once told that time, it will wait for no man
Go with the flow, whinge and whine, or do the best you can

With obstacles to tackle, herldes to jump ,bridges to cross
At times there’s miracles, theirs hope and too, love and loss
What a drag, if not enjoyed, it's endured, where is the rapture
A zigzag, getting annoyed or bored, moments we try to capture

There's no straight path in this life, it's like one side or the other
Makes you laugh or cry at times it's rife , so much too discover
But gone so fast, like your picture taken then faded into obscurity
A touch of a button, a flash, I guess it's just apart of life's journey

Searching For Something

Truthfully, I'm searching for something.

I dont know what it is but I'm looking for it.
In fact admitting it makes me feel unfit,
but I know I'm not the only soul in the venterous pit.

Its one I've come to question, looking for a simple suggestion, but external influence only seems to bring on negligence..
one that makes me feel sick of it and want to quit..

But I wont. Because I know its there
That thing im searching for in which I care.
A simple goal, at times it takes it toll, but not giving up on it seems to be my role.

I will find you, thing I'm looking for.
As each passing day advances,
probably passing by many chances, but I make my slow advances and with each one my life enhances.

I will find you one day

Wants and Needs

Wanting, to be noticed at a glance!
Needing, to feel like you actually exist
Wanting, to be charmed in romance
Needing, at times a cuddle and a kiss
Wanting, at least one day that’s sunny
Needing, every single night and day
Wanting, someone to call your honey
Needing, at times that I'd better not say
Wanting, what you can't always have
Needing, at times to feel some love
Wanting, everything to be just fab
Needing, perhaps just all of the above
Wanting, is it just part of the excess
Needing, is that not just human instinct
Wanting, oh please oh yes oh yes
Needing, wanting! are they interlinked?

NOTE I DID ORIGINALLY PUT THIS ON HERE BUT IN COMPLETLY DIFFRENT FORM
I HAVE PUT OTHERS ON HERE IN THIS FORM BUT WITH THIS WANTED TO HAVE BOTH INTERTWIN
AS I THINK AT TIMES GO HAND IN HAND?, JUST TRYING TO SEPERATE THE TWO I THINK
THATS THE HEAD DOA.........................................................

Page Thirty Two

I dont know the future and I can't make promises
But honest is what I'll always be and what I feel
Has to be real because when I see them I say to myself
Its all vanity, the reason why I'm yours
Is because the women in the past couldn't handle me
And truth is I probably wasn't ready them
But in this season I'm need of a woman
Who I can follow and lead me
And you're looking like a leader
I'm so eager but also so meek
To see what the future holds for you and me
Many are deceived, even more deceitful
Lust in the spirit has to be by far the most
Powerful gravitational pull but by his grace
I pray this is my last first date
A crucifixion tupe of love is what I wanna taste
Its what I hope to savor
But its always easier said then done
And if I go back in any of this I'm labeled as a hypocritie
The way to my heart is encrypted in the Scriptures
So only when ye seek him first is when you'll
Be able to led by the spirit to love me free from
This temporal prism

Worlds Apart

Now we're worlds apart, I've never felt so misplaced
I don't know where to start, the days I find hard to face
Now I'm wondering what to do?, it's like I no longer exist
Trying to find a way through, I just can't help but reminisce

And I ask why it is she had to leave what exactly went wrong?
Without her I find it hard to breathe, the days they seem so long
The chances of us getting back? now probably a million to one
Any advances on a panic attack, but it's so hard now she's gone

If ever I'm walking down the street, and which ever way I turn
I keep hoping we will once again meet, as for her I still yearn
So many opportunities for questions I could have then asked
And now she’s just another faded out picture from the past

Now she is just someone that I once knew but still I really miss
I can't help but feel so blue, thinking of times that we had, bliss!
I'll cut to the chase, she was someone who touched my heart
Still I think of us in that time and space, though we're worlds apart

written 1998 some lines originally (1996)

