A Film On the Water

Sir Rule, Ian Ballew and Ock, a marine
set off on a houseboat to study
the difference between greenish-blue and bluish-green.

The deep blue sky on that fog-foggiest of days
they mistakenly thought was the sea
which explains why to us, when they saw a green haze -

Ian whooped, "It's a film on the water!" And so...
Sir Rule smirked, "Ock, go get us some popcorn and Pepsi."
Ock started to cuss, "---, why do I always have to go?

Since blue means profane and if naive spells out green,
Who wins the Oscar? It's not hard to see -
greenish-blue, naively-profane - Ock, a marine.
or if you prefer:
bluish-green, profanely-naive - still Ock, a marine.

Author's Notes: The names in this piece are puns for the colors, cerulean blue and aquamarine. No reflection on the hard working Marines who serve our country so well.

             Opulent water of ocean
            Wonderful wide sea extension
           deserving deep veneration.

          Glistening in light bluish green
           Luster in Aqua Marine.
           Splendid soft foam seeming serene.

           Turbulent waves thrashing on shore
           throwing clams and snails in galore.
          Unknown vast zone how to explore?

          Holding immense treasure careless.
          Carrying crazy creatures countless.
         Amazing striking marvels boundless

         On seabed stay mountains ridges
         Any time volcano outrages
        Burst of tsunami avenges.

        Innocent icebergs nice to see
        hiding nine times length under sea
        For vessels stand silent scary.

        Grandiose stunning stupendous
        Zestful dynamic gorgeous
         Exquisite vibrant glorious.

        Ingenious inspiration
        My tribute to sublime ocean
        My homage and acclamation.

Premium Member Hold Me In Your Arms

Take me where our love once was
In our garden, on leisurely walks
Flying mountains where birds flock
Holding hands in a heavenly talk.

Spinning rhythm around the clock
Rowing our love boat by the dock
Spellbound by your godly charms
Hold me forever in adoring arms.

Travel with me to world unseen
Where glaciers rise bluish green
To Top of Europe in Interlaken
A scenic climb closer to heaven.

Drive me around the Ring of Kerry
Ireland's famous circle of scenery
Let's renew vows in joy and glory
To celebrate wedding anniversary.

Embrace me under arc of rainbow
Hold me softly as moonlight glows
Kiss me like you have never before
Let hearts sing a melodious encore.

Stage a show love would espouse
Take me to Sydney Opera House
Write the lyrics to our life song
Bind our souls in joyous sing along.

Grab me closely in a willful pause
Hear the call of romantic applause
Let desire lure our love so strong
Allow me to gently fall in your arms.

Premium Member You'Re My Better Half

Freedom's finally mine, at the threshold
of the forest where trees turned bluish-green,
to a sea of grass that men does withhold.
Summer country comfort my absence been.

Of the forest where trees turned bluish-green,
from one end of the vale to another
summer country comfort my absence been.
But for the grace of God blessed I wonder.

From one end of the vale to another
walking in the country the days go by,
but for the grace of God blessed I wonder
still I think of you, only you, pure sky.

Walking in the country the days go by,
who wouldn't wanna be me to look on thee,
still I think of you, only you, pure sky.
These are the days that God's been good to me.

Who wouldn't wanna be me to look on thee,
you can't hide beautiful, what about me.
These are the days that God's been good to me
you won, you're the only one, eyes best see.

You can't hide beautiful, what about me.
You're not alone tonight, don’t shut me out.
You won; you're the only one, eyes best see.
Some days you gotta dance and whirl about.

You're not alone tonight, don’t shut me out.
You're my better half and only you dove.
Some days you gotta dance and whirl about;
somebody like you, tangled up in love.

You're my better half and only you dove.
Live to love another day, better life
somebody like you, tangled up in love.
Stuck in the middle spellbound as my wife.

Live to love another day, better life
to a sea of grass that men does withhold.
Stuck in the middle spellbound as my wife
freedom's finally mine, at the threshold.

'Twas on a sunny day in May
Along the banks of Fundy Bay
When I met… my dearest Anthony

From a distance…I could see
His rugged frame…and symmetry
And the glint of Irish eyes…of bluish green

With manly strides… he lingered there
Along a path of grasses… where
The sun reflected on… his golden hair

