I keep your beauty in my heart
like a precious jewel...that shines
in a twilight's trembling realm of passion
seen in molten candlelight
whose flame will keep the intimate kiss
with all its contours rendered in a shade of perfection
that falls upon your face and hair
where my eyes are lost
as your beauty welcomes me and my perpetual gaze
where I cross-time
and find the unmeasurable distance between our eyes
they reveal an enduring silence
that binds us to bountiful dreams of majesty
that allows all our senses to transform
in a bond of purity
where all is understood when passion has flowered
in our secret garden of violin strings
and musical interludes we hear within
that play in the well of our heartbeats
and echo through the valley of a rising moon
where we dance in silhouette
beneath a starry sky of goodness and grace
until a universe of velvet dreams pours over us
like morning dew
in an emotional flowing warmth that tingles the skin
and drips upon the earthen ground
to sanctify the sacredness of our souls
that we keep as a beloved bestowal
that's given to those we find worthy of our love
We pledged a portion of our lives training ruling,
When is it thriving to mandate and perform?
What do words feign in the theater of living?
Unlike dance, which is an achievement charm.
I've barely suffered to forbear a lasting mark,
By betraying these futile sensations on paper,
I realize the purity of the most significant task,
My way of life would radically grip to remember.
The business idea made Disney on the up,
The reality of a dream versus advert view,
Undeniably we don't soar but rise each step,
For the view and attain our genuine shaw.
My performance overtakes that of the wise,
I meander from one to the closest, awestruck,
How are you presently, they enquire? A gaze,
"Oh me?" I say gently. I'm doing fine, not stuck.
A mistaken view of such a rare performance,
My rarest bestowal in a decade of struggle,
Oh, how I awed, dumbs that its discordance,
An act of the stage never held a snuggle.
After exerting my skills, I left the spot right,
My faint dwell bears me with joy and calm,
When the sun sets, I gain peace in the night,
Hastily, the veil will fall off, so I won't harm.
Stain not letting, be diverted by anything,
Whatever deeds to hail you, elect varying,
Essay not inciting to be swung by any turmoil,
Any lifestyle drive love, trust, and verity,
Recall that life is too short not to dwell fully.

The Greatest Performance of My Life Poetry Contest
Sponsored by: JCB Brul
I breathe enjoyment from
the senses that God bestowed on me.
With the gift of sight I find joy
taking in scenes of sunset splendor;
catching sight of random rainbows,
the prettiest of which I’ve noted
arching over waves of Iowa grain;
gazing into the adoring eyes of my beloved;
and on happening to glance anything
bright or beautiful to behold.
With the gift of hearing,
I delight in the cries of glee
of my grandchildren
tearing open Christmas presents.
I discover incredible information
listening to videos and
learning from the students I teach,
whose own differing cultures and traditions
enlighten me more about the world.
I glean pleasure from sounds of nature:
the rumble of water gushing down mountain cliffs;
the rippling of rivers and ocean tides;
the call of pretty birds in spring;
the meow of a tiny kitten;
and my mind sways in rhythm
to the music on my radio.
With the gift of voice, I happily sing
the lyrics to my favorite tunes.
With my mouth I also relish my sweetheart’s kiss.
I take pleasure too in savoring spicy foods
that make my taste buds pop
or in tasting the cold deliciousness
of ice cream on my tongue.
With the gift of smell,
I capture whiffs of fragrant flowers
and aromatic perfumes.
I know the petrichor left by rain,
and I scent my mother’s bread and lasagna
baking on a Sunday afternoon.
With the gifts of touch and feeling,
I can fling myself into waves of sea
in joyful abandon,
feeling the sea fresh and crisp
and the sun so warm and inviting
on my skin.
I can feel soft sand beneath
my feet while walking hand in hand
with my sweetheart’s fingers stroking mine
and anticipate the wonderment
of his tender caresses in the night.
The greatest bestowal of God on us all
is the sense of feeling
that does not physically touch us.
This final gift, which I revel in,
lies in the many moments
brought about
when the heart is beautifully touched
by happenstance from any of the other senses.
These are the moments engraved forever in our
personal and collective memories.
In the end, we all have been so blessed
to have a body that brings joy to the spirit.
Thus, also I breathe gratitude.