Sail

a couple of years have past since it began...
another poem to send an amen
this one...full of regret and confusion..
when it all began she was part of the story
but i blocked her from it. she left me in a wake of mourning
the day it happened i always wondered why it began with the whole.
romeo and juliet conclusion...and yin yang symbol.
took 2 whole years to figure out why. 2!
if it wasnt for that angel i would have never remembered her...
it was to painful.
my eyes fill with tears every time i think about it.
she didnt believe i existed......
a spear to the heart. but we had that conversation before i even released my ..destiny i guess.
but im on my way. Another try and Hope.
Tay....i dont know everything but my Hope is that youl see me as i Am...
the White to your Black just as you are my black to my White.
a burden il carry. and with its weight i might be buried.
but i wont give up on something i cant see....but what i feel
and i need you to know...just how real
i pray and wheep as i kneel
something beacons me
and so shall i sail.

Why I Dont Know As Not 4 Second Do I Believe I Am Running This Show

At or behalf of my behest

But not for a 1 single second

Do I ever start or begin to believe

I am in charge or running this show

I say or wish to impart these things

That I lived through or happened

Or occurred to me here on this today

I share without honestly a glimmer of hope

Should I shouldn't I

If I truly knew the answer to that

Surely then i wouldn't question why

All as I like as you

Do and follow the signs of our intuition

That we believe and think

Will do us and lead us into no harm

The final outcome or destination

On the other hand

Is no more in but out out of our hands

And no amount of planning

Over or calculated thinking

In the end will change the outcome

As it is no more up to you

As it is up to me

What will surely and is about bound to happen

Everything and everything in regards

To this so called life

Personally I think is going to happen

Whether or not we like it or not

All we are left with in the end

Is hoping it happens to someone else

If it is bad

And hoping it happens to us

If it is good

On Suicide's Watch

A new poem to complete
An empty space bleeds
A beautiful, sunshine glory we need

His young life is unfinished,
Dont let him feel like its diminished,
Watch him from the corner of your eye as he cries,
He looks fine but hiding in his mind,
Ask him how life is currently today?
Make sure he is not willing to disappear away,
Sometimes you dont know that you're lost,
So think brighter and leave alone the past,

Life is ok Mr it affects us all, boytjie its ok to be stonewalled,
There's no Jesus or Mother Mary and Jesus Christ the son,
Heaven's silence is so quite that I am even stunned numb,
But angels willing to help you from darkness to some sun or to someone,
i can guarantee you that if I make you smile now,
That all your worries and sorrows arent so big of a wow,

I'm here to help you,
And make sure life is not blue,
Dont give up and dont give in,
Suicide is a bad idea and it shouldn't win,
Believe you can, can and can,
Push through like you can, can and man.
I care, we all care, someone cares about you,
Be brave and not sad and accept you,
You're an untold story,
A beautiful sunshine glory.

Wrong Way

slipping further,
falling in,
waiting forever,
for my life to end.
watching everyones face,
determining my fate,
how much longer,
will it take?
two days?
seven years?
whatever the amount,
it wont match the number of tears
falling victim,
to what they say
dont know what to do
but go their way
trusting those
who will ultimately lie
forgetting those
always by your side
knowing now
as you sit alone
the direction you were following
was the wrong way to go
dont bother to fight it
your already there
dont bother to lie
the truth is aware
dont bother to give up
its already gone
dont bother to lose
its already lost
you can create a new future
but cant erase the past
looks like living for the moment
didnt seem to last
whatever your feeling now
is the best way to feel
because whatever the feeling is
the feeling is real

Darkness

Darkness,
Is it scary or are you blind?
Does it feel up your soul and give in
or try to fight it?

Dusk,
Is it rare to you or not?
Do you love it or hate it?
Does it feel good to be alone or
is it better being around people?

Twilight,
Is it cold or warm?
Does it welcome you or
are you avoiding it?

Maybe you dont know the answers,
but I do.
It isn't scary and I'm not blind,
I let it feel my soul and give in to it,
Its rare to me and I love it,
and Its better being alone than being
around people.

Its extremely warm
and It welcomes me.

People don't understand darkness
because they are afraid,
but most people welcome it,
So would you join it?
