Behind a Curtain Somewhere

I am a master in my eyes, a master in disguise. So cleverly concealing pertinent feelings of thoughts, one's intrusive dealings, that are boiling my insides. A wizard behind a curtain, that’s how this all feels. A brick road made of corpses, with one's past life’s dealings preserved, paved and sealed. A heart, a brain, and courage are the lesser of my wants. Something I truly desire is to be free from all the standards that are expected of me. To simply have the ability to understand the world as a whole, instead of society’s pressure and expectancy of things that shine organically. I know Diamonds are produced under mass pressure brought on by their surroundings. I refuse to walk with people who claim to have hearts, when their actions show other, and their minds think in one-digit parts. I sometimes wish I could just click my heels together and poof, new start. Just trek on, over stones along my path. I can’t help but wonder, if someone is pressing buttons and pulling strings behind a curtain and all that, yeah it sounds crazy when you say that out loud. Sometimes I feel that it is that, for certain.. somehow. All these Pictures of my life and the stories that they tell, have now become tortuous memory prisons, tiny painful cells. So, I won't hope for more memories, no new energy, no thank you. In fact, I'd like it if there was a wizard behind a curtain somewhere. It is almost comforting to know for certain somebody is pulling strings, removing human beings from the remaining veil-covered living we are dieing to exist. Yet still, our existence we squander. Aimlessly following a road shamelessly, no self-awareness, just people playing contrary-to-action, games with questioning. I don’t want your heart that is made of stone, or your brain which is composed of birds nesting sticks and air alone, and what you consider courage is like a rat in a tiger’s home, fear coats him and only fear alone. I am not mad at what character past plays that you've been casted, because honestly your past warped acting and idea of what is, has made the brickroad a path truth seekers take comfort in. A road to somewhere, no one really knows. A journey to a curtain way past the light, covering a being who says what goes, what is certain, and what is right.

Premium Member I Loved You

I Loved You.

I appreciate your poetic talent absolute, no doubt.
But basically I was attracted pursuing
your thoughts, ideas, outlooks, philosophy of life
and realisation that resemble so much with those of mine.
In course of time I got influenced ,
       inspired and whelmed.

Initial appreciation gradually turned to admiration.
Going through your poems, it seemed
that exactly seeds of same poem were sown in my mind
but couldn't be sprouted owing to lack
of my capability to express in proper syllables.
Those emotions confined in my mind could not escape !
But through your poems my imaginations took shape.

Day by day my admiration inflated
        getting absorbed in your perception
and my admiration was adorned with lavendar love.
        Poet turned my beloved.
Serene pristine dreamy desires of mine
embower sparkling gems of your poems.

I would still love you, even if you had not been a poet,
as I succeeded to hunt immense treasures of your mind
         to make myself embellished.
I had seen my mirror image in your feelings.
         beyond any earthly dealings.
        So, offering blessings.

melancholy bleeds tears of darkness, hues
wistful, lonely weeping silently, night
blazing with the grim, a shroud to confuse

withdrawn into the aching, grieving write
poetry and prose bleeding bleakest doubt
wistful, lonely weeping silently, night

even dreams so beautiful can burn out
the muse, once light, grows heavier, gloomy
poetry and prose bleeding bleakest doubt

all hope gone, depression shifts all through me
darkening my heart, my soul, with feelings
the muse, once light, grows heavier, gloomy

dread fills the heart with the bleakest dealings
will there never be the chance to find grace?
darkening my heart, my soul, with feelings

fears, sorrows surround me with their embrace
melancholy bleeds tears of darkness, hues
will there never be the chance to find grace?
blazing with the grim, a shroud to confuse

Premium Member The Gift To God, I Gave To Give -

To myself to I, to God I asked
what nature of sample shall I give,

the tribute must be something, already possessed
and not a thing to be acquired or easily accessed,
what type of treasure, what placid pleasure,
what measure of scintillating success should be expressed,

many feelings, dealings, winnings and blessings I have
like the menificent merchant of an ageless & melancholy market,
however I am disinterested in the buying & selling of impressive items,
something of my core should be present, priceless, respirative,

multitudes give Deity thick thanks in pompous prayers
or grim graveling of worship,
others offer animal immolation or coin from shallow pocket,

as does everyone I experience the panic of pain,
that terrible teacher of no remorse whose curriculum
makes carion of cowards,
but as a student of Life and thus a pupil of pain
I realised that my mind can be a calm cistern,
my heart a coffer of adversity's copious rewards,

the determination is made,
my proudest possession, enlightenment derived from pain,
enchanting and admonishing like the howls of hungry beasts,
a gift of character, a jewel of dreams manifest,
God accepted and said,
" Someone, somewhere, somehow is suffering to better feats" -

Into the Ocean Soup

With tiny timid staggering steps I traverse,
Through a gate amid howling ocean of readings,
A whirly wind ringing rhymes of diverse,
Helps the ocean waves bringing tome of meanings.

Woven are these pages in poetic verse,
With bare threads of our deepest feelings,
You will find laughter, tears and remorse
and words of wisdom, prayer and healings.

With throbbing heart, through the book in gaited horse,
Wandered, wondering mastery of poetic ceilings,
Burning my passion, poesy angels appeared in disperse,
Offering tortie trinkets and helping hands in my dealings.