I have poured out my heart like water
But only those understanding will see
I have laid the grief of the children
before the King appointed to be
I have studied each fragile connection
and the way that men hurt their own
the shield and the scars sealed deeply
and left too many hearts without home
Slave to traditions and teachings
don’t taste don’t touch and don’t care
Ten thousand things that you shouldn’t
of ideological stoning beware
But none can follow examples
of courses they don’t understand
but let’s flay them alive with blazing
and their lives let’s mark with a brand
When learning you to walk upright
when you fell were you beaten and shamed
if just now you are learning to do right
is it just when you fall to be framed
In the gentle stillness
in movement softer than a breeze
pictures of their future
the rest of man at ease
And tender are the Words
that coax the fragile shoots
whose mildness alights
the growth of goodly fruits
Your promises have held me
and voice mine ears carress
in delicate expressions
which avows your loves address
You have drawn us with affection
with persuasions clearly pure
assurances of a truthful pledge
of a love that will endure
In earnest is your bestowal
the announcements of your speech
in readiness to accomplish
to divulge the heart you teach
The essence of your compassion
the ardor of your intent
the center of our being
to its enlargement are we bent
We waded through embankments
and rivers did we ford
sought for the precious things
what is the Truth of Lord
You are the Sun the Moon the Rain
the energy that creates growth
the spirit who supports all Life
and to save it given oath
We will forever turn to you
and happily throw our crown
prostrate in humble gratitude

We, as humans, are obviously born with feelings of spirituality
intertwined in our essence as a miraculous bestowal from God.
This statement does not seem perplexing to accept, given that
all humans around the world know this strong, uplifting feeling
without even thinking about it, because it is profoundly seated.
Civilizations sprang up in varied corners of our existence before
communication, and forms of worship in recognizing a god have
come about naturally with no outside knowledge to steer them.
Accounts in the Bible were similarly recorded by other humans
not known to humans elsewhere, but echo the same spirituality.

My heart will gladly express gratitude for yielding.
The day's fulfilments grasp an epilogue wielding.
At the point when my eyesight would rest placidly.
Distress is being waged elsewhere so abjectly.
Through the ambiguity, a sparkle of spirits is seen.
A tangle of a precious and scarce moment in sheen,
Dreams utterly become a strain whirl as they came.
Provide yourself the bestowal to snag first to blame!
At the staggering giddiness sequestered edge.
Guilt is the comeliness created in camouflage.
In a restrained tone, virtually similar to a mumbled way.
Who is still on the earth? On the suppleness quay.
He is cloaked in its utterly obvious vividness.
In other words, a resentful yearning to assess.
A regret outline abides an odd incredible sight.
Shards of ambiguous stone turn over the blight,
On a slender, silky thread, stashed above.
A spider spots out for a cursory meal to serve.
They mete their lives as not grasping one another.
Brief of jolting ascendancy in a peculiar picture,
Floating in lushness, short of cutouts, or broker insight.
As all worry fades, to propel and fulfill my gist plight.
In the loneliness of my spirit, I hunt the looming dawn.
All worldliness has been transcended, so it has drawn.

Mr. Sun and Mrs.Moon
Wedded before million of years
ago whence our planet was unfaltering
Even whilst differing prodigiously:
in age ,size & their origin
They demonstrate a wonderful couple
Everyday he persuades her with his rays alike
soothing feather.
and shares his love light to her.
She reacts by reflecting back to us.
He wakes up in the morning to find her
to have fallen drowsy.
Observing that he gives her rest,
so that she could be much awake to do her night onus.
Hide-and-seek is their favourite game.
Day and night shifts are their aim.
He is a star and she is a particle of
rock and dust.
Nevertheless they are pleased with each other's
beauty at best.
Sighting her sound sleep he is always
cautious not to trouble her..
Instead adores her beauty from a farther distance.
When the sun makes out with moon:
Occurs the birth of eclipses.
