When Darkness Starts To Dim
1. Jesus’ birth, life and death is not stardust;
He rose back to life bringing hope and trust.
Following Him brings peace as we repent
from our sins to find joy and contentment.
Searching God’s Word reaps salvation's result,
and makes praying to Him not difficult.
God never slumbers, He’s ever awake
He’s list’ning always, at night, at daybreak.
CHORUS: Sing to the Lord, He does glorious things;
Sing praises, He will attune our heartstrings.
2. What will be, will be, praise God, Almighty,
He redeemed us, with His will we agree.
When the darkness dims within the dark sky
we gaze at the Light and watch the sparks fly.
As His bless-ed Light shines bright and steadfast
the darkness of Satan just will not last.
God’s with us, do not fear what man can do;
never doubt that Jesus will see us through.
CHORUS: Sing to the Lord, He does glorious things;
Sing praises, He will attune our heartstrings.