And with a glance… he stole my breath
I could not still… my heaving breast
With every step he took… I nearly died
Overcome with… such profound emotions… that I could not hide
~~~
'Twas in that magic moment… that we fell in love
Blessed by heaven… and the angels up above
And with their keeping…we were married… in the month of June
Underneath a pale misty silken silver moon
~~
We built a house… upon a hill…that overlooked the harbour
With a winding path… to the door… that walked… between the arbour
And there… among the sea salt roses… and the ocean breeze
We lived and loved and raised our family
The years went quickly sailing by
Sometimes we laughed…sometimes we cried
But through it all…we never left…each others side
For…we had that kind of special love… that never dies
A love…that asks the reason why
I stand upon our path and cry
As I look out to the ocean...where you lie
So overcome… with such profound emotion… wishing I could die
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Oh you, who drift between the spinning stars,
who taste the dust of comet trails and drink
the silence of the void—pause on earth awhile.

Behold this sphere, sapphire streaked with gray aberdeen,
this garden hung in blackness, ripe with green.
The trees—oh, trees!—their arms alive with birds
whose throats distill the sunlight into chirping words.
The grass—a green tide that sways in whispering breeze,
the oceans—bluish-green, deep and restless, storms and ease~

And humankind—oh, flawed, fierce, fumbling bright~
we build towers that scrape your starry heels,
yet weep at sunsets, name our dogs Orbit at night,
and bury seeds like celestial appeals.

Do not mistake our wars for the whole story:
See also the baker’s hands dusted with moon,
the child who draws God’s face in divine glory,
and the bridge made of song stretched over a wound.

Yes, we humans are fevered children who build then destroy~
we laugh loud as thunderstorms, weep for both sorrow and joy.
We stitch stories from the patterns hidden in the stars,
and curious, reach, as you do now, for what lies far.

This world is vast yet small, noisy yet shy~
a masterpiece found nowhere else in the celestial sky.
Come closer, stardust kin; breathe the pollen rich air,
let the wind caress your body and muffle your hair.

Stay awhile on this marble of sapphire blue,
a world alive, both strange and true.

Wow This Woman Just Makes My Heart Want To Fly

I met the most amazing woman today
So pretty, such a looker all the way
Everything about her had me reacting
In the most sensual ways
So interesting to talk with
I hope she wants to stay
Her personality just carries my spirit out to play
The longer she stays the more I sway
Wanting her in my life more than in just a sexual way

She peeks my interest with all that she has to convey
Such a sexy lady all dressed in casual denim blue
With the ability to shake my world up
Making it feel shiny and new
So cute with her blond hair and bluish green eyes
With a body that makes my adrenalin fly
Her dad tells me that she is not about the lies
Street smart but still vulnerable enough to cry

Not the kind of woman who talks out of order or asks why
To find a lady who doesn't feel like she has to try
Or one that fits in that isn't terribly shy
Who understands what life requires to get by
As hard as I don't try
I find myself staring deep into her eyes
Wow this woman makes my heart just want to fly

I feel her inner weakness starting to comply
Our worlds inner locked like rockets launched on high
From the moment we said hi
I felt something special about her I could not just let lye
Trying not to overplay my day
Enjoying her natural foreplay dancing in such a display
Drifting away wanting to replay the whole day

She captured my heart from the very start
So beautiful funny and smart
If she was my sweetheart
No one would ever be able to pry our worlds apart
Like a shooting dart with a love potion
She calms my ocean
Putting my lonely soul into full motion
Throwing my towel in so we can begin
To know how it feels when we win

Letting her know just how I feel
Everything about her was the right feel
Not trying to reinvent the wheel
Doing it openly of her own free will
Love her smoking hot body
That just makes me want to squeal

I believe a ride with her to the top of the hill
Would make any man's spirit want to seal a love deal
I can feel her love in my heart
That came to life right from the very start
I can see us never being far apart
Now that I have found the woman who lives in my heart

GREEN SEA : SEA-GREEN

   Luster of Bluish-green sea waves is termed sea- green
        Raman Effect explains perfect special color as ever seen

       Turbulent waves are rolling, roaring with loud sound
        As if thunder bolts are striking down the grey cloud

          Mangroves with brown stems in tropical sea as coastal fence
           cluster around in deep dense bushes yielding wild essence

         Algae, red seaweed are farmed abundant in sea water
         Cook and eat the nutritious food in lunch and dinner

       Touch hard crust of white Ice berg floating on ocean
       Ocean is nothing else but the wide sea-extension
•	       *       *    *

       Wonderful bluish-green luster to glorify on sea glows to glorify,
       but loses intensity in horizon where sea meets the sky
        Sudden sea-storm rushed blowing whistling sound
       Clear sky turned grey with dust particles all around
      Brown algae floating on sea water spread weird smell.
      Swarm of tiny kreels are chased and by large whale
      White sea-foams are bubbling on crest of waves in galore
      With gentle touch they fade away and thrashed on sea shore.

Premium Member Discovering a Little Dog In the Painting of S Dali

A little dog was sleeping
At the bottom of the sea
In the painting of Dali
He was there all the time
But we didn’t see it
Till a touch of divination
Wakens up imagination
And a hand of inspiration
Brushes paint on the surface
Of the canvas and we see
Gentle hand of a little girl
Lifting the edge of the veil
Of the deep dreamy ocean
Slowly revealing the motion
Of cozy sandy landscape
Of the bottom of the sea
And in awe suddenly we see
A spotted dog cozy resting
In the canvas of Dali
He was there all the time
But we saw only plain
Reflection of the sky
On the surface of the water
And the ripples swinging by
We did not see below the screen
Of the mass of bluish green
Body of the ocean