Happy 35th

How crazy is it
that our moments are
only separated by seconds
The world is so vast
And us
Just tiny specs in it
That time deems as it's
Temporary possessions
What more can we expect
From this uncertain vitality
In any given present second
We're gifted
With full intent
Deemed good enough to receive
This life
This circulating breath
This life and all of its undeniable
Treasures that we get
That
Some invisible majestic being
Bestowed onto us
And yet
As full and loud as the universe gets
I still feel empty
Alone and immensely
Vulnerable like
My 11 year old kid did
When dad left
Lonely, and afraid
But now I can say
I am aware today
Nearly 35
Kinda angry, sometimes
A little pissed I'm alive
Older than my big sister is
Since she died
So many dealings
Of unhealed feelings
But the one that is constantly reappearing
Is the feeling
I don't deserve to live past the hours
That should have been hers
My time wasn't set up for her to die
And me to keep growing old
Without her by my side
35
I kinda hate that you are here
Just feels like you are rubbing it in my face
That I am now the oldest one from the brood
Living today
Don't tell me I should be grateful
I have breath and flesh to celebrate
another earthly year
It's crazy
How huge moments are separated
By only seconds
To think we are all just
Tiny dots in this universe
Then we just disappear
Here
Where hours turn to days
And days to years
I'll grow old
With just a million moments
of your memory here
That
You left in a moment
On a day
Of a year
One I can never delete or clear
7 days short of your 35th year
I didn't look forward to this day
When I knew it would be here
I actually remember thinking
Great, 35
That's going to be a tough year.

I’m OK

My life changed
My world changed
My soul gained a new insight
I found within me a new man
I have reached a new haven
Now within me lies my god.

Now I am free,
with the black Excalibur
I have severed all old ties,
I have no dealings with my past woes
I have forgotten my past love
I stowed away those soulful melodies
reminding me of the days of yore,
I have no creed, no religion,
My past transgressions forgotten
from where only anger,
pain and heartache beckon.

I have a new dream
I have a new way of thinking
A new way of doing things
I tread a new path
aspiring for a new destination
where yesterday is forgotten
where tomorrow holds new promises,

My destiny lies ahead…
Oh! anxious voices from the past
do not beckon me,
I’m OK
Pray, do not summon me back.

Pursuit of our Happiness

We all deserve Love and Light, Joy and Happiness. But that doesn't mean we can hurt others along the way. Let's try to show Empathy and Compassion, Dignity and Respect in our dealings with others.

Pursuit of our Happiness
By Michelle Morris
14/02/2025

You and I talk
But I don't think we communicate
We use words and tones and facial expressions
But somehow it gets lost in translation

It's so easy to talk of world peace
And yet here we are being anything but
You're determined to pursue your ways
And I guess I'm tired of being stuck

Around and around we go each time
Around and around again
You see you think somehow we're fine
You even consider us as friends

I concede they we have moments
Where the path is not filled with rocks and thorns
Where the waves don't decimate the shore
And the horizon isn't too daunting

But that's because I keep bending
Keep making allowances and forgiving
I focus on the potential I see in you
And stupidly forget my Light is dimming

Because when you're on different frequencies
When your energy is unaligned
There's bound to be friction
The Universe wants to move Space and Time

I'm not meant to stay here
Here in the Darkness with you
I was only meant to be a mirror for your Soul
Reflect the deepest, honest Truth

Ultimately I accept it now
That I cannot save you from yourself
And I completely accept that
I'm going to Heaven and you're going to Hell

As much as I feel I've failed you
I know that you've had every chance
My mission here is complete now
It's time for me to leave this Dance

It's been a lot of challenging lessons
But it is always good to know
Exactly what you don't want sometimes
So that your future can be rosy

To be flexible and open-minded
Can only get us so far
Sometimes we have to see the ugly Truth
That not all Souls have the same Path

And that's okay because we're unique
We're here to (hopefully) learn and grow
Sometimes we have to walk away
And let Heaven and Hell do their sowing

We all deserve Love and Light
We all deserve Dignity and Respect
Let's try to be Patient and Kind to all
In the pursuit of our Happiness

The Loop of Suffering

The Loop Of Suffering

It hurts bad, you can't see
sweet suffering glazed with glee
I hoped and waited I was mad
You can't see, it hurts bad.

But who am I to blame you
I was the one to long, to pursue,
You didn't utter anything to lie
To blame you, but, who am I.

This love of mine I can't ever express
and in my own hopes I become depressed
Even God never gave a sign
I can't express this love of mine.

Animals we are, can't change anything
but we do feel everything
Like a withered stuck black flower
Can't change anything, animals we are.

Kill me with that indifference
How can I be a subject of remembrance
But of ignorance indeed.
With that indifference kill me.

My thoughts and feelings nothing can inhibit
So strong, so mad. To you is the credit.
You are so desirable in all your dealings
Nothing can inhibit my thoughts and feelings.

Calling of Home

Focusing on my self; no other
filtered out all negative feelings
cut ties with deceptive dealings
home is calling so don't bother

Feeling things that make no sense
a little of revenge, guilt, anger, fuss
a lot of love, faith, truth, and trust
Thinking of things conjuring defense

Eliminate thoughts of all others
took for granted with misjudgment
challenging my truth with argument
now stuck in shame that smothers

No allies in this deceptive outer world
most live for bribes lies no alibis
all I truly hear is loud curdling cries
devastated by the truth, only can hurl

Let this be a lesson to trust only self
trust your own feeling and knowing
forgiveness and healing for growing
always room to help improve oneself

Not understanding my role in your life
no longer needed spoken or explained
hate jealousy greed no longer retained
dismantling what The Divine calls strife

Completes my assignments with grace
highs lows many death and rebirth
bring back LOVE to beautiful Earth
LOVE is home there's no other place
