Cheating Heart

A broken heart, ripped apart
All it took was a cheating heart

Hide this broken heart
It never wants to love again
Hide this broken heart
It never wants to hurt again

Lost the love and respect
A cheating heart what did you expect?

Never learned to love
With a lying man's heart
Never learned to love
With a cheating man's heart

Why can't this heart be strong?
Why must this heart lead me wrong?

Can't trust this heart
Since it learned to cry
Can't trust this heart
So I don't have to cry

Broken heart, do not grieve
Broken heart, it's time to leave

Your cheating heart
Love doesn't need
Your cheating heart
I don't need

Those lying eyes, yes I knew them so well
I found out you’d had another affair
Your deception made life a living hell
On your jacket I’d found her long blonde hair

I found out you’d had another affair
Our wedding vows, they meant nothing to you
On your jacket I’d found her long blonde hair
No more chances, because this time we’re through

Our wedding vows, they meant nothing to you
I bid adieu to your cold cheating heart
No more chances, because this time we’re through
I’ve packed my bags, as I need a fresh start

I bid adieu to your cold cheating heart
Your deception made life a living hell
I’ve packed my bags, as I need a fresh start
Those lying eyes, yes I knew them so well

Whisper

The whisper of the eternal God tiptoes in sighs
Breathing inspiration to the artist and the pen,
Murmurs consolation to grieving eyes,
Shivers in the tamed typhoon of shame to the cheating heart,
Quietly touches a fearful hand in the breath of silence,
Awakening praises of devotion in new antiphons,
Caresses moments of illumination,
Embraces weakness with the sweet fragrance of grace,
Leaves the shadow of a smile in moments of a-ha,
Exhales breathless anticipation like the haunting flute,
Floats with yearning to share secrets in the sanctuary of creation,
Soft brush in wispy silhouettes for shadows of questions,
Fluttering perpetual vow - abiding in tender vows -
No cold mistral disturbs the flow of prayers and pleas,
Ever restless seeks the soul’s attention in an airy gossamer kiss,
Ever present guardian,
Everlasting whisper of the eternal.

Inspired by Whisper to Me - not entered.

I Am With You Reba

One more night - I've heard it's true
I need to hear it right straight from you
People talk - you told me with your eyes
But I need to hear it - is it over?
Your cheating heart- I heard it from another
You claim too, there is no other
Whispers - the gossip - spread the news
And I wonder when you're not around
Dusk to dawn - I wonder then who?
Musta be her - you're spending time with
My love - I longed so to truly give
My heart it sure is feeling bruised
Love has gone cold - You I longed to hold
Now I see in the daylight your face
Guilty conscience on your mind
My feelings you try not to find
Still I need to hear it straight from you
It's over - I don't really care who
Looking back over the years - you tried
Never to keep my love - the heart doesn't lie
Your foolish disguise long after the night
You're with someone else - Aren't you tonight?
You know it's your call - It's her
What's your alibi? And how am I inside
Musta been this - a true heartache
Musta be that - my foolish pride
All my life - I've heard that same ole story
Musta be love I'm dreaming of
Sure is your cheating heart and the heart doesn't lie
It's your call - bewildered never of why
She's on the phone, I'm here too
Your cheating heart is reflecting onto you.

What's a Woman To Do

She could smell the scent of the other woman on him. A sickening musty, sweet smell.

She wanted to lunge at him and snatch out his cheating heart.

She wanted to scratch out his light brown roaming eyes.

She wanted to castrate him and put his member in a box and let it rot.

She wanted to chop off his hands that fumble over that hussy's
 body.

She wanted to saw off both of his feet that carried him to the place where they meet.

She wanted to put a hot iron to his luscious thick black lips.

Instead, she excepted his offensive lies.

She urges him to lie next to her.

She kissed his light brown eyes that looked at her longingly for

       forgiveness.

She kissed his warm luscious thick lips.

     She anxiously welcomed his caresses.

She could feel his throbbing manhood nudge at her feverish body.

     She was in flight.

Premium Member Every Night Is Halloween

Every night is Halloween
When ghastly ghost hovers near
I toss and turn in my dream
For I know the fiend I fear

Goblins and ghouls have no chance
I scare them all back to hell
Yet, one thing is viler still
I know its evil full well

Every night I shut the door
I shake while I lay in bed
For soon the door is ajar
A form hovers by my head

A eerie glow fills the room
Familiar breath on my face
Fingers slide over my lips
Unseen hands my body trace

Every night your ghost appears
You, who to my heart are DEAD
You come not as fearsome ghoul
But as angel to my bed

Your lies now you whisper sweet
“I am moved by love not lust!”
Yet I feel your groping hands
Stroking away broken trust

My bed is aflame with heat
You tricked, now you want a treat
I know your wishes full well
To bring to life passion sweet

I tremble in morbid fear
For you have come to possess
I buried your cheating heart
But ghost fingers now caress

You linger over my form
Your presence so very real
The night moves in ghostly charm
Every touch and kiss I feel

Morning light breaks through the night
I awake alone and bare
Halloween, my every night
Your scent lingers in the air.

Cyber Cheater

Cyber Cheater

You are my cheating heart.
Passing me by from the start.

I feel desolate and broken in two.
Scarred for life, my heart hangs askew…

What have I done for you to leave?
I thought you loved me I wanted to believe..

I drift into hopelessness, feeling empty inside.
I take on my life in a dismal stride…

Longing, seeking; where do I stand?
Wondering and walking in the mind’s wasteland.

Do you still want me or that someone other?
The one that steals love, that one the shyster?

My heart was owned once upon a history..
Completely, absolute, in sublime stupidity.

The Last Impression

Although I take the punishment, you made it come to this
It's all your fault I took the knife and plunged it in your chest
The final, heated moment before you met your demise
Tainted with your love for her, humility and lies
You think that I am happy now? Is that what you believe?
Apart from feeling numb, I'm clutching nothing but relief
Comforted that my arms were the last ones your hands touched
I never could keep hold of you, I never was enough
I knew this time was different, I could see it in your face
Your cheeks had lost their pallor, eyes as wide as space
And this time, I had lost you, I knew I'd never win
That's why I had to carve your heart from underneath your skin
I couldn't find another way to make a last impression
and make sure that your cheating heart was kept in my possession
Then as your just-dead body bleeds, sprawled out on the stone
Peace and solice seep in, for at last, you sleep alone

Have I Ever Told You That

Have I ever told you that
… as you lie next to me
I know that you are cheating
…I have seen both you and she

I heard you talking on your phone
You’d no idea that I was home

    darling this
         and
             darling that

Your soup my dear ~ in that I spat
It made me sick it made me sad
But watching as you sipped your soup
you smiled at me and said “Not bad”
you even asked if there was more

I smirked behind that kitchen door
I wished I’d put that cockroach in
to give your lunch that extra crunch

Together forever both you and me
Your cheating heart I could not foresee
I thought our love was strong and deep
Till death us do part our vows we would keep

Though you had other plans it seems
You called her name out in your dreams
Did you know I loved you so
and will not be the one to go

So as you eat up every morsel
     so flavoursome and
        so unique

A pinch of this ~ A pinch of that
Braised in wine ~ slow cooked with herbs
      A Rat’tat’touile for a cheating rat

have I ever told you that…

This poem is totally fictional but my muse was certainly running naked through those bullrushes, haha…
