Daffodil-lit in the moon's tone,
a soft embrace,
a flocking companion in a dim evening.
Rear view of the stage show:
Shiva's Sati, burning in perfection,
wild at its peak, soft at its core;
a loss that shatters the hope in loneliness.
A curse beyond its cure,
no magic stick, no angel love;
brilliant light, blue shadow,
a lonely mansion within reflection.
A mechanical bloom bleeds to break,
shatters to grow up.
Timid expansions over its cold hold;
a firefly's guidance to heavenly intimacy.
What a gain—to become a memory-knowing well.
Departed in a moment,
shattered deeply;
manifested determination to exit.
Maybe it wasn't an illumination
that went blind.
A pure exchange of my tunes for your flames.
Miss you now,but you waned out forever.
Dim this Earth, shade its curvature of light,
Stay its skyward thrust of fluorescent gold,
Usurping galaxies’ nocturnal right.
From shore to sequined shore which sparks enfold,
And avenues where man-made novas blaze,
Veil lands that are in seas of glimmers clothed.
Tar the night canvas for those tireless rays,
That all across the cosmic time zones fly,
To catch their breath above our stranded race.
Invite these distant fires to crust the sky,
And sprinkle their embers on shadowed turf,
Where lovers vow or tell a breathless lie.
Part neon clouds above our lonely berth,
To let our eyes with constellations brim,
So wonder may soar despite wonders’ dearth,
And air may glow with a forgotten hymn,
For an evening when this wide Earth is dimmed.
"When love fades into the depth of night, stars lose the glimmer of their light."
Poet's quote.
A star riddled sky recurs in beautiful dreams
We danced and whispered tender words of love
Only Orion overheard
Oh, starry, starry night
how wistful I am when I gaze upon you now
my heart yearning for him and for my loss
Weeping in restless sleep; upon my bed I toss
wishing on a distant star that somehow
within my dreams I could take flight
with wings of a songbird
then I would croon lyrics of mourning, like a dove
amid the gleam of starlight and moonbeams
But dreams become tattered, ripped open at the seams
No longer do I wish on stars above
My heart refuses to be stirred
by romance and moonlight
for it remembers a love and the whispered vow
Stars have dulled and dimmed; faded is their gloss

No matter what the world may bring
No matter how the winds may sting
There is a light that burns within
A flame that never will rescind
It shines so bright, it fills the air
A beacon to guide those in despair
It sparkles like a diamond in the night
A luminescence, oh so bright
It cannot be dimmed by fear or pain
It cannot be snuffed by doubts or shame
For it's a part of who we are
A radiant beauty, like a star
It's there for us when we're afraid
To light a path when we've lost our way
It's always present, always true
A reminder that we are too
So don't let the darkness cloud your view
Don't let the storms persuade you
For nothing can dim the light that's inside
It will always, always, always abide.
By The Lady’s Dim Light
The Lady’s blazing torch held high and message at her feet,
Clear message to the world, tyranny’s ultimate defeat.
Ascent to breathe the fresh air of liberty’s atmosphere,
Free every day, speak own mind, go anywhere, void of fear.
Peoples of all nations and races, with aspirations all,
From lands near and far in answer to freedoms call.
Persecution’s iron fist powerless toward all who yearn
To come; tired, poor, wretched refuse; no one is spurned.
High ideal that should work with fairness and justice for all.
Not when matters get entangled in politicians’ halls.
It’s not what you know but who you know that catches the ear.
Some get in very fast, while many wait year after year.
The Lady’s Lamp is supposed to be the beam to the world,
America’s message of help, hope and home eagerly heard.
But if the world’s disenfranchised are treated as blight,
The masses will huddle and wait in the Lady’s dim light.
Days were the sunshine of life
The days embraced your vision.
A melodious yellow canary
Hopping upon my window sill.
You were the sleepy Winter that safely
Wrapped a swaddle blanket over my nature
Capturing the magic.
You were the Autumn brush stokes that entwined
The golden rod and pumpkin in the crisp leaves.
The chocolate and blush on the trees,
The chartreuse and peacock in the grass.
You were the paper kite butterfly that sip
The nectar of Spring crimson callistemon.
Like a rainstorm with gusty winds,
You blew away slicing my lace heart
Piercing with your harshness Arctic breath.
Cold frosty mornings around my window sill,
When each time I exhale a dim veil breath,
It disappears into the chilled air
Of the muted visions you embraced.

In the dim-lit corners of forgotten bars,
Where smoke dances with fallen stars,
I nurse my whiskey, neat and strong,
Lost in a world gone wrong.
The jukebox hums a melancholy tune,
As I drown my sorrows, glass by glass, noon to noon.
The neon lights flicker, casting shadows on my face,
A weary poet, seeking solace in this desolate space.
The air is thick with tales of broken dreams,
As I sip my whiskey, drowning in their streams.
But amidst the darkness, I find a spark,
A glimmer of hope in this melancholic arc.
For in these dim-lit corners, where silence speaks,
The truth of the human spirit silently leaks.
I pen my verses, like whispers in the night,
Finding solace in words that ignite.
In this forgotten bar, where time stands still,
I weave my tales, with a poet's skill.
With each line, I find my voice anew,
Creating a world that is wholly true.
In the dim-lit corners, I am not alone,
For the forgotten souls find solace in this zone.
We come together, broken and scarred,
In this sanctuary, where our stories are marred.
In the haze of whiskey and fallen stars,
We find solace, healing our invisible scars.
In this dim-lit haven, we cannot be wrong,
For poetry is where we truly belong.
~~
Oh sweet the forest path where I always meet tranquility,
Thoughts of peace that mingle with the sky above me;
A king has created a forest circle, a ring so calm,
An earthly realm, so heavenly and full of divinity and sanctity.
I draw out my muse and ponder in awe my life,
A princess born my parents tell me, now ageless is my spirit;
Roses red stab my fingers and I have bled into the earth,
And we the children of the world are free to find a path.
With him, the king and with prayers, soft, dim and whispered.

1. Jesus’ birth, life and death is not stardust;
He rose back to life bringing hope and trust.
Following Him brings peace as we repent
from our sins to find joy and contentment.
Searching God’s Word reaps salvation's result,
and makes praying to Him not difficult.
God never slumbers, He’s ever awake
He’s list’ning always, at night, at daybreak.
CHORUS: Sing to the Lord, He does glorious things;
Sing praises, He will attune our heartstrings.
2. What will be, will be, praise God, Almighty,
He redeemed us, with His will we agree.
When the darkness dims within the dark sky
we gaze at the Light and watch the sparks fly.
As His bless-ed Light shines bright and steadfast
the darkness of Satan just will not last.
God’s with us, do not fear what man can do;
never doubt that Jesus will see us through.
CHORUS: Sing to the Lord, He does glorious things;
Sing praises, He will attune our heartstrings.
