One more night - I've heard it's true
I need to hear it right straight from you
People talk - you told me with your eyes
But I need to hear it - is it over?
Your cheating heart- I heard it from another
You claim too, there is no other
Whispers - the gossip - spread the news
And I wonder when you're not around
Dusk to dawn - I wonder then who?
Musta be her - you're spending time with
My love - I longed so to truly give
My heart it sure is feeling bruised
Love has gone cold - You I longed to hold
Now I see in the daylight your face
Guilty conscience on your mind
My feelings you try not to find
Still I need to hear it straight from you
It's over - I don't really care who
Looking back over the years - you tried
Never to keep my love - the heart doesn't lie
Your foolish disguise long after the night
You're with someone else - Aren't you tonight?
You know it's your call - It's her
What's your alibi? And how am I inside
Musta been this - a true heartache
Musta be that - my foolish pride
All my life - I've heard that same ole story
Musta be love I'm dreaming of
Sure is your cheating heart and the heart doesn't lie
It's your call - bewildered never of why
She's on the phone, I'm here too
Your cheating heart is reflecting onto you.
