Formed from the seed of love thoughts prime
a child was woven heroine
biblical prophetess in time
Deborah was such, a name chosen, mine.
Like a lightening bolt was she conceived
a joining of aspirant souls
seeking other primal roles
into a world of controversy she was received.
This fiery woman, a rousing Queen Bee
Debbie the mothering maid
the battle leader, judge conveyed
authority and responsibility hers to seed.
Compatriot of Moses she, from tribe of Ephraim,
Mother of Israel was she.
The equal of every he,
such is the burden given me from the Father of man.
Upon the shoulders a such a frail form
this mighty burden laid.
The outcome heaven made
for all of life is tested and the "bees" are born.
They were extra circumspect in handling the matter
whilst others shrivel up they became fatter
where rules and regulations stamp authority
dictating subordinating those with less money.
Will they ever cease their ways to deliver some of fair?
Will they ever value people just enough to even share?
Will they ever see that hoarding money is unfit?
Will they ever have remorse for the evil they commit?
Will they ever put people first and business further back?
Will they ever know intelligence clearly they do lack?
For higher thought and reason evidentially has declined
when those that have the power fail to be kind.

Praise be to God for His mighty acts, always:

Perfect that props our sanctification
Praiseworthy, propelling our stewardship
Purposeful against slothfulness sowing shame
Performance-pushed toward our steadfast service
Psalms 107:43 Praise be to the Lord for
making us understand His lovingkindness and His:
Rejoicing mirth
Ransoming might
Redeeming mercy
Re-creating miracles
Rejuvenating majesty
Psalms 108:1 Praise be to the Saviour for
fixing our hearts toward His:
Grand hope
Glorious holiness
Generous happiness
Gracious helpfulness
Good heralding of our home
Psalms 109:27 Praise be to the Almighty
for His hands that:
Care for our sorrows
Calm down our struggles
Carry our sufferings and sacrifices
Comfort our souls against sicknesses
Carve our spiritual status as His saints by His strength

The hardest lesson old age has taught me,
About life is that collateral damage will never let me be.
When I was young collateral damage was not real to me,
It was something dreamed up to by others with no plan B,
Those in Authority who could not see,
That everything should be free,
And no harm should ever come to thee or me,
With all accidents avoidable if they listened to me.
Sadly we all have to make decisions that will not please,
Everyone with whom we chose to shoot the breeze.
And the further up the chain of command we climb,
The more likely someone will lose a limb,
Or a life will be cut short before its time.
Having learnt that lesson,
I say to thee who have not yet had that vision,
Procrastination will only lead to a decision,
That may put more in heaven,
And leave few with a break that is even.
So, when you need to make a decision,
You will know time is never kind to those who are on a mission,
To make every decision,
From, a no one can get hurt, position.
it's hard to believe
that baby was me
some fifty years ago
i was that small
and now i'm tall
early days long forgotten
it's hard to see
that little boy was me
some forty years ago
ten years old
and didn't know
where i was or where i was going
it's hard to concieve
the things i believed
some thirty years ago
was i a man
without a plan
or a notion how to know
it's hard to leave
what we once believed
as real life takes it's hold
some twenty years ago
all that glittered wasn't gold
and reaching out for something to hold
it's hard to see
that ten years ago
some ten years ago
that i was already forty
in many cases i was the authority
the duty that comes with seniority
it's hard to believe
this fifty is me
still robust as health as can be
looking forward if i contunue to be
i'll grow old turned elderly
We praise You, our God, for Your compassionate ways…
Forgiving our sins and iniquities’ rays
Putting us in the ministry* for Your holiness’ praise;
Here we are thanking You earnestly for Your abundant grace.
We praise You, our God, for Your constant mercy…
Driving away our slothfulness’ deficiency
Putting us in the ministry along Your help’s fervency;
Here we are working by Your strength of diligent buoyancy.
We praise You, our God, for Your corrective chastisement…
Admonishing our stubbornness’ engagement
Putting us in the ministry, upholding us by Your encouragement;
Here we are humbling before You as we exercise disciplined commitment.
We praise You, our God, for Your delightful pleasure…
Pulling our souls from apathy’s enclosure
Putting us in the ministry inside Your fellowship of divine leisure;
Here we are seeking You by Your kindness-treasure.
We praise You, our God, for Your perfect wisdom…
Extricating our religiosity against idolatry’s boredom
Putting us in the ministry to advance Your kingdom;
Here we are learning from You while teaching scriptural freedom.
We praise You, our God, for Your gentle care…
Warming our hearts within Your love’s full share
Putting us in the ministry along Your watchfulness’ stare;
Here we are trusting You and Your generous provision-welfare.
We praise You, our God, for Your supreme authority…
Delivering our spirits from pride’s gravity
Putting us in the ministry midst Your leadership’s majesty;
Here we are following You with Your guidance-sovereignty.

the bane …
of complacency
the enemy of apathetic ids
an all-consuming blade of inspiration
you, mighty weapon
have slain the fiercest dragons of
detachment and disregard that
humanity has brought against you
and I, a knight of notation,
wield you with an authority graced to me
by a vivid imagination
and a child’s whimsical heart …
oh, I do not take your might for granted
nor underestimate your license …
I remove you from your scabbard
in deepest consideration -
your hilt, I grasp with awe
your edge, I apply in deference and fear
for the wounds I affect
are deep and lasting …
you are the Excalibur of inspiration
pulled from a stone of indifference
by the grandest of acumens and spirits
long, long ages ago …
I take up your glyphic garland
with pride and honor
and an undying respect for
the numberless warriors who came before me
and whose names are a prayer
upon these pious lips …
a prayer for you …
my pen.

FAITH IN GOD WHO DESERVES ALL THE GLORY
God deserves all the glory for His holiness
That upholds our salvation’s righteousness
With our faith in His redemption steadfastness
Toward our good works’ bountifulness.
God deserves all the glory for His grace
That pours to us His blessings throughout the days
With our faith in Him and His miraculous ways
Toward our trust in Him to answer our needs without delays.
God deserves all the glory for His sovereignty
That secures our protection and safety
With our faith in His supreme authority
Toward our future sealed by His certainty.
God deserves all the glory for His compassion
That encloses us around His provision
With our faith in His divine vision
Toward our involvement in His great commission.
God deserves all the glory for His deliverance
That assures His direction of victorious guidance
With our faith in His Word for our compliance
Toward our obedience of no arrogance.
God deserves all the glory for His wisdom
That teaches us His counsels for our genuine freedom
With our faith in His statutes on Biblical Christendom
Toward our service to advance His heavenly kingdom.
God deserves all the glory for His leadership
That makes us follow Him with humble stewardship
With our faith in His instruction in our glorious worship
Toward our discipleship with His partnership.

As we trust Him by faith’s courageous dare
Being thankful for His goodness we can share
For our spiritual welfare.
God attends to our prayer with His concern for our soul
As we rely on Him by faith’s direction toward heavenly goal
Being triumphant to reach servanthood pole
For our jubilant praises, gloriously whole.
God attends to our prayer with His peace
As we abide in Him by faith’s increase
Being watchful against worldly ease
For our honest motive that He alone we please.
God attends to our prayer with His compassion
As we esteem Him by faith’s vision
Being grateful that He grants us His provision
For our timely supply against dearth’s oppression.
God attends to our prayer with His answer to our need
As we depend on Him by faith’s deed
Being hopeful to see His miracles while His Word we heed
For our great testimony that from doubt we are freed.
